My m21s throttle stopped working. I found this did it once and it went up to 25 kph then again and back to full speed 53 kph! Thank you very much I thought it was broken and I'm to lazy to peddle. Lifesaver.
I did unlock the speed, but could not unlock the display. I can hold the two buttons forever, but display won't start to flash. I tried it on 4 bicycles that I have, and all behave equally.

I emailed fiido and they confirmed it does using the same procedure before I took purchase of my M28. Won't be here til next Friday though. You probably have purchased one by now so I hope it can be

Any idea how to unlock speed on a brand new D3 Pro. ALl the hacks on youtube dont work for mine! . Holding down the 2 buttons doesnt make the display flash either 😞
You hold both brakes and twist the throttle for a couple of seconds and power on. You should see an error code. Then complete the second part by holding the buttons and press up down

@@kyedanaher2776 I contacted Fiido support in China and after sending them a video showing the problem, they soon posted me back a new controller, which once fitted allowed the unlock to work and the bike to go up to 40km/h without pedalling (on a full charge and on the flat)
@@msuine The controller is located inside the frame, just below and in front of the seat. The battery connects into it. The control display module may be the little LCD unit on the handle bars, this is not what requires replacing.
You can also skip holding the break and switch to speed mode while bike is moving on the road which is convenient. I guest you only need to use break to avoid unintentional throttle. Mine only shows 25kph but when an external speedometer was attached it will reveal the real speed. I guess they hide the speeds exeeding 25kph. In fact even on fast downhill ride it only shows 25kph. You have to use an external speedometer to measure real speed.

Now I can feel more acceleration when the speed exeeds 25kph. Like for real. Bike is only 5 days since purchase. Wow, I feel this is dangerous haha. I have D4S by the way which could be slightly different.
@@byromtaylor6482 37kph on motor but depending on your momentum it can reach 40kph. make sure to wear safety gear and do it on freeway because small bike can be shakie at that speed

It definitely works, check the comments throughout this thread. Try the speed unlocking step for a little longer, hold down for 30+ seconds. It can be a bit unusual sometimes.
Mine works, it's just not showing on the speedometer but if you use your phone's speedometer (or any garmin like gadget), you'll see it increased. I guest they hide the real speed for legal reasons.

we've only tested this on certain Fiido electric bikes. Unsure if it works on any other brand
I have the fiido l3 (350w tops out at 40km/hour). Can I swap in the M1 Pro controller to get more power and top speed? The M1 pro is 500w

Hello I would like to know how to lock the Fiido M1. I unlocked it but I was no longer able to lock it even by repeating the same step.

I got the M1 Pro but with the wheel in the air it only goes 38kmh. Any idea if that's how it should be and if not how to fix it?
The speed tends to fluctuate. It reached 40 km only twice for Mr with wheel in air.
the newer M1 Pro's will only go to around 40km/hr. We saw this change a couple of weeks ago.

I have an M21 and tried all the unlocks available.When applied the wheel turns really slow,so you revert back to 26kmh.Anyone got a solution?
