He tries so hard to make things uncomplicated, but it’s hard to simplify theory. It’s like reading there are rules that you have to learn in order to be successful at it.

So now instead of only creating beats in the same key. I can create beats in whatever key I want. It also opens up the ability to float between genres. Developing a unique and individual style of my own.
He saying it does the same because most the clipping occurs throughout the kick n 808 so technically ur not affecting the rest of the beat as u would with the volume good way to test this is to try to see if the volume meter duck more than the eq is doing even tho i think its doing the exact same

Was listening to a track i liked and realized the core melody was just one note but if u listening it sound super melodic lol the rest of the beat carried that one key note
