Selling Everything and Moving to Turkey!

- For about two years now we have been talking about making a big move. What seemed to be a joke turned into reality! We ended up selling our house and everything and taking some times out of the 9-5 rat race to try living in a different country!
We moved out family of four to Turkey!

this is such a cool thing to do tbh. Turkey is STUNNING. The amazing weather, food, culture, proximity to so many other great countries too, the sea...my gosh. Enjoy your move guys! I know things will be tough at first but after that initial year I'm certain things will be smooth

What about not being around family?
@user-yg2cw1bb2y for me, it was not hard adjusting. Making friends is not a problem as locals are very nice people and they love to engage into conversations. We occasionally play soccer with Turks and I have Turkish friends who help me with anything they can. There are also plenty of foreigners so you always run into people who are good fit for your circle.
As for family, the main core (our family: wife, kids and me) is always in tact. We also had a lot of family come and visit from my wife's side and my side as well.
It wasn't bad on that part where we overly missed them.

we are working on that! we can invest in property here, we can get jobs in realestate due to knowing english & bosnian. :)!
Ok. Sounds like a good plan. More and more foreigners are buying properties in Turkey and you are native English speakers which can be an edge. Good luck.
