- Very nice and extremely rare visitor from Canada: Learjet 36A, C-FEMT, is seen taking-off at Bern in Switzerland. This small jet with its elegant shape and two characteristic wingtip tanks was built in 1976. It is operated by Fox Flight Air Ambulance based in Toronto, Canada.

Wow! Got a few bumps in that runway. Beautiful flying machine.
Thank you! It was fantastic to see it at Bern in Switzerland.
Love the sound of those original Garrett TFE731s!
Amazing this Learjet was made in 1976....40 Years old.....Looks in superb condition...Great capture Matt...Nice one indeed !! Cheers....Steve.-:)
It is one year older than me :) I have grown up with this Learjets. I love them. Thank you Steve for watching & comment. Have a great day, Matt
Great takeoff love the red colour on the tail cool engine sound
Thank you very much Julian. I loved to see this Learjet 36. The operated Foxflight Air Ambulance embedded this video very honourably on their website.
Very very nice video, one of the best aircraft to use as an air ambulance along with the King air. Thanks for sharing really enjoyed it
Thank you my friend. An ambulance jet is never a good sign. But at least I was very happy to spot it here in Bern. The Canadian registered learjet flew an interesting route from Toronto - Goose Bay - Keflavik to Bern. Cheers Matt
another awesome vid thanks Matthias! keep up your good work!
Thank you very much!! I will do my very best :)
That's a really interesting catch, cool to see this Canadian registered Learjet in Bern. If there was a patient onboard, hopefully they had good insurance to cover the cost of that flight!
Thank you my friend. I was thinking of you when I saw this Canadian registered jet. It flew half around the globe for a medical transport. An ambulance jet is never a good sign. But at least I was very happy to spot it here in Bern.
wondering how many fuel stops it would have made en route
@@VishnuGuruugvishnu depends on how far into cakes it was flying but assuming it was heading to Toronto it would have most likely been 2 possibly 3 (Iceland and goose bay, new foundland).
Very nice catch, Matt! Great camerawork too. Enjoyed it! :D
Thank you very much! It flew half around the globe from Toronto to Bern.
Wow, great catch Matt!
Thank you my friend!
That would be an expensive flight for a patient I guess. Great capture Matt. Great looking aircraft for its age. :)
I hope the patient has a very good insurance ;) At least someone was very happy to spot this great learjet which flew half around the globe :) Cheers Chonaill!
I suppose if the patient was a multi millionaire requiring treatment in Switzerland it wouldn't be a problem. Some flight to endure half way round the world for medical treatment, but if it's life saving definitely worth it.
Lovely this Matt.Super noise from it at took off....Regards....Trevor.''
Thank you Trevor. An ambulance jet is never a good sign. But at least I was very happy to spot it here in Bern.
There was a little wisdom about this jet that said: Before the passengers noticed how cramped the cabin was, the flight was already over ;-)
Good one! It is nearly super sonic :)
nice catch !!!
Thanks!!
He has trusth reverse?
Wow! A really powerful takeoff and climb! Great video Matthias!
Thank you very much!!
I fly this aircraft, but not that day!!
Thanks for the great visit. Hope to see you next time :)
Holy hell that would be an expensive med. flight.
em Curitiba (SBBI) tem um exemplar desse learjet.
Cool! I would love to see it too :)
what's so rare about a LR36A
It flew from Canada half around the planet so Switzerland. They are rare here.
In 1985 they were as common as a Phenom 300 is today, but in 2016 they're rare, especially the 36.
