You should watch the 1966 - 2024 video. The one you reacted is outdated or i guess it doesn't includes the newer Ultraman openings. Due to extreme enviroment on earth, Ultraman need to fuse his body to human to survive an at the same time save the earth. A guy that ultraman choose to fuse will provide a human a transformation item. When danger up ahead the human can use the transformation item to transform to ultraman. I really recommend you to watch some series to get the better idea about ultraman. Ultraman tiga, dyna and gaia is good but as a starter ultraman like mebius because it will tell a lot about the origin of ultraman
