Welcome friends! Hello foe’s
Thought my story was over, book closed?
Think again, we’re no where close
My eyes are open, cheers, we toast
I am mother fucking ghost (he’s a ghost!)
My heart beat blanked, through the ground I sank
I met a driver, his name was Hank
Told me we were on the way, when I asked to where
He said, “can’t say, he himself decides your fate, I’ll drop you off right in front of the gates”
A roller coaster kinda night
My whole life right in plain site
Saw my mom, held her hand
Couldn’t wait to hug her in the promised land
A rush of love, flight of doves
I must be trippin, what a drug
Am I going to Heaven or Hell?
A question I have always asked myself
Brittle Bones Nicky
You were crafty and tricky
It’s said that you were gold
It’s said that you were gold!
Welcome, welcome Nicky
Welcome to heaven!
Doors open up, I was usher’d in
Hank said “good luck to ya kid”
A sign on the door, it read “fate”
Two arrows pointed, to 2 gates
I’m a shoe in, I don’t hate
God laughed right in my fucking face
“No kid, you made many mistakes
Started with the pie to Shifty’s face
Go be with your mates, scoundrels, fakes
You pay for sins in my place”
Mom looked on, without a trace
I was cast away, thrown, hell’s gate
Said “this ain’t fare, you dealt those cards,
I made the most of a terrible start”
No voice came back, laughs from the pack
Spit on my shoes, & clawed at my back
I guess I belong in hell
Is god the devil himself?
Brittle Bones Nicky
You’re not crafty or tricky
You’re a son of a bitch, you’re alone
Welcome to your new home
It was a fucking zoo, rotting in spew
Caged, a bird, bruised black and blue
Cried “I gotta get out of this place”
I heard a voice “only 1 way”
It was Ben, it’d been years
Saved him from the “3 musketeers”
Man I was happy to see his face
“I owe you one, I’ll help you out of this maze,
“Approach the devil, with venomous grace
Tell him you’ll fuck with the human race
He may let you out, as a Ghost, a pawn
To scare the shit out of who he wants
if you serve time, do despicable crimes
The “devil” might let you into heaven in time
Lines right there for you to plead, say a prayer
get on your knees”
I gotta, get outta, this hell
Would you sell your soul to save yourself?
I’m not gonna, get pushed around
I’m not going down, down, down! (Down!)
I’m not going down!
“Come on in, take a seat”
He was turned around, only saw his feet
The voice I knew, I’d just heard
He turned around, it was God, he slurred
“Surprised? Most of em’ are
I’m Mufasa, and I’m Scar”
Lily white shit gets old and trite
Now tell me why you’re in my sight”
“I’ll make you a deal, if I can’t close
Banish me to the down below
I’m crafty and tricky
Millions of people dig me
Let me go back, make people crack
If I do you right, grant me a pass
To see my mom, and watch her back”
Brittle Bones Nicky
He was crafty and tricky
That son of a bitch was gold!
Ya that son of a bitch was gold!
So here I am, not quite a man
But I always got a game plan
I’ll ruffle feathers, fuck with folks
But you know me, I’m a good bloke

@@RareAmericans Hi 👋
I'd like to think that the funeral at the end is Nicky's own, dude basically speedruns the whole afterlife process and is possessing someone before his body is even cold in the ground. What a bloke.

From an analytical standpoint, I like how the lyrics eventually incorporate the hell and heaven in him, combining both in the final chorus to say “That son of a bitch was gold”, to show everyone has duality, especially Nicky
Mom?
Then there's how he's the only one without a heaven/hell themed cart.
that is really cool
0:44 I just realized, the carts, both have symbols on them, symbolizing where each person was going, the wing symbolized heaven, the carts with skulls, symbolized hell.
Nicky was riding the one with a skull, symbolizing his destination at the end.
Very good observation!
Acho que não, tinha carrinho com asas quebrados no mesmo lugar que Nicky ficou

Rare Americans storytelling is top tier. period.
Absolutely. The music videos complement the songs very nicely
Agreed.
YESSIR
The song has been out for a couple days now but i like the animations that go with the songs it makes it that much more enjoyable
I disagree I think it's too in your face. the stories themselves are fantastic but the telling of them doesn't leave much room for imagination which isn't necessarily a bad thing but personally, I don't like it
Can we talk about the fact that Nicky was bodying people twice his size, and the first time something actually stands up to his strength, it's the fucking Wardens of Hell? Because holy shit what a good way to highlight how different things are.
I know right. I mean in his prime in life Nicky was a druggie or drug addict but he did get into fights frequently so he must've been like very lean but strong. The fact that when he was nearing middle age he still got to beat up like 3 other buff dudes that were shanking Ben in prison(the 3 musketeers referred in the song).
Three words: Forever lasting steroids
That would be a terrifying answer. But aren't steroids for making muscles bigger? Nicky has much muscle as a twig (No offense to Nicky intended. Don't wanna get haunted by Chaos spirit Skele-Nicky)
@@deltozilla987 His muscles are extremely dense so the volume stays the same. But there is more mass. It's called weight loss with steroids

The fact of this song is a banger with such a deep meaning. Just proves how rare Americans can make anything into a good song♥️♥️♥️
Anyone else thinks he may be time looping himself? Nicky not only is going back to watch his mom but His Skeleton form is seen several times with him throughout 1 and 2 and even comes out of himself when pushed into hell
idk if youll see this but look at the grave that the skeleton comes out of in the first movie. it says nicholas.
@@darkmatterzero2013 i might be wrong, but nicky could be Nicolas as it is possibly the nickname given by the bully in the first part where nicky trolled the shit out of him
After all both start with ‘nic’
It wouldn’t be strange if Nicolas is called Nicky
Personally, I think it's rather that "His Skeleton Form" in the first one and most of this one, until the very end, isn't actually him, but it's someone else who made the same choices as him. As we see when he becomes a skeleton (which, I assume by how we see a bunch of them next to the angels when he's entering heaven, are the forms of all demons in this world), he possesses someone else to do back stuff, so the skeleton in the first MV is a different Demon possessing him to do this stuff. When the lyrics say "I made the most of a terrible start", he's right, cause it wasn't him doing the bad stuff, it was this other demon forcing him to, hence why the demon in the first MV was enjoying it so much, cause he was using Nicky to get his own reward assumedly (just as Nicky uses that guy at the end to try to get his reward of meeting his mom.) Nicky isn't just a product of a bad system in life, but in death too, that's his "terrible start".
@@brookdevonshire319 either that, or in the first song that's him looking bad at his life, and Nicky basically enlisted to become a enforcer of sorts. Basically do grunt work for the system, we can see with the skeletons they operate as guards, watchers, enforcers in the material world. And vehicles apparently?
And most likely gate operators welcoming and moving people along, or the special cases at the least like Nicky, where it's going to be hard to contain them.

The duality of it all is quite interesting. You've got a protagonist who's made mistakes, but chooses to make the best of a bad situation. Then God or Fate or whatever decides to send him and his family to hell when, really, none of them are bad people. Nicky calls God out for his hypocrisy and then does what he does best, make the best of what he's been dealt. I think the moral of the story is, when the odds aren't in your favor, hang on and fight back. Don't give up on yourself; don't give up on people.
[Everyone liked that]
That’s pretty much what it is. Though your in a rough spot, try to squeeze the most of the good out of it and keep your head up high.
Very well put, couldn’t agree more
I feel like this music video would make for an amazing in depth analysis
Also if you noticed he is not playing by the rules. He stole the hells keys.
i need part 3 please!!!!im hooked cant stop watching
I know
1:45 rlly hit me hard ‘it’s god the devil himself’ makes you think a lot about life and death and what not
Conclusion:
Brittle bones nicky is just a story of a weird kid in his journey to become a boney ghost rider paladin
not sure thats what he set out for at birth, but things happen..

@@RareAmericans BBN started the down fall of music cause after it it became impossible to make a song better than it
The ultimate lifeform. He even switches phases like sans before his 1 to 3 fight in hell.
SHIT YOU RIGHT
Technically yes
Fans: So... this a sequel or prequel?
Rare Americans: Yesn’t
Sorry to ruin this joke. This is technically a prequel. This tells how he becomes a skeleton ghost thing. And in BBN1, it’s him in his skeleton ghost form telling his story to us. Nicky is somewhat self aware.
Rare Americans: Both? Both. Both is good.
I think this a sequel since he sees someone from the first music video
@@popmasteralan5594 but u also have to remember he says a blast from the past so it’s a infinite loop
@@popmasteralan5594 i mean its both right?it explains how he became a skeleton, but it also shows what happened after he died
2:16 this parts beat and guitar is unspeakably fire
Its been 3 years and im still waiting for brittle bones nicky 3 😓
I can’t believe that this is actually the prequel to brittle bones Nicky.
sequel not prequel
@@adoodlingmonkey6247 no, because nicky is the skeleton telling the story of nicky’s life in the first song, and the graveyard at the end of this video is at the start of brittle bones nicky 1, so we do go full circle despite it being a little confusing, but it’s genius none the less
@@lsouthern890 OOHHH SHIT. You right you right.
@@lsouthern890 woah
@@lsouthern890 “You thought my story was over” it may be a prequel for Nicky, but not for the narrative
The lyrical reference and same beat with the "I'm not gonna get pushed around" made me smile so much
This was awesome.
Same, couldn’t wipe the grin off my face at that part!
"Is god the devil himself?" Such a good line!!
Brittle bones Nicky should be a movie !!
Can’t wait for this just gave it a listen and it’s amazing
Same
Waiting to be surprised, hope it's as good as you say!
same
Let me tell you the song is really good and I hope the video is
@@notamoth238 I won’t spoil anything so don’t worry, I do prefer the 1st one, but it’s lyrics are just as amazing, it’s got that same quick paced story telling rhythm as the first one it’s amazing
“I’ll ruffle feathers, but you know me, I’m a good bloke”
Starts world war three
Bloke?
bri'ish
why tho?
According to bbn1, that is when he starts dancing
@@bigboi9434 Bit rude to put that knofe in my chest innit?
@@bigboi9434 yes. He’s bri’ish. He has the British pound on a table in bbn1 when he’s slammed on it by the cops.
Is no one mentioning the "WelCome to HeaAvEn. " from heaven says? I thought that was really cool!
part 2 is the best thing my ears where blessed to ever
heard.
I like the reverse “I didn’t win the game of life but I’d give myself a pass” at the beginning
to me it sounds like a horse
@@uncreativeV To me it sounds like you have hearing problems
and pass on he did
(kinda?)
@@Xx_Tuberculosis_xX i was making a joke
Is this what death looks like
I cant be the only one OBSESSED over the line "I am muffasa and scar" just.. My brain cant find the words
Totally agree. That line makes me shivers every time. It is my favorite line out of the whole song.
I’m just wondering why God is talking about a film that’s like a tiny speck compared to the rest of the universe
@@oceanman7176 Well he's trying to put it in words he'd probably understand
Holy shit how you know?
Yep, My brain keeps repeating,
"Surprised? Most of 'em are! Im mufasa and im scar!"
brittle bones nicky lore goes crazy
BRITTLE BONES NICKY 3!!! PLEASEE
"he was crafty and tricky that son of a bitch was gold" were the first lyrics of brittle bones nicky in-studio. good one Rare Americans
It’s also the first line in the Apple Music version.
In the original it sounded more like “broke” than “gold” imo.
@@AnUnfortunatePotato yeah it sounded like that to me to
It was actually crafty and shifty
