Di Roy it's a strange world where I can say "that makes sense" to something like that
Reallyrandomcircle, Di Roy , Please, show me the part on the manga where it says that he was eaten by the queen 'cause that's not true. It's clearly implied that his brain wasn't eaten by the queen but, if that's the case he would reborn as a subordinate and not as the next queen. In order to transfer his soul to another body or the hability to "reborn" he probably had to meet several conditions in the fight (just like Kuroro and his hability to steal habilities), nobody knows those conditions except Togashi, and if this is the case Kaito probably has to meet even more than 5 conditions 'cause I imagine that it's a really tough one to do.
eleveN they didn't completely clarify that his brain was eaten by the queen, however if you remember after the king was born he said that he when was inside his mothers he tasted something amazing, that was kite and also that's the reason why the king was born earlier than anticipated and no that's no pokkolo ( the guy with the rainbow ability ) because he was eaten way before kite
