This, this is what the aspects should have focused on for titans. Pure, unadulterated, survivability
Sol invictus with phoenix cradle built in and into the fray would have been so much better than consecration and drengr's lash

It's good for about 5 seconds, the uptime takes too much work and in the content where you'll want that much dr, the time to kill will be too slow
as a titan main, it's not good. looks good on paper but not really practice. it requires melee kills to work. all these damage resistance doesn't not last long enough. it's okay at most just because of the stacked artifact perks. without it, it's not even viable for higher end game activities.
As a Titan main, the only thing I'm using Prismatic for is.... I can't be bothered to care at this point for what I could be doing or can't do
hunter: gun with destabilized repulsor brace for void overshield
class item with cyrterachne "woven mail" and renewal with dusk field "frost armor"
ascension with galvanic armor
in total: void overshield, woven mail, frost armor, and galvanic armor with amplified 😅

Hunters can with the exotic class item with the bug helmet and renewal with tether and getting multiarc kills gives you amplified
Don’t forget they can also have restoration with a golden gun
use golden gun for resto, and buried bloodline for devour

Add buried bloodline on top for health on kills and grenade, use shackle grenade for higher woven mail uptime. It's been weeks that i use this build and it rocks

Amplified also applies a small amount of damage reduction when Speed Booster is active

Frost armor is 22% at x5
Woven mail is a fat 60%
And over shield reduces damage done to you. Wtf ! being amplified and surrounded and transcedent is going even beyond ! Thats insane

As cool as this is, the unfortunate truth is that bc destiny applies damage resist multiplicatively, you will see greatly diminishing returns for each additional resist source used.
it’s a really cool concept to try and have a titan actually embrace the Tank role but you can definitely push your effective hp a lot higher by dropping some resist sources in exchange for some healing over time.
I’m gonna hit you with something. Say you have 2 instances of 20% less dmg, the first will reduce your damage taken by 20%, the second will reduce it by an additional 16% given you a 36% reduction total. This doesn’t mean the second instance is weaker, it is still reducing your damage taken by 20%, since 20% of 80 is 16. Multiplicative stacking doesn’t mean one instance will be weaker than the next, just means it’s much harder to reach high numbers, and impossible to reach 100%.
Incorrect it all depends on the damage resistance type
Damage resistances of different types apply in an additive fasion. Furthermore, having higher health from Oversheild boosts that
@@Ghastly_Dysphoria Damage resist will never be additive. If they were, you could reach 100% dmg resist constantly through having only 3 buffs, woven mail, void overshield, and literally any other damage resist. Please never say they are additive again.
@@lupuskitsu248 Sniper Resist and Splash Resist both do 15% apart. 2 sniper resists do 25%. A sniper and a splash does 30%.

Hunters can still do the exact same thing, I have been a Titan main since the Beta of D1. Currently I have better survivability with a 70 resil Hunter than this Titan build. I just hope when Bungie buffs Titan prismatic, it will be worth it.
It would be nice to see each class have a set of Universal fragments and class specific fragments.

The exotic trace rifle The Navigator can apply woven mail to yourself, I believe, by shooting enemies. If not you'd just need an ally, which you'll have in most activities. Frees up an armor and aspect slot, and makes this non-class specific

Time to become borderline immortal with Khovostov to generate and shoot orbs to keep up frost armor.

titan can get damage resist but hunter can put down a decoy and shoot whatever too far for a punch and warlock just heal and shoot things with funny devour

I honestly think they're balanced overall, but in comparison to Warlock and Hunter prismatic in general Titan doesn't stand a chance imo
@@itsdavetvYT Disagree strongly. Hunter prismatic is 100% better than titans, but hunters rn are getting the young child treatment. In comparison to warlocks, prismatic titan is much stronger, prismatic warlock is not generally effective for endgame because of the lack of good tools it has in its kit. Best thing it has is heal nade and song of flame, which are both on solar which is overall better.
Hunters can also do this, pair it with the exotic cloak that has gives you on woven mail after a grenade throw and frost armour when standing in your dusk grenade and use the arc fragment that makes you twirl like a ballerina to get amped, boom, all 3 resists on demand!

Warlocks: I have 3 buddies (arc buddy,solar buddy and bleak watcher)
4 buddies. slap on No Time To Explain and they get a fourth turret via the gun's perk.

Another thing you can do, rather than run shield throw is run either Buried Bloodlines(with catalyst) or Vexcalibur.
Vex will just give over shield when blocking with it
Buried bloodline interacts with the artifact perk where defeating a weakened target with void damage grants over shield
then use that, crazy concept

Exotic class item with Cyrtarachne and Renewal for frost armor and woven mail when throwing a duskfield grenade. Void super with facet of purpose for void overshield. Facet of protection.
Add Ascension or arc multikills for amplified

The issue is that all the damage resistance in the world (totalling at about 25% DR lmfao) can't keep you from dying if you CAN'T HEAL AT ALL
When you have 110% damage reduction so the Witness attacks heal you instead…

hold on, can you use the wish-keeper exotic bow with abeyant leap to always have woven mail on? that would make this build so strong since its a great source of darkness meter and you can pair this with a light special and heavy to increase as much as possible the prismatic meter.

They should still be available, but you can only see it if you're on Warlock I believe

Everything is good except, change stasis with solar to have recovery and NOW you are unkillable, it's waaaay better than the extra armour as you most probably won't be able to get the 4 steaks constantly but every time you get an orb you do get restoration
Only problem is that hammer of sol isn't that great of a super, but honestly use what you like!

Here, ill make this way simpler.
1. Equip ergo sum (any roll you want, i prefer perfect fifth/caster frame)
2. Equip stronghold.

I have been doing ergo sum with midnight coup in Iron Banner and by the end of the game, I usually getting transcendence.
Me running Song of Flame buffs with Devour for easy DR and instant heals upon kills before taking into account aspects to gain overshields and other, far better builds😂
Maybe focus on your own content instead of commenting your useless opinion that doesn't really help anyone

The problem is the Stoicism Abeyant Leap perk doesn't give you Woven Mail in Suspend, if I did I wouldn't be using the base Exotic

They do stack, just diminishing gains since Bungie won’t make a Guardian unkillable

Sry but uh hunters can do it to. Renewal grasp + cytarachnes (frost armor/woven mail), golden gun to get restoration with facet of purpose (which this cannot get), overshield finisher for well void overshield, and if we want to go the extra mile for amplify then put on the new arc aspect.
