Sounds nitpicky, but the first 30 minutes of The Order, I actually spent going around saying "we don't have those in the UK", "Those are American versions of them". then pondering why London is full of fire hydrants and apartment fire escapes. Just felt like zero research was put into it.
The Order 1886 gave me some sadistic pleasure. I remember a line of 12 people at a store trying to return it a week after release with all of them being turned back.
+Kraut and Tea I told the guy at gamestop(that wouldnt stop trying to sell me this shit) how bad it was going to be as i was trying to buy the hitman trillogy for cheap, a fan boy behind me tried actually defending the game he was lost after I told him that CGI trailers aren't games. Alex jones was right about something This gen is brainwashed.
+BrownTownReviews I really HATE that guy, DC keeps shoehorning him into SO MUCH SHIT, all because Deadpool is a hit for Marvel. That's mostly because he's a self-aware court jester 90s comics throwback that they figured out prints money the more comics he cameos in, and Deathstroke is that but still meant to be taken seriously even though he's the most blase of super-solder infused anti-heroes who peaked back in his family story ark in New Teen Titans. But that's just my opinion, I'm sure someone will flip out over it.
+BrownTownReviews Yeah that was some bullshit, I was waiting for an epic fight. Also waaaay more Scarecrow, which was arguably the best part of Arkham Asylum.
I liked The Order 1886... In 2017... when I only picked it up for about $4.00 in the PlayStation Store. I liked Until Dawn....Wen I played it in 2017 for free. See a pattern here? Lol.
“The Order 1886” had a REALLY cool story! The graphics were gorgeous also. The gameplay wasn’t bad, it just had the potential for so much more, especially after all the cool set ups of immortal round table warriors, werewolves, and vampires. If there was a game that needed a sequel, it was this one!!!
Razor Im sure you would love to know Kojima blowed some of phantom pain's budget konami gave him to make his own brand of sunglasses during mid production. That wasnt even a tie-in to the game itself. Thats what sold me that the phantom pain was going to be an absolute trainwreck. I had to do a double take back in 2015 when a japanese journalist published the article.
+The Rageaholic I prefer console at heart(because physical copies)but I find the PC is making consoles more irrelevant because of how compromised they are now. They can do all this shit that(I dont care about) my PC can do way better including having decent games. 2015 was indeed shit for gaming. And thank you for shitting on MGS5. I played that game thinking that the finish was gonna be good when it just ended worse than Undertaker vs. Lesnar.
Arkham Knight was a huge step backwards in terms of gameplay and story. But that Riddler stunt completely turned me off from even finishing the game. Sorry, comeback after you complete more bullshit, Batman... bye bye.
+Prince Revolver The mere fact they had to pleathered the games total length for series of aggravating puzzles of collectition overkill was an insult on it's own. While trying to desperately get you to justify in paying for sub-par mini story quests that were shorter than a 14 minute Maiden song along with boring racing time puzzles was laughable at best. All with a collective price tag of $30, this game should of been considered offensive to most Batman fans.
Oh shit! A game I liked is on this list and high up on it! Well shit, it's ALMOST like these lists are someone elses opinion. AND Almost like he brings up valid points about why he does not like the fucking game that I totally agree with and look at that I STILL like the game. So, think about that before you thumb doww and sperg the fuck out in the comments
As much as I liked MGS5, you're god damn fucking right it isn't a 10/10. Not even a 9. It was just an unfinished mess of a game, no thanks to Kojima and Konami's kat fight. It reminds me of how fucked the ending to Mass Effect 3 was, except Bioware fucked their game up on purpose.
Fallout 4 at the very least deserves an honorable mention for its thoroughly backwards design decisions and Bethesda's refusal to treat their players like they have any intelligence whatsoever.
I've put in quite a few hours in Fallout 4 this many years later and I still find it an enjoyable game. Granted, they could have done so much more with the settlement building and Garvey could have been less annoying of a meme.
True story about EA Battlefront, when I criticized it for having less content as it won't have more Force Awakens and more importantly no Clone Was. One guy said that he's glad that the Clone Wars isn't in the game saying "it's the boring part of the old games" Despite the fact it's just the same 4 classes with different skin, it must have a suck for the Clone Wars to give extra content (Naboo, Jedi Temple, Felucia, Geonosis, Kashyyyk, Mustafar, Mygeeto, Utapau), the extra heroes and villians are too messy (Mace Windu, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Aayla Secura, Darth Maul, Count Dooku, Jango Fett, and General Grievous)
+Nam Nguyen I guess less is more nowadays to some idiots out there? Clone wars part being absent is was what made me not buy this game altogether along with no campaign and a ridiculous $50 season pass price tag ,WTF???
+DANTASTIC MANIA What's worse that the game doesn't even take advantage of the new stuff from the Original Trilogy i.e Star War Rebels, it would have been bitchin' to play as the Inquisitor, or Kanan or Ahsoka Tano, and no Chewbacca, Yoda, Ben Kenobi, Badass Sidious with his lightsaber!?! Of all the Top 5 turds, this game hurts me the most, I traded that game in for Black Ops 3, sure it's recycled boring trash but at least it's more complete than Battlefront, and it keeps my cousins occupied.
Stuff like that is why I keep my SNES around since 1997/98 and rather return to some 16 bit stuff and try to find something out of that library I don't yet possess
I see those poor fuckers pop up occasionally, I think it's a sort of abused spouse kind of thing, that or they don't want to admit they sunk so much faith into a game that turned out to be shit.
+trahapace150 Behold the aspergers laden creep, who due to being shunned out of social gatherings, has divined it normal and acceptable to compare video games to spousal abuse. i'm sure you're swimming in friends pal.
bruce livingston because , like I imagined, that person has never played better games like "uncharted", "gears of war", "spec ops the line", "GTA5", "putting your dick in a toster", the game has good ideas , great potential and gorgeous graphics, but it wasted it all, you varely get to use the creative weapons, the level and enemy design is the most basic I have ever seen , the stroy is simple but tries to sound complex with too much dialogue. Finding somebody that has played those games and likes the order is equivalent to finding somebody that has eaten burgers in over 100 different places and sais that mcdonalds is among his favorites
+ALJustice0 Then Ubisoft had the balls to say they were shocked when Syndicate had poor week one sales. You mean to tell me a franchise that has been known to have game-breaking glitches when it's released every year is now starting to feel the effects of diminishing returns? Who in hell would have ever thought?
+Kyle De'Larouche Similar Victorian/Dickensian aesthetic, similar theme of being a hunter of monsters (although, in the case of the Snoredor, that was blatantly false advertising), infusion of occultism/strange technology into the setting, gameplay that verges in polar opposite directions in all regards.
EA Battlefront clearly suffered from being post-Lucas. The first two were these insanely geeky games with everything possible thrown into them, then the whole Expanded Universe gets thrown away. At the very least, they were going to have to scale everything way back.
I'm surprised Tony Hawk didn't make the list. I loved that series and the fact that they want full retail price for the insult that is Tony Hawk 5 blows my mind. Just "How?"
You just gotta love Razörfist. He never fails to deliver something so edgy, you'll cut your finger by clicking on it. Putting MGSV on the top 5 turds list, never mind #2 on the list. He truly lives up to his name.
***** Hey hey hey - no need to get aggressive. I really like your channel. If you haven't seen it, I proclaimed why I like your channel so much on your Star Wars video. That comment had quite a few likes, IIRC. I have never called you "edgy" before, but I always guessed that's what you try to be to a certain extent. I mean you put a giant freaking razorblade on the screen and call yourself "Razörfist". I liked your MGSV review. I even agree with you on quite a few things, but I don't think it deserves a place on a "Top 5 Turds of 2015" list. I don't feel the need of disproving your points, because I agree with quite a few of them, but not all of them. If I were to do that, I'd have to write a 10 page comment, and that wouldn't be disproving, but just my opinion. So calm down, please. My opinion is different than yours, and I guess it must've come across as way more negative than I actually intended. All I did was make a small joke about your name and how you never fail to deliver what I like about you. Guess I should've used emoticons/emojis to insure I don't sound hostile, but then you'd probably call me doubly autistic. By the way, was it really necessary to bring the big guns to a comment like mine?
2015 was pretty much the year that solidified the idea to me that AAA titles aren't even worth looking into (unless you consider Xenoblade Chronicles X, Tales of Zestiria, and Super Mario Maker to be AAA titles these days). I had immensely more fun playing things like Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 3 and Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax than I did for literally every AAA title that I played that was released in 2015.
+DarkFlice Hell, most of the year I just played my old games like the first KotoR and Morrowind. Games like Xenoblade Chronicles X, while not perfect, showed that there was a lot of love that went into that game and felt like a better Western RPG than Fallout 4. Which is fucking crazy considering that Xenoblade is a JRPG! Overall, 2015 was not a bad year in gaming, it just was not a good one. With how terrible last year was people think this year is so great because the industry did not shit itself as hard as it did last year. Games like Splatoon, Bloodborne, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Mario Maker, a plethora of indie games made by people with some actual fucking passion for video games, and even Halo 5 (not as good as 4, yes I liked 4, but was still better than what Bungie has been doing for the past 2 years). Unfortunately, there was far too much shit out this year that actual good games took a back seat...as usual.
Hovis Steve Well, if you're going to say that it's overrated, I would really like some elaboration, because most game critics scored it somewhere around a 7.5-8.3/10, which is around where I would expect a game that I would call 'good' to fall. I could see you saying it's overrated if it got the same scores that Resident Evil 5 got (mostly 8.5-9/10 for something that I would argue was a spit in the face to Resident Evil fans, and really only made to kill off Wesker), but XCX falls right where I would expect it to fall in terms of how it's rated.
Loved the video, although personally I really enjoyed Until Dawn and Star Wars Battlefront. Keep doing you Razorfist, I'm realising more and more than your views don't need to match my own for them to be thoroughly enjoyable...although seeing you shit on a game I don't like is undeniably enjoyable!
Felt like more of a list of most over rated games then worst. I'm not going to call you contrarian because you're not, but I think you were trying to balance the scales more than call out the worst games released this year. The Order and Until Dawn were the only ones that belong on this list
+JrIcify - Bullshit. I said at the outset: "This was the year Triple-A broke down and Indie broke out." The overhyped games WERE the worst games of the year. Without question.
+EarFarce4 If it was most brazen games of 2015 it would. But there are much worse examples of what makes all of these games bad lower down the vgcharts list.
Krispy Kreme just opened a branch in my city, so I'm watching Razorfist with a hot and fresh doughnut and a few big dabs. Could life get better? I think not.
What the? I used to respect your opinions, but it's obvious from your doughnut preference that was a mistake. Kiss this subscriber goodbye you Dunkin Donuts desiring douche-dog.
I only have knowledge of very few old school video games. What are 5 of the best games in the category of first-person-shooters, or the like (of any year)? I'm thinking of getting back into it. Anyone.
I'm surprised BFHardline didn't make the list. Also dishonorable mention to Evolve and MKX. Not bad games perse but the microtransactions were shameless.
If I may make a humble suggestion, Razor... Have you ever thoughts of doing a top 5 Worst Gaming Companies of Modern Times list? I'm willing to bet trying to denote exactly which company is worse than another would be a VERY difficult undertaking. There are many, many similarities between them, to be sure, but you clearly have a thing for ones like EA who buy out game developers and then ruin them entirely. Hmmmm.... On second thought, maybe the list should be the Top 5 Developers EA Fucked Over. Because at this point, there's no shortage of candidates to choose from. Anyway, just a couple of suggestions for possible future videos.
That's pretty good. I personally enjoyed Until Dawn but I will admit there were things about it that disappointed me. I played it once through but I sold it right after. Good video.
Eagerly awaiting the top whatever arbitrary number Triumphs of 2015. However, I understand if you can't find enough content to fill a top three video for last year
I like how he mentioned Danger Close being disbanded because EA disentegrated the Medal of Honor franchise and it wasn't supposed to launch the way it did it 2011
"2015 killed off more Hollywood careers than Canon Films." If only Razor knew what was on the horizon for 2016
*2020
I'm further along in the timeline.
Shit sucks, homie.
Sounds nitpicky, but the first 30 minutes of The Order, I actually spent going around saying "we don't have those in the UK", "Those are American versions of them". then pondering why London is full of fire hydrants and apartment fire escapes.
Just felt like zero research was put into it.
+Larry Bundy Jr - The game where Nikola Tesla manufactures Victorian Laser Rifles lacks historical authenticity?
Way to shatter my illusions.
***** I know right? Everyone knows it was Thomas Edison who actually created them!
+The Rageaholic Completely unrelated, greg land is fucking trash.
Kagemaru Kurosuke - A popular opinion. An ignorant and invalid one. But a popular one.
***** Who is your favorite artist anyway?
The Order 1886 gave me some sadistic pleasure. I remember a line of 12 people at a store trying to return it a week after release with all of them being turned back.
+Kraut and Tea For the first time, I watche a whole long play just to listen to the lamentation of the youtuber, was not disapointed xD.
+Rudis The whole game is computer generated.
Reading this comment makes the recent BDSM revelations regarding you seem obvious.
My biggest criticism of Arkham knight was that we had to fight death stroke
IN A FUCKING TANK
WTF ROCKSTEADY
WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+BrownTownReviews I really HATE that guy, DC keeps shoehorning him into SO MUCH SHIT, all because Deadpool is a hit for Marvel. +BrownTownReviews Yeah that was some bullshit, I was waiting for an epic fight. Also waaaay more Scarecrow, which was arguably the best part of Arkham Asylum.
BrownTownReviews How come that's the first I hear of that? This is madness!
Arkham Origins did it better.
And we really didn't get to fight the Arkham knight like we did deathstroke in origins
Off topic, but I'm with you 110% on Silent Hill 4. That game has to have one of the most unfair negative stigmas in all of gaming.
I liked The Order 1886... In 2017... when I only picked it up for about $4.00 in the PlayStation Store. I liked Until Dawn....Wen I played it in 2017 for free. See a pattern here? Lol.
Until Dawn is a good party game. I played through it with a couple friends and a few cases of beer and we had a great time!
“The Order 1886” had a REALLY cool story! The graphics were gorgeous also. I never got tired of the Nick Cage pictures. Everyones favorite bad actor.
But... But... Didn't you know? All of these are secretly parodies! HOW DARE YOU INSULT THESE MODERN MASTERPIECES?!?!
Maestro Lol

Wow that makes sense and not surprised, along with listening to him and Avi Arad lathering Kiefer Sutherland, no wonder that games budget went up.
...You can't be serious
Duuuuude. I forgot the order even existed lol.
So did most of the people who played it.
+Darkly Tranquil that happens to (late to the gate) launch titles.
+Darkly Tranquil Otherwise known as The Platinum 1886. Trophies are easier to acquire than the codes to the GoldenEye satellite.
+MalikJC - Me too.
That tends to happen when tic-tac-toe has more gameplay variation.
Why the fuck do I even have a PS4? Did I pay too much when I got it for $300 last Febuary?
+Maxpound - Just tell yourself "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is coming out... _eventually_..."
Stops the splitting migraines cold.
I needed a matching dust collector for my Vita.
+Maxpound Bloodborne is well worth it.

And thank you for shitting on MGS5. I played that game thinking that the finish was gonna be good when it just ended worse than Undertaker vs. Lesnar.
+Maxpound you payed $301 too much
Like the music business, the video game industry is so corporate that it desperately needs an indie revolution.
Actually i don't think they should be forgotten. To forget is to be doomed to repeat the mistakes.
Arkham Knight was a huge step backwards in terms of gameplay and story. But that Riddler stunt completely turned me off from even finishing the game. Sorry, comeback after you complete more bullshit, Batman... bye bye.

+TromaFan4Life your and idiot :)
+TromaFan4Life Since when do people are allowed to have opinions on the internet?

It's like 2016 took the intro to this as a challenge. "Hey, nice Bowie and Prince ya got there, shame if something happened to 'em"
That moment of confusion when you have to remember what "the order 1886" actually was
LOL nice steve shives diss. And your vocabulary is on point.
Fallout 4 at the very least deserves an honorable mention for its thoroughly backwards design decisions and Bethesda's refusal to treat their players like they have any intelligence whatsoever.
+some context Yeah, but in my opinion, Fallout 3 was significantly better than than its successor.
I've put in quite a few hours in Fallout 4 this many years later and I still find it an enjoyable game. Granted, they could have done so much more with the settlement building and Garvey could have been less annoying of a meme.
Good joke 👍
Ah Razorfist. You had me at "Faster than Steve Shives on a block button". Instant like.
Thank you. The truth cannot be denied. Well done.
I'm disappointed that MovieBob wasn't on this list.
+Jackmono1 Not enough space on a Top 5.

Felt like more of a list of most over rated games then worst. I'm not going to call you contrarian because you're not, but I think you were trying to balance the scales more than call out the worst games released this year. The Order and Until Dawn were the only ones that belong on this list
+JrIcify - Bullshit. I said at the outset: "This was the year Triple-A broke down and Indie broke out."
The overhyped games WERE the worst games of the year. Without question.
+The Rageaholic They were emblematic of larger problems with AAA in general. The only standout thing about them were their undeserved success.
+EarFarce4 If it was most brazen games of 2015 it would. But there are much worse examples of what makes all of these games bad lower down the vgcharts list.
+The Rageaholic ...... Then what was Alone in The Dark: Illumination?
+JrIcify If you want someone who will pick apart 8-bit indie puzzle/platformer 5 times over I'll have to redirect you to TotalBiscuit
Love that intro with Inquisition!
Krispy Kreme just opened a branch in my city, so I'm watching Razorfist with a hot and fresh doughnut and a few big dabs. Could life get better? I think not.
+VerbatimBlowJ - Could it get better? Only if it was Dunkin Donuts, instead.
What the? I used to respect your opinions, but it's obvious from your doughnut preference that was a mistake. Kiss this subscriber goodbye you Dunkin Donuts desiring douche-dog.
I couldn't have said it better myself.
OMG the Nick Cage desktop pic with the internet explorer icons killed me.
At least we got Bloodborne in 2015. I'm still playing that game to this day.
OMFG i love this !!!
HELL YEAH! UNTIL YAWN IS IN HERE! 😃👍 GREAT JOB RAGE!
Was that the elevator music from SNES Jurassic Park? Class game.
Will there be a top good games of 2015?
I only have knowledge of very few old school video games. What are 5 of the best games in the category of first-person-shooters, or the like (of any year)? I'm thinking of getting back into it. Anyone.
Found you from your daredevil review
Your great
2015 was just the finger. in 2016, get ready for the whole fist!
Yep. Good list. Couldn't agree more.
I love the phantom pain but this is still a very entertaining video.
Goddamn that was glorious.
Couldn't agree more about until dawn.
I need at least one "god speed" before work everyday.
This video has an impressive meme density, almost mlg 420 noscope tier.
I'm surprised BFHardline didn't make the list. Also dishonorable mention to Evolve and MKX. Not bad games perse but the microtransactions were shameless.
+SCP-1048 Builder Bear Oh yeah, Evolve, more like DE-volve. $150 for the full game? Fuck you Turtle Rock Studios!!!
Nice list and video. What would consider a top 5/great games from 2015?
Damn it Razorfist, you just had to remind us of the deaths of our favorite celebrities. :'(
Even used the elevator music from Jurassic Park SNES. Awesome.
Good review, full of truth. Curious what inspired the Tubman joke? Really wanna like it but I dont get inspiration.
Hoping for a Top 5 enjoyed games of 2015, Razor.
I guess it's weird that I enjoyed Arkham Knight - and Mad Max.
No question they both had problems though.
That shot at Tucson, brutal.
I knew the turd vid was coming.
love that mega man theme!
I don't agree with your politics (your taste in music is excellent, however) but you are so articulate! Keep making awesome videos.
this video made me nostalgic for megaman.
Good video.
Oh yeah, the year we lost Iwata and I didn't want to remember Nimoy being dead.
2015 also took from us Monty Oum.
Eagerly awaiting the top whatever arbitrary number Triumphs of 2015. However, I understand if you can't find enough content to fill a top three video for last year
I like how he mentioned Danger Close being disbanded because EA disentegrated the Medal of Honor franchise and it wasn't supposed to launch the way it did it 2011
God bless you RazorFist.
Hughes/Thrall was awesome.
Looks like Razor has been hitting the gym.
What's your opinion on Mad Max fury road and/or the game?
"dark and hard-bodied"
