  • I finally assembled my fabric book with all of the 2” squares I stitched in previous videos! It took longer than expected due to all the gardening I’ve been doing. I machine stitched the signatures on but the rest is hand stitched.
I have made videos showing how I stitched all of the squares in the book.
I love stitching fabric pictures. This is my favourite way to spend my free time.
I enjoy making fabric books with my stitched art.
I have a few videos showing how to make a fabric book using different methods. Here’s my playlist on fabric book assembly • Fabric Book Assembly

    Hi Jen:
This has got to be one of the sweetest slow stitched books. I’m a miniature artist and totally enjoy your fabulous little pieces. The work you put into those squares is so unbelievably creative. You are a master at your craft and I appreciate your time spent teaching us. The cover is the icing on the cake! 💜😎🇺🇸

@@cookingjennfer How sweet! I’m not on any multi medium platforms. My artwork, grandmother’s, mother’s and my sister’s art is everywhere in my home. Mostly acrylics and pastels. I taught my sister slow stitching after watching you and Kool Kooky Creatures. She is so hooked! You’ve been such an inspiration, and I so appreciate the time you put into your tutorials. 💜😎🇺🇸

oh, goody!!! Another journal of your fabulous work!
Have you ever tried the ladder stitch for joining the page edges?
I was wondering if you ever sewed down the middle pages for the spine. Now I know!
The beading on the spine, is so cute! I like that - - my great granddaughter will be ecstatic to try it! I like the final review .... I have missed so much ... but, I will catch up, I am sure.

@@cookingjennfer The ladder stitch is used in knitting, but you may not like it for what you are going for. It is designed to make the stitches disappear ... that may not be what you want ... it is also used in appliqué ... I happened to see one of your videos pass by on something I was looking at - - it was not until it disappear that I realized the words "needle turn appliqué" was used ... for the life of me, I cannot remember which video it was, so, of course, I am looking for it, don't you know? LOL ...

Keepin mind every time you rub your hands on your work, you deposit oils and dirt onto the surface. People always would put - long word- on furniture to protect them from oils and dirt. I suggest a filmy gossamer fabric to put on outside of your book. I think called anti macassars, usually crocheted..

Every time you rub your hands lovingly on your work, you deposit oil & acids from you skin to your art work. Make sure a gossamer cover for your work.
