- The most frequently asked question I get is about what I do with my stitching projects.
While these little pieces of fabric art could be used for greeting cards or as framed art, I prefer to put my stitched pictures in fabric photo albums so I can flip through and look at them any time I want.
In this video I’ll show you how to assemble a fabric book. I have a longer version of this accordion style book here • Make A Fabric Book Wit...
Here’s the video where I show how I make rolled beads out of old jeans. • How to Make Rolled Den...

Dear your art is astonishing beautiful and i want to mix and match with your art with my ideas and will sell in my city in Pakistan so ethically morally I think I can do it, will you permit me too to copy your work and mix and match with my ideas and create and sell these?
Please reply.
This would be so lovely as a toddler gift- so tactile and would encourage conversations, making up stories about the creatures on the page. Great work. X
That's a great idea! It would be good to maybe add some things that make noise during stitching. Like something that scrunches or jingles.
I love this book and the method of doing it is not complicated. And I saw Snowflake sleeping quietly and you also have a dog!! 🐱🐶🐱🐶
Thank you! It’s my favourite way to assemble the books. Snowflake is coming around more lately. She makes an appearance in the video I’ll put out on Saturday ☺️ she was there trying to eat my snack.
I greatly appreciate your work.🎉❤ thank you.🙏🏼
So glad! Thanks for watching!
The beads from jeans are genius!
Thanks!
Your stitched art brings a smile to my face. One day I will make one 😄
me too.
Thank you! ☺️ I hope you do try. It’s fun and relaxing.
Hi Jen:
Fabulous book! All your pages are so stunning! That hummingbird is very well done. I had to look at it quite a few times. Really appreciate you sharing your projects. 💜😎🇺🇸
Thank you as always for your lovely comments!
I have all these small pieces of animals and food and things. I am no longer able to make a quilt but after your inspiration I can make a book for my newest grandchild. Thank you❤❤❤❤❤ 18:38
Excellent! I’m sure it’ll turn out great!
One nice thing about getting to the party late on RUclips is - - your book series will get brought to more people's attention - - more people like me! My mother always said that if one creates an appetite for something, the appetite has to be filled. It works! LOL
I’m happy to help. 😆
@@cookingjennfer you are an ENABLER! LOL .. I get by with a lot of help from my friends!
I love this. The denim buttons are perfect and the cover fabric looks like it has little critter footprints all over! Happy Saturday!
Thank you! It does look like little footprints so perfect for what’s inside. 😊
I absolutely love this!! Thanks so much for sharing! 😊
Thanks for watching!
I love this book
Thanks!
Fabulous absolutely love the fabric book...and the pictures are adorable ❤

Wow love so much your book and all your book pages. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.😊
Thank you so much!
I have been looking at several fabric book tutorials, and I like this one the best, so I will give it a try. Thank you for the tutorial.
I hope you enjoy making a book like this!
Beautiful your fabric book, love it❤😊
Thank you! 😊
Your tutorials are clear and precise. Now I feel confident enough to make a fabric book of my own. Thank you ❤
Wonderful! I hope you do!
Very nice! Thank you! I've been wanting to find a tutorial on how to make a fabric book for slow stitch. Love the kitty!
Glad it was helpful! ☺️
YOU MY DEAR….have captured the ART of Teaching using ‘Multiple Ways of Learning “…..ie Howard Gardner my Masters Program in Education year 2000 of which he speaks of nine ways plus…..the first three we pretty much all know :auditory, visual and kinesthetic……but when You add MUSIC one checks off another of the nine….of which auditory is covered ….but your choices Dear seem to me so exquisitely curated…..which ALL great teachers/instructors as Yourself and others on Utube/Flosstube have opened an entire world to people such as myself that are “grabbed by music” into learning…..this is the best of Social Media today…..
Thank you so much! I’m not a professional but I’m so glad you find my style of teaching useful. ☺️
So pretty, and love seeing your pets! Enjoyed the music too!🥰
Thanks! I like classical music and animals. ☺️
Very pretty book, i like the construction of it.
Thanks!
OMG, we have the save cover fabric! I'm using mine to cover the pro-Palestinian journals I'm making. Just add green buttons and VOILA! Working on one now. Your beautiful creation has given me the idea to use a green button for the closure. TFS!
I thought it was a cool pattern and looked a little like animal feet. Green would look great!
Well, another perfect project - I love watching you work and showing us how to do it too! I am a visual learner in this stage of life- your videos enable me to create too - thank you so much. A squeezable work of art, pleasure to the senses..
Thank you! I am also a visual learner. I’ve been like that forever.
Delightful! I so enjoy watching you work, it is very relaxing. Thanks for sharing. ❤👍from Somerset UK
Thank you very much!
This is adorable …. Would be a nice calming activity for me
Thanks! It’s very relaxing. That’s why I love it so much.
WOW, SUPER helpful!! I have a bunch of stitched pieces sitting in a drawer because I couldn't figure out an easy way to make them into a book! This is BRILLIANT!! Thanks!!
Glad it was helpful! There are other ways to assemble fabric books but I think this is my favourite.
You have inspired me to to start slow stitching. I will be teaching my son and daughters 7&8 grade classes to slow stitch. This is a perfect introduction to sewing for their home economics class and art class.
How wonderful! I hope you all have fun!
What a collection!!! Thank you for this and your other wonderful tutorials! They truly inspire. I am always torn about making books because I like the back of the work too! 😅
Thanks! I don’t keep the backs tidy so I don’t have to think twice about hiding them. 😆
@@cookingjennfer my backs aren’t tidy but for some silly reason I like them!🤭
I love love your work thank you so much for this gorgeous demo
Thank you so much!
Какая милая детская книжка получилась. У птички гнездо из ниток уютное и нарядное.
Thank you! 😊

Thank you! 😊
Beautiful!!!!
Thank you!!
beautiful. tfs
Thank you! 😊
I love this video and really want to make a book just like it. I’m confused as to how the pages don’t flop around with just the back and front cover anchored down. Don’t I have to see each individual page to the spine of the cover? Please help😁😁😁😁😁😁
YES...... how / what did i miss to keep pages from flipping out?????❤❤❤❤❤
If you go to 6:00 I have clipped the folds together and stitched the pages together on 3 sides. That holds the accordion together and you don’t need to do anything else to the spine. I show everything in more detail in this video ruclips.net/video/5pM3mehhInc/видео.htmlsi=KIaXOdezBBaJ8urg if it helps. 😊

@@cookingjennfer THANK YOU♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Ах!!!какая милота.
Thanks!
This is great! Thank you for the video. I have an old classic book with pages missing or torn and would like to use this for my slow stitching pages. I am planning to remove the remaining pages and use just the cover. Have you used an old book like this?
I haven’t but maybe making signatures like I did here ruclips.net/video/uNZFEzUsHG4/видео.htmlsi=XKS47fUbzrgVgWT1 and attaching them to a piece of cardboard with string or east of then somehow attaching the cardboard to the book spine would work.
I don't make books out of my work because they're bigger pieces, I keep them until I find a purpose for them 😊
You could frame yours. Maybe make cushions? I guess it would depend if they’d be washable or not.
@@cookingjennfer I have some framed already but I can't frame them all it becomes too much.
🥰
😊
Why do you do small art work?
Please will you do larger size art work to put a book together? 🙏🏼
I enjoy making small art. That’s what makes me happy. You can certainly use these ideas and make whatever size you’re comfortable with.
Thank you for your advice
I will try also to make smaller size too.
Душевно.
Your assistants don't seem very helpful !!!❤❤❤ Big hugs to them and a huge thank to you 😍
They think they are 😂. Thanks for watching!
Do you sell your fabric books?
Nope. I keep them for myself. I like flipping through them.
@@cookingjennfer I don't sell my work either.
