Zach and Jordan both had their hats off when David lipped out for the win lol
Hearns 5 footer for the win has to be haunting him to this day. Of course I’d want Jordan out of these three, but you gotta feel bad for a guy when he does that
Probably because of his stupid looking putter
Its the Long Putter
Pros have generally learned to accept losses gracefully. For me, golf is a game where I can't hold onto what happened on the last shot, whether it was a year or day ago.
He was a bit hasty but he played great
made me cringe even though I was rooting for Jordan at the time.
I like how he looks exactly the same 8 years later lmao
Yep
Has it really been that long
9
Hair is slightly shorter but yes haha
I remember it feeling like he looked SO old when he was this age (he’s 3 years younger than me) and now… ya he still looks like early 20s
I had the pleasure of watching this go down live with my father next to me. We both had tears in our eyes and a smile on our face. A memory we still talk about. Privileged to watch the birth of a legend in the greatest game ever played.
I bet you believe covid is real and probably voted for sniffden. Let me guess, "he died from covid"
I love how when Hearns had that putt Jordan and Zach had their caps off ready to shake hands lmao
We live 10 minutes from the course and it has become a family tradition each year! This was the most memorable tournament for me and I was so glad to see it in person
LUCKY!! AWESOME TRADITION!!!!
Same, such a well ran tournament
Home ooh
Great post. PGA Tour stepping up their vault/highlight game as of late. Maybe they’re finally evolving past the “3 Minutes of 7’ Putts” montage strategy of the last decade?
Good morning matt ! How are you doing?
savage
Spieth’s swing is silky smooth here
Good morning cile! How are you doing?
I love it cuz my favorite golfer of all time Jordan Spieth has won my home town PGA Tour Tournament the John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run Golf Course in the Quad Cities Illinois/Iowa.
When i grow up i like to be like Jordan Spieth. My man Jordan! Nice win!
My favorite player! ❤️
12:00, everyone thought they were done, they had there hats off and everything, poor Hearn😭😭😢😢
For three guys who shot 19 under this tournament that wasn’t great golf in the playoff
theres always one of ya
That’s called nerves. Everyone gets tight
By some weird twist of fate this is the first PGA tour event i watched (never was a golf fan). Witnessed the making of a champion.
Same as me!!!
I have played this course a bunch of times since it's in my home town. It's crazy watching the pros play a course I have played on knowing I will never hit any of these shots.
Seeing Spieth as a kid is one thing, but super young Greller sans beard is just startling
A lot of talent!
That’s gonna be me in 8 years! Jordan’s the best!
Man Hearn had a lot of chances
I don't even know who David Hearn is, but he's pretty darn clutch
You being sarcastic? He choked on three putts on the last 3 holes. Especially the last two holes, haha
5:49 did y’all here what he said the background😂😂😂
He said bababooey
Just watch stumbled across LPGA first like PGA little bit now as well. Most of them are kids nowadays as well. Sawadee.🤠
hearn hasn't stopped putting
Played another third of a day, just in the playoffs lol
We had an 8 hole playoff just a few weeks ago too
Zach Johnson's swing is so stiff lol
Best release in golf baby. We'll never see straighter arms for longer
Flexible enough to wear a green jacket
@@petitnuage18 and OPEN!
More quality content!!
Good morning wesley ! How are you doing?
My guy was destroying everyone in the age of 21
Fierce Shot! Woow... sir.#PilarA
You don’t get a putter that long without being an absolute liability on the greens
I was there!
Cool!
Same
My man hitting the self-revive a foot away from the hole, IYKYK
and the fit trash, double homicide
11:58 oh my mama that is probably the worst feeling.
These were his years when no one could touch him
It was his first win right. So your wrong. It was the beginning of Jordan spieth dominating 2015-2017
@@bobanderson9715 yes I’m wrong ur right
let’s go
I remember when he won the Masters 2015, then the US Open that same year… then the Masters 2016 happened and idk what happened to his career
Wife/Kid
@@chezchezchezchez Fame. Endorsements. Happened much worse for Fowler.
I thought he was like 27 lol
Hearn with some clutch putts...
The day that Tiger Woods was in fear of his GOAT title.
what a funny interview question... did the ball have spin on it?? LMAO
I mean he's really asking if Jordan is willing to acknowledge that it was miles past and possibly in the water if it doesn't drop... which he was.
@@jackknowles5295 lol yeah but at that point does spin really matter?
@@jackknowles5295 I'm only an 8 handicap and I don't think any spin would save that shot for me haha
@@djcardwellai of course spin matters there! If it has spin it checks just past he hole and releases to like 6 feet. If it doesn't have spin it might be in the water lol
@@evanwrenn402 let me know when you figure out how to take spin off a shot like that. I'd love to see it
3:10 my man got robbed wow
lol hearns was set up like a 23 handicap on the last playoff hole and then hit it even farther right...😩
I only wear under armor because of him,
Johnson threw his ball in the water behind him on the last hole. Very odd.
That's what David gets for using that ridiculous putter
that guy lost cuz the way he holds a putter :D
came here to find david hearn jokes. was disappointed lol
Hearn really should have won
He was just a baby. Look at his face on that thumbnail
So glad they banned those broomstick putters. Hated those goofy things
Why did they ban them
@@Andrew-dh1ws because instead of being a remedial tool people started realizing they were better than regular putters, you had Keegan Bradley and Webb Simpson both use a long putter to win majors in a short span when a long putter had never previously won a major (mainly due to the implication that someone using one wasn’t putting well, for example Vijay used the long putter at times to fix his stroke but won both his majors with a conventional putter)
@@TheLocalLt so they banned them because they were too good? like illegal clubs sort of thing
@@Andrew-dh1ws for some guys yeah, you used to never see someone the age of Keegan Bradley using a long putter, the one guy I can think of is Scott McCarron (a clown for calling Phil a cheater in 2010) who had been a terrible putter before switching, everyone else was older. Like a lot of older guys, Vijay used it in his 40s to steady his putting nerves, although tee to green he was a better player than in his 30s. When guys in their 20s started putting with the long putter it became a little ridiculous
This first win was when I became a Spieth fan. Video cut the best part when Spieth realized he was in a playoff. Kind words then about Jordan now CBS loves to trash the guy. Dottie Pepper should not be on CBS golf coverage. Worst most bias person.
how about shouting fore?
in my opinion pizza is better than starbursts
back then, they all wore straight and loose pants, now? all tight and slim
?
This was actually painful to watch. They all made bad shots and missed wide open opportunities. Glad Jordan won it though
y does Jordan look like adolf?
That hair loss at 19 lol 😂
Looks and acts just like 30 year old Jordan.
bruh david's putting is so bad
Jordan looks the same. Michael...not so.
Biggest teeth ive seen in my life
if only jordan had this swing now. His new swing is awful
Worked pretty well 3 days ago lol he won the RBC Heritage with fabulous iron shots and ball striking.
Man this is so a beautiful sport but filled with absolute cringe people.
How stupid must the commentater at the end feel Because Tiger Woods won when he was 18 so he’s not the first one to win a PGA tour event since the guy he said from 1931 he’s the first teenager to win and event in the PGA tour since Tiger Woods that’s the correct answer because this guy is implying that the teenagers the first want to do it since the guy did a 1931 which tiger has already done this in so he’s the first since Tiger Woods get your facts straight and there better not be anything like that on some record book put wrongly
Wood's first win was in 1996 at the Las Vegas Invitational. He was 20 years old.
How are you gonna say they’re stupid when you don’t have your facts straight.
@seanchandler you must be a big tiger fan
you are a babbling idiot
Please learn how to use punctuation my guy.
