Yeah I’m surprised how good the women’s kits look. The Men’s are based from kits from the 1800s so they have a more simple classic look while the women’s looks modern
I’m a canadian soccer fan and when I tell you my jaw dropped when I saw the female jerseys. Like I WISH the men’s team had a jersey this good. I can also say because of that jersey it made me interested in the woman’s world cup and I will be watching and cheering for my girl 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

How to make a banging white shirt for Maqwell:
Step 1 - Be Vietnam
Step 2: Have some interesting pattern across the collar as well as the sleeves. It‘s simple as that.
Step 3: abort Step 2 if you think the interesting pattern should be triangles that point away from the collar
Step 4: Another option to step 2 and 3, add interesting patterns and colours to collars and cuffs.

The NZ feather is the silver fern. and as for the Blue, Football kits in the past could not wear solid black because that colour was reserved for referees so the NZ away colour used to be Blue, and White wear the home colours so I guess they blend the 2?
So that explains why their kit in the 2006 FFWC video game was a blue one. Good to know 👍

I'm not extremely familiar with womens football, but I thought that this one would be fun (and also ireland qualified) so I think it would be really cool if you did a rundown of each time like you're doing with men's qualifying.
Maybe point out star players or how each team plays.
I would appreciate it a lot 'cuz it would save me the time to research each team in detail, along side being good content.

One thing I appreciate Adidas for is that for every world cup since 2018 there seems to be a theme for the kits
2018 was going retro with the Telstar ball and the throwback kits
2019 was remix with Germany,Spain,Sweden and Japan adding or distorting something about the 2018 kits
2022 being completely new designs without any nods to the past perhaps cuz of the exposure of the world cup to a new region
2023 being nature based presumably because of the hosts and their history of using nature based motifs
to sum up each in a word for each, 2018: Remake, 2019:Remix , 2022:New , 2023:Nature
i think its really awesome how much interesting artistic ideas and designs are starting to go into kits these days. as a member of the Nigerian diaspora i remember when we got our kit redesign a few years ago and how exciting it was to see such a fashion statement. it's gonna be awesome seeing other teams get the same in the future
In a group with usa, Netherlands and a improving Portugal, Vietnam was a very difficult job if they want to get out of the group stage.
Don't kep up much with women's football alot. But from what I heard they can partially be relieved, as the Netherlands is missing a very key player due to an injury. So there's always a chance!

Hey mate, the reason the New Zealand women's shorts and trim are blue is because the players requested to move away from our traditional 'white' due to period anxiety. Definitely an understandable reason, was a bit shocked by the choice of electric blue but hey it looks nice

1:35 The reason New Zealand changed from white to blue shorts was due to period anxiety, which is a pretty big issue for women athletes. The men's team, known as the All Whites, still wear all white.
oh wow, good to know that this was changed. sportwomen have been made to wear white shorts for far too long across many sports, even despite voicing their discomfort (see: the crazy Wimbledon rules before they were changed)

I really like the French home jersey at 13:02. It looks more blue on RUclips but on TV it looked periwinkle. It’s a very pretty color!
The triangles are supposed to be there so they stretch when you put on the shirt without damaging the rest

Most likely it is just gonna be football enjoyers from countries with crappy national teams because most don't want to invest in the woman's team when it would hardly bring in any cash, if these big leagues have to use money from the men's league just to fund the women's league, there is a problem. As well as the fact you are guaranteed to fall asleep while watching.
@@ziy.z0 if you think there is an unjust use of finances in the women’s game then fair enough, that’s a valid reason to dislike it. I actually do think a lot of fans of the game will be watching though. Mainly because there is literally no football on at the moment, and if you’re like me and you watch football all week long you’d be having major withdrawals right now. As someone living in Australia I’ll go to some games with some friends and have a good time 👍🏼

@@s14redd89 altough 🇮🇩 women's national team are bad and no league, we have qualified for the Asian Cup back in 2022 while Asian Cup 2022 in India was the qualifying campaign for this upcoming World Cup in AUNZ. That is still an achievement. Soon 🇮🇩 national team can play in the Women's World Cup too when we hired coach for our WNT from Japan. I hope US Soccer also have a partnership with PSSI too for women's soccer developement, same as JFA do.
