Loving these slow mo videos Sylvie..If possible do one of Dieselnoi's knees:)
I plan to do one of Dieselnoi's knees, if his health keeps up. I've shot Langsuan's knees on the bag, and Silapithai's teep on the bag too. I hope to create a mini-library of these definitive slo-mo techniques to add to the archive project.
Awesome! Thanks
Everything about his cut is mean AF. The jump-to-pivot is enough to telegraph something that isn't coming, he LAUNCHES his hips, and that hunch/lean sets up some evil angles. Truly slick.
Incredible balance
He pivots as if tracking an opponent and then attacks a target well to his left, is this demonstration meant to be ortho vs south paw?
It's best for mixed stances, you can watch the whole fight vs the left Dokmaibaa, in which he uses it repeatedly ruclips.net/video/v9n7F8zE-nQ/видео.html
Thank you.
I found this kinda of relaxing.

seeing him do that kick in shadow is INSANE - the CONTROL!
How does this differ from a good commited low kick? I feel like this is how i was taught to low kick but I could be being a doofus
Incredibly beautiful! Thank you for posting and he for all the training that it took to develop such grace.
Definitely needs another session with commentary like the first one. I could watch him teach all day and i remember watching the full one and trying out somethings in shadow that just felt so right immediately and trying them in sparring was able to use extremely early and felt like it was so simple it was genius and you want to facepalm yourself and say "why didnt i think of that?!?" Lol
I'll try to start putting together a 2nd Burklerk session. I agree. He has a muay that is really like no other. So beautiful, but also so logical.
yes sir watching this more than I've ever been to church
Great video as always Sylvie Does Arjarn Burkelerk Still have 2 gyms. I tried to catch him in Lampang A while ago but he wasn't around.
The Fight Story he still had the gym in Lampang. Maybe he was abroad doing seminars when gou happened to stop by.
Oo ok thanks again

This is really nice to watch!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
i love these videos Sylvie
more leg for the legacy :D
Beautiful!
Anyone know the differences in the performance of a low kick and an cut kick, if any?
Thanks🙏
In the last clips from the fight he seems to primarily use them as a counter and/or disrupting the opponents balance.
To me, it looks like the difference is to move into a way lower stance with a thorough guard arm front of head/face, and utilize your forward momentum even more than in a regular low kick. Also, timing should be important if you're looking to target the opponents supporting leg when he/she is midway into kicking, especially with high kicks.
He doesn't seem to set the kick up with any type of punch/hand feign with implies that he's using it primarily as a defensive counter, and not to be first into an exchange.
Koettnylle Thank you so much🙏
Nice observations. Importantly, this kind of kick works best in mixed stances, Orthodox versus Southpaw (for either fighter). Your power leg has a strong clear target to the standing leg.
Good point. Would you say that this is doable when both fighters are fighting from a similar stance, by doing a stance switch step forward and outside the opponents lead leg? Or would that be a too big or obvious move? (I hope i made sense here, haha...)
sure, it's doable. You don't even really have to switch step if you practice a snappy lead leg kick. Arjan sometimes hooks with the foot a little on this. In the full fight you can see him attacking the standing leg from the Southpaw stance which he just happened to find himself in for a moment.
That is a very graceful depiction of a horrific kick to the balls!
