I like how Ash and Mike spend half their first game with these war bands saying, "Oh, I didn't realize my guys could do that?! I'll have to remember next time."

Probably my most favorite warcry kit in a while, just expect to do some gap filling on the Mawpit, that was the most troublesome GW assembly I've had since finecast. Something got messed up with the CAD or something, sounds like no one's pieces are lining up well with that piece, you can even see gaps on the skull and base in this video
First of all, pumped up to see these warbands on the channel! Not sure if it's my headphones but the audio seems "dampened" or "flattened" somehow...but swallowing and breathing are louder than they used to be? Maybe new mics? Either way, thanks for sharing.
New tech work-in problems! Yeah, gain was a bit too high, it was set to have them record directly to the mic itself, which is uncompressed, but i had it line-in to the camera which made it SUPER sensitive. But perfection is the enemy of the good... so we roll that up into learning for the next one. hahaha
Mmmm! Warcry Battle Reps of this quality and somewhat regular release are rare on RUclips. I really like the banter between you 2, that gives it a Game store vibe. Wonderful.
Running only 5 units is really hard, especially in any kind of objective mission. If it's a friendly, consider picking a mission that'd be a better fight. Alternatively, take 4 ogres and use the extra points on 2-3 less expensive units. Stormcast at 6 models struggle in objective missions.. So ogres with thin skin will b rough in those scenarios..
Man GW really botched the molding for the Mawpit, both the pit and the skull platform couldn't fit properly and had massive gap. One of the worst kit from GW in recent year. Also the Abralester can't use Hunter's eye.
warcry is such a simple and fast game. the ideal intro wargame to new people. but scenarios and objectives are not balanced at all and for me, this makes it unplayable beyond as a demo game for new people.

5 super elite models will always struggle. You just need more bodies. That said, I always play small modle count bands in warcry.
You should try the gorgers vs the skinks, just for laughs.
