Thanks for this helpful video! I’m struggling to figure out how to get a door level - when closed one side looks higher than the other so the gap is uneven 🤔 Any tips?
You need to use a forstner drill bit the same diameter a drill a new hole at the right height. Usually your integrated washing machine should come supplied with a template/guide to position the new hole. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching 👍
Sounds like you need to move the door/hinge towards you. Sometimes if it's too tight to the unit it won't close. Make sure all hinges are adjusted the same so they arent working against each other. Also doors can warp over time so you may have a door with a slight curve in it. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
Undo the screws I loosened at the start of the video right the way out. Some hinges are quick release and allow you to remove the hinge by pushing a button at the back.
Thanks but WHY do n one of this hinge adjusting vids EVER discuss what to do when one or two of the doors do NOT close all the way?! They hang about 1/2" OPEN -- and no one teaches how to FIX that!
I'm gonna have to rebore for height, it won't go any higher... That will be fun 🙄, I didn't do it... A "friend" of mine did it in my mother's house, we're both chippys... I wasn't around 🙈 yaaaaaaaaaaay 😪😂

If integrated washing machine holes are different hight to the cupboard door how do you change the hinge hight on cupboard door
You need to use a forstner drill bit the same diameter a drill a new hole at the right height. Usually your integrated washing machine should come supplied with a template/guide to position the new hole. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching 👍
Ta-ta.... Thanks for the hints
Thank you. One of the doors on my new cabinet is too high, but the adjustment suggested does not work. Any tips?
Not sure sorry, maybe have a fiddle around with the screws or other option is to replace the hinges for some new improved ones. Best of luck with it!
Looking at a door, how do you diagnose which screws need adjustment?
Just wanted to say thanks! Saved my ass here : )
No problem 👍
Thanks

What if the doors staying open and not close flush ?
Sounds like you need to move the door/hinge towards you. Sometimes if it's too tight to the unit it won't close. Make sure all hinges are adjusted the same so they arent working against each other. Also doors can warp over time so you may have a door with a slight curve in it. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
I am trying to get two cupboard doors to close. What am I doing wrong?
My cupboard door keeps automatically swinging close, which is pretty annoying. I guess the level adjustment is what I would need?
Yes. Sounds like it is on a slope almost. Maybe a few adjustments might do the trick. Given this is a year old post you've prob fixed it by now! 🤣
How do you take the door off completely
Undo the screws I loosened at the start of the video right the way out. Some hinges are quick release and allow you to remove the hinge by pushing a button at the back.
Light bulb moment 😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks for watching.
Has the loft job burnt down
Still there last time I looked!
Thanks but WHY do n one of this hinge adjusting vids EVER discuss what to do when one or two of the doors do NOT close all the way?! They hang about 1/2" OPEN -- and no one teaches how to FIX that!
Adjust the hinge as shown in the video to slide out. Your doors are to tight to the unit. Hope that helps.
I'm gonna have to rebore for height, it won't go any higher... That will be fun 🙄, I didn't do it... A "friend" of mine did it in my mother's house, we're both chippys... I wasn't around 🙈 yaaaaaaaaaaay 😪😂
Hope it went well!
