The 31st Street bridge starting on Kostner Ave in Chicago and ending in Cicero Ave in the town of Cicero is an area that neither the Town of Cicero nor the City of Chicago regularly patrol or maintain. In recent years, many unfortunate men and women have reclaimed it. Drug and alcohol usage in and around the bridge is a common occurrence.
Cicero Police Department officers were seen searching the wooded area along the side of the bridge. Cicero Fire Department transported an individual via ambulance to a local hospital.
