2020 Honda City MEGA Fuel Economy Run || Petrol Manual vs Petrol CVT Automatic vs Diesel Manual BS6

- In our latest video, we do a mileage test of all three new Honda City models. These include the 1.5 petrol manual, 1.5 petrol CVT automatic and the 1.5 litre diesel manual. The ARAI certified efficiency of these models are:
Petrol MT : 17.8 kmpl
Petrol CVT : 18.4 kmpl
Diesel MT : 24.1 kmpl
The 175km run was done in mixed driving conditions and all three drivers, Bunny Punia, Jatin Jhamb and Nitin Kadian swapped cars every 50-60km.

Indeed underrated and a very well made video, special shoutout to the camera work. With this we can estimate about around 16kmpl for the petrol manual with AC in summers within the city traffic I suppose. Could be a bit lower too with full capacity.

Okay! This was a very different video. I really liked it. It was kinda fun watching it. The mileage figures are actually hard to believe. If you do a test in the city conditions with traffic, I'm sure it won't give more than 13 with the AC on. The mileage is unbelievable and the video is amazing.

Bunny I remember your diesel Honda city drive wery well on Yamuna expressway... What a mileage you achieved....44 kmpl... That was mind-blowing.. Today I. Drove my Honda city cvt 2017 for atleast 100 Kms in medium traffic to less traffic.. It achieved more than 24 almost and when I finally stopped it was 22.9 kmpl..speed was 50 In city to 85 on expressway ...
I don't think the results displayed on Digital screen were accurate, for me they always differ from the reality! , What's your view on this?
@@justiceleague3208 I have a petrol cvt and there can be a variation of 0.5 to 0.9 max. Happened twice in 4 years else it was mostly accurate maybe 0.2-0.5 higher. ..but it never showed lower than actual reading tank to tank

I have 2017 Honda city Diesel car and it is giving me average of 24 in tough condition . On highway With help of cruise control on average Speer of 65 I always get average of 34.

True. I also get same on the 2019 Amaze which has the same engine. Nvh is very poor though.

@@sharaddongre8996 more like 85-95...i hVe cruise control so i set it at 90 or 95 max... No point going beyond 100..it won't give you that mileage that it would at 90 or even 95 at times depending on how smooth that straight road is... At times during a long straight stretch especially on Yamuna expressway it has given 23-25

Mine is a 5th gen petrol MT zx city. Im getting 13 kmpl in city and 18 kmpl in highway. Odo; 1800 kms

That’s the beauty of Diesel engines where it gives performance with better fuel efficiency compared to Petrol engines. But these days maintaining a Diesel engine in some cities like Delhi is a brave thing.
But its also 2 lkhs more compared to petrol

But this is made in winters of Delhi. So AC is not switched on.
Expect 3-4 kmpl Lower than the final result in this video to get the real fuel economy in summers. Because in India Summers are longer than winters.
Really it is amazing, to see the test drive for fuel consumption. I will go for Petrol CVT.

My Honda city 2017 model gives me 8-9 km/liter petrol in city and 13-14 on highways in summers. Crazy numbers in these new Citys or video is showing

We went to a trip to Netarhat, Jharkhand from Kolkata. This was the first time we took our New Honda city (Manual version) on the highways. We got a mileage of 17kmpl! In city traffic, after 5 months, it's currently giving 12-13kmpl.

For 117 kilometres I got 17 klm per litre on an avg speed of 35klmh with 4 people boarded. (Including me).

My City ivtec petrol manual is giving 16-17 on highway because roads in my state/district are on construction..
The highest mileage I got was 22.1kmpl
