Somehow I never made that connection before. Now I now why the one-armed man was so calm when confronted with all the cops in his home - he's a great actor!
If you think “Firefly” was good but too short, you'll love “Babylon 5”. It's better written and runs 110 episodes with a total run time of about 80 hours and 20 minutes. Plus 3 movies that fill in back story information.
Dawn the parade scene in Chicago was during St.Patrick’s Day Parade. They asked Chicago to do a parade scene and said that would be too many blocks being blocked off and said no. So they waited for the St.Patrick’s Day and filmed for it for free and got away with it. Every year of St.Patrick’s Day in Chicago they color it green. It is safe for the water and fishes. I used to live in Chicago area
No one is going to call the police about hairs in the sink. "911, what's your emergency" "There's some hair in a patients sink. Send police, firefighters, a swat team, the bomb squad". Somebody sees that in the hospital, sure they're going to wonder about it, but figure it could be a doctor, intern, a nurse, didn't take time to shave that morning so did it there, or maybe even someone shaved a patient and dumped it in the sink rather than cleaning it up. Most likely it would be found by janitors who will just clean it up and move on to the next room. No one is going to think it's a crime.
I know! some of the simplest jokes and things zip right over her head, she will be asking, "What happened there? Why did they do that?", even though it was explained just moments before, yet no matter how convoluted, complicated and twisted the main plot goes, she will be spelling it out in the first 15 minutes of the movie. She is hilarious and I love her reactions.
I love the realism of the 90s movies, because they were filmed in a real way (the train scene is real, it has no CGI, no miniatures, it's 100% real), or else they used practical effects that were much better and more realistic than the current CGI.
aaah.... actually..... in the creation of the train wreck scene, there was the use of train models, computerization, and actual train footage. if you watch it over and over, you will see the differences and see how the different medias were edited together.
23:05 The scene where Kimble finds out over the phone that one of the men on his list of one armed men is in prison for ARMED robbery always makes me smile.

Tommy Lee Jones was so good in this, they wrote a whole other movie just so he could play the same character - "US Marshals". He also has a very different role but a (sort of) similar plot in "The Hunted"
Good film! Also enjoyed the original Television series as a kid. David Janson played Kimbel. It went 5 seasons, I think. It was the first series with an actual ending that I seen back then. That was rare for shows at that time. Had to wait 5 years for Kimbel to catch up to the one armed man.
I only really learned of the premise from an episode of "The Gary Shandling Show" where the guy who played Dr Kimbel appeared. I think that was around 1988 or so.
yeah, as a child I was so blessed to have seen the tv series this movie was made from. each week David Jansen would go to a different city looking for a man with one arm and avoid the police.
One of my favorite Harrison Ford movies ever made! Nominated for 6 Oscars including Best Picture but won for Best Supporting Actor Tommy Lee Jones. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Alec Baldwin, Mel Gibson, Richard Gere, Charlie Sheen, Richard Dreyfuss, Michael Douglas, and Tom Cruise were considered for Richard Kimble. Jon Voight and Gene Hackman were considered for US Marshall Sam Gerrard.
There's a sequel called "U.S. Marshals". Ford wasn't in it. Just Tommy Lee Jones, Wesley Snipes, and Robert Downey Jr. They filmed part of it at Reelfoot Lake, in Tennessee, 30 miles north of my home town. They were filming in the swamp. They rented a lake-side cabin for TLJ and the owner's bass boat. Every morning, when he got ready to start filming, he got in the boat and drove it a few miles, to where they were shooting , that day. They rented a mansion, that was being renovated, in my home town, for Snipes and Robert Downey. They hired a body guard to keep an eye on Robert Downey Jr. Not to protect him, he was into drugs at the time, and they wanted to be sure he couldn't hook up with a dealer.
29:45 "Wait. How long has this been going on?" They don't show an exact timeline. It seems Dr. Kimble was running after he escaped for only a few days but might have been a few weeks, hard to say. The trial didn't take long. Probably only a few days at most. Tons of evidence including his wife telling 911 "Richard. He's trying to kill me." But he was probably in jail for 1-2 years after his arrest waiting for his trial. The U.S. court systems are fairly overbooked so you have to wait a while for the trial.
They filmed the St. Patrick's Day parade scene during the actual parade in Chicago. I always enjoy seeing the people in the parade smiling because Harrison Ford is in their parade.
The reporter at the start is John "Bulldog" Drummond, he was a local Chicago reporter for over 40 years. In the later news conference he is joined by Pam Zekman, Jay Levine and a much younger Lester Holt (now the national anchor at NBC) all got their starts reporting news in Chicago. Tommy Lee earning his Oscar!
And my family and I sat watching Dr. Kimble's case come to a most gratifying conclusion on TV. Most of the country stayed home to see the series finale. A memorable evening, to be sure.
I highly recommend the sequel to this film, U.S. Marshals. Tommy Lee Jones(the Men In Black guy) reprises his role of Deputy United States Marshal with Wesley Snipes and Robert Downey, Jr. joining the cast. Tommy Lee Jones also won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Fugitive.
32:15 "Even if he's found innocent for the whole thing with his wife, he's surely going to get sent to prison for all the things he's doing now." It's possible. However, what he's doing now is mostly breaking and entering with a case of grand theft auto, plus a few minor misdemeanors, and a giant hefty case of escaping prison. None of that is as serious as murder. Also, since all of it was done in the name of exoneration and also finding the real criminal, it's not likely that any court will press charges. It would be a little like charging Santa Claus with breaking and entering peoples' houses. It's just bad optics. In this regard, it's a little like First Blood in the sense that Rambo committed many crimes when escaping and running from the law, just like Dr. Kimble, but in Rambo's case he committed about a dozen aggravated assaults against officers of the law, one murder, and one attempted murder, and millions of dollars of property damage. That's why Rambo goes to prison and Dr. Kimble goes free.
This is a movie based on a TV show that was based on real events. The true case is working into if you have any interest in true crime. The police made a lot of mistakes. One of which was fining a cigarette butt in the toilet despite the fact that no one in the house smoked. It proved that a third person was in the house, but the police flushed the toilet, so that was gone.
You don't need fake eyebrows or fake facial hair and a fake accent is usually so easy to spot that it makes you more memorable when you want to be less memorable. Trust me, I know. I have severe social anxiety and these are the kinds of things that I think about when I'm out in the world, always thinking about how to go un-noticed and planning escape routes lol. He did it right, pretending to be a janitor, especially in a hospital where people are used to seeing you with greying hair and a full beard; looking like a dark-haired clean-shaven "servant" type worker lets you get in the places you need and makes people not want to remember you because people you don't interact with regularly are easily forgettable, that was why Juliann Moore remembered him and went looking for him and the kid because she happened to look up and saw what was supposed to be a janitor looking at the x-rays, that was memorable to her for being unusual. His main mistake in trying to stay hidden, he responded to his own name, it's instinct and hard to resist lol. If you're hiding, and trying not to be noticed, but you get noticed yet manage to escape, you change your look again. Most quick hair dyes that you can get at stores are temp and wash out easily. It's assumed that he was retried with all the new evidence and testimony from the US Marshals that brought him in. There is a sequel, but it is a different story with a different name. It's just called US Marshals and is a sort of rehash of this one but with a twist.
I was exiting a store once, & this girl walked in & said hi to me & i was like, "uhh, hi..." ...it was my cousin & i never recognized her because she was wearing glasses & got a haircut I just stared at her 😂
Based on the old TV show in the '60s starring David Jansen, which was based on a real life murder mystery of the accused Dr. Sam Sheppard near Cleveland, OH in 1954. The old TV show used to get me worked up as Jansen was always acting guilty, and this movie worked me up also! Favorite line (and there were some good ones) , " ...I want a hard target search of every Gas Station, Residence, Warehouse, Farmhouse, Henhouse, Outhouse and Doghouse in that area!" The US Marshall Service tracks down fugitives, and they never give up - they don't conduct investigations to exonerate the falsely accused. This was a very realistic movie, and Tommy Lee Jones earned his Oscar for that performance.
Jullianne Moores character was originally supposed to have more story as a love interest. They changed it deciding that A. There was already so much story no use adding more stuff, and B. they had painted his wife and he as such a great love to have him move on so quickly for an unneccesary story.......
Always have loved this movie. This was the very first movie I got to see in a theater with a friend and no parents. Felt so "grown up". Also, I loved your epilogue! Well done.
There was an absolutely bizarre story from my home state of Tennessee. There was a local postman who could have been the identical twin of a man who committed multiple sexual assaults. The postman was arrested, convicted, and went to prison for several years until the real criminal committed sexual assault again. All of this happened before DNA was used in investigations. That is truly a nightmare story.
@@michaelw8262identical twins still have unique DNA that differentiates them. While their DNA is remarkably similar it has just enough uniqueness to tell the difference between twins. Besides that, through most if the use of DNA as evidence the results still had large enough margin for error to not he exact. Even today, DNA evidence can be thrown out of court as prisoners that have spent years or decades locked up proved that the DNA evidence and testing results weren't accurate.
Dawn spends the entire reaction trying to predict what happens next, and when the movie ends, she's all, "Noooo, I need to find out what happened next!"
You can't go wrong with Sean Connery and Harrison Ford! I think you're ready to start watching James Bond. Oh, btw, another good Harrison Ford movie you'll like: "Witness".
This movie was based on a tv series from the 1960s which was in turn based on a famous murder trial from 1954. Dr Sam Shepard, a neurosurgeon, was accused of murdering his wife, killing her with a blunt object. He was initially found guilty but later acquitted.
Harrison Ford's(80 years old) first acting role was when he was 14. He played Wally's friend Chester on the TV show Leave it to Beaver. He didn't pursue acting roles very much after that. He became a carpenter then returned to acting in his late 20's.
9:46 Some years ago I had to take some medicine in the form of a shot 3 times a week. I took it for close to a year but it just hurt so bad I couldn't do it anymore and just stopped taking it.
Since 1966, the city of Chicago has been using a vegetable-based dye. The Chicago Plumbers Union still pays to dye the river and safeguards their 60-year-old secret recipe, which is a low-impact orange powder. The powder is spread by two motorboats (one for dumping, one for stirring the water). It takes a crew of six (featuring relatives of the first families to dye the river, the Rowans and the Butlers), about 40 pounds of powder and two hours to turn the Chicago River an emerald green for four to five hours. Although it takes a couple of days for the green to completely disappear.
The train wreck scene was filmed on The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad in NC. The wrecked cars are still there and visible when riding the train out of Dillsboro, NC. The dam is Cheoah Dam in Graham County, NC.
Fun fact: the wrecked train and bus are still in the location of the crash, Bryson City asked for the wrecks to be left behind as a tourist attraction.
The other day I saw a interview with Harrison Ford on stage with many actors & directors in the audience . And as soon as he walked onto the stage , the Indiana Jones theme song goes on. He says " I'm so sick of that song !! The other day I went to have my colonoscopy done . And as soon as I walked in the song turned on !!! ". He was kidding of course 🤣🤣
What a lot of people don’t realize is that even though he is innocent of killing his wife he would still be charged, convicted, and sentenced for escaping. However the right type of judge would commute the sentence due to the circumstances. Edit: I sort of spoke too soon!
In addition, with the real killer being an ex-cop, and CPD being too eager to kill KImble (even while U.S. Marshals are in the line of fire), the idea of Kimble being both framed and railroaded would make any D.A. and any judge want to release Kimball fast, before he sues everybody.
Whadaya mean 'not happy'? The movie ending gave you everything you had hoped for. Great film. Great cast. You were aces in guessing stuff throughout. Well done.
Loved the reaction! Yes, Harrison Ford is 80. If you want to see a great movie with him, watch Blade Runner. He plays a cop in the future. I would recommend the theatrical version or the international version. It's amazing. On to the next one!
I just love the afterstory you came up with at the end 😆 In reality, he likely would have been taken back to jail (He is still a convicted fugitive, after all) and would receive a hearing where the verdict would be reversed or a new trial where he would be found not guilty. High profile murder trials take a long time, so he likely spent a year or more in jail awaiting his first trial. If the prosecutor decides to charge him for any crimes committed while he was on the run, he would probably be sentenced to "time served", so no additional prison time, but it's likely that no other charges would be brought. I like to think that he gets his position back at the hospital, and, eventually, he and the doctor played by Jane Lynch become a couple. The train crash was real. The director thought that using models or special effects wouldn't look real enough, so they actually put a bus on the tracks and run a train into it. (Harrison Ford jumping was added later) They filmed it from every angle because, of course, they could only do one take. I love that you're as big a Harrison Ford fan as I am. I think you've reacted to most of the big blockbuster movies he's been in (Did you do Air Force One? I don't recall) so you should do some of the lesser known movies. My favorite from that category is The Mosquito Coast. I also don't remember if you've done any comedies so... Sabrina, Working Girl, Hollywood Homicide, and Six Days, Seven Nights are all good.
From 1963 to 1967, there was a TV series called THE FUGITIVE, starring David Janssen as Dr Richard Kimball, in search of the one-armed man who had murdered his wife. My sister and i watched it religiously.
He (Kimble) won't go to jail. This is based on a 60s TV show in which the same thing happens and is ultimately proven to be innocent of killing his wife.
Yes, every year for 50 years or so Chicago has dyed their river green on St. Patty's day. They won't say what's on the dye, just that it's environmentally friendly.
For what it's worth, this movie received a number of Oscar nominations with Tommy Lee receiving Best Actor in a Supporting Role. It's one of my top 25 movies of all time. Nothing beats a good murder mystery mixed with a two hour chase scene.
The real life murder mystery this was based on is just as compelling; Dr. Sam Sheppard was accused of killing his pregnant wife on 04 July, 1954 and found guilty of 2nd degree murder and sentenced to Life on 21 Dec. in the midst of a media circus from day one. 12 years later F. Lee Bailey represented him at retrial, securing his freedom and propelled to fame as a criminal defense attorney. The murder remains 'unsolved'.
In the original TV show, someone would find out who he was near the end of every episode, so he would have to move on. I think he would use his medical knowledge and move on. In the news today they were looking for 3 armed robbers. They would be a lot easier to find - just check all the tailors' shops.
This is a good adaptation of a TV show that ran for several years. They managed to hit all the right points even up to Dr Kimble stopping at his own expense to save someone's life which happened in almost every episode. And yes Dr Kimball is cleared of all his crimes and goes on to live a happy life. The TV show said so. 23:19 it's an annual Chicago tradition. The green dye was used to find leaks in pipes. Then in 1962 the plumber's union decided to dye the Chicago River. At that point in time the river was so polluted there weren't any significant amount of fish in there. And the dye is non-toxic so outside of the color it's not going to hurt the fish. Fun fact a lot of the reporters with speaking roles are actually Chicago reporters doing cameos.
Just a couple of plot holes for this one. 1. The drug trial : The reason why they broke into the Kimball house was supposedly to kill Dr. Richard Kimball right? It was because he knew that the drug he was testing on the drug trial was causing severe liver damage to the patients and the execs at the pharmaceutical company didn't want that info to go public so they needed to kill Dr. Kimball. But, why would the killer go to his house, when they knew he was at the fundraiser and he wouldn't even be home? Dr. Nichols even borrowed Kimball's car keys, so he knew Kimball wouldn't be able to leave. 🤔 2. In the real world, if a doctor had knowledge that an experimental drug was killing patients, the doctor would immediately report it to the FDA. He wouldn't just enter that kind of information into a random chat with his doctor pals. Especially with a doctor who was on the board of that very drug manufacturer ( Devlin/MacGregor ). So if Dr. Kimball would have just reported it right away, they would have been too late to try and silence Kimball and wouldn't have to kill him. And his wife wouldn't have been murdered in the first place. 🤔 3. Sooooo ..... they went through all the trouble of sending someone to his house to kill Kimball in the pursuit of tieing up loose ends, right? But they just left all the drug trial records and tissue samples at the hospital? Why the hell didn't they destroy all that evidence when they had the chance ( while Kimball was awaiting trial in prison) ??? Not exactly plot holes you can drive your car through, but still.......
Good reaction. I knew you would like this one as it's a very clever film. Some great performances all around too. Saw this when I rented it back in the day with my dad. He remembered the original tv program. The part at the dam was one of the biggest cliff-hangers in tv history.
The river is green because the City of Chicago dies the river green for St. Patrick's day. Probably not the most ecological thing to do. I'm not sure if the practice continues, as I moved away from there two decades ago. Another great reaction, Dawn. You remain my favorite. Keep the wonderfulness coming!
this was a tv series that riveted the public for 2 -3 years . done by 2 already famous actors of the time. the final episode was one of the most watched tv show up to that time.
“Is he smarter than you?” “Smarter” but didn’t remember that he lent his car to his friend who also had his keys, which provided the entirety of the evidence against him in court.
No body plays the common man better than Harrison Ford. There is a sequel which is decent. You should watch is other more serious movies like Frantic, The Jack Ryan Movies and Air Force One. Also I highly recommend The Count Of Monte Cristo 2002.
Dawn has THE best ideas about a fugitive disguising themselves to blend in: "Get a MikeTyson-style face tattoo!" or "Draw in a Grocho-style mustache&eyebrows!" Either one would make the good Doc bullet-proof as a fugitive...
Hilarious reaction for such a grim movie. You were funny up until the end and then you made me paranoid. 😂 Harrison Ford and Gene Wilder were in one of my all-time-faves; The Frisco Kid a 1979 western. Which reminds me; when are you doing Young Frankenstein!? Waiting to watch Bride Of Frankenstein first?
Im sure Harrison Ford is pretty rich, but It's well known Harrison Ford lore that when he started out he worked as a carpenter, and he was always pretty smart about not just being desperate and jumping at any acting job he could get. He has been in so many movies for decades, but he seems pretty content to just not care and do his own thing when he's not working. At some point he became a pilot, and flying planes became his hobby. It's even been in the news a couple or more times when he's crashed a plane. Supposedly he has a place Jackson Hole, Wyoming where he lives when he's not working, and he's collected his own fleet of airplanes, and then I guess when that got boring, he took up learning to fly helicopters. He's definitely made enough money in this business though.
1:32 "There were _so_ many terms that I didn't understand and I needed _subtitles_ on the _Russian_ bits." Yeah. It _baffled_ me that you actually ended up with a copy of the movie that didn't _have_ those. Their absence takes so much _away._ You know, Dawn, you ought to be able to _find_ copies of _The Hunt for Red October_ that _have_ subtitles on the Russian parts. I mean they're a regular part of the _movie._
26:17 Dawn, anytime you see the gray-haired actor on the left, Ron Dean, there’s a good chance his scenes and/or the movie he was in were filmed in Chicago and the surrounding area. He played a coach in “Rudy” which was based in South Bend, Indiana which is not too far from Chicago. He also played Andrew’s (Emilio Estevez) father in “The Breakfast Club”.
"How do they dye the Chicago River? The dye comes, ironically, in the form of an orange vegetable-based powder that's mixed by boats into the river. Two families who've volunteered to dye the river for decades - the Butlers and the Rowans - have kept the exact recipe a closely guarded secret." - This is from the Chicago Sun-Times Newspaper
You’re right except the recipe is not a closely guarded secret. The Mayor’s Office and many scientists had to confirm that the green stuff is harmful to animals or the environment.
Exciting reaction! I've never trusted one-armed men since seeing this film. 28:15 "I've seen a lot of Chicago movies." Please, Dawn, consider watching 'The Blues Brothers'. It is a very hilarious comedy set in Chicago about two very low level criminals and musicians who have to raise money (in a very short time) to stop the orphanage they grew up in from being closed down. Whilst they have 100s of cops chasing them and other people who want to kill them. It is a musical comedy and the songs in it are just absolutely fantastic, you will be singing them for years. Main stars are John Belushi and Dan Ackroyd. And the film features several of superstar singers who cameo for one song each. Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Ray Charles with Chaka Khan, John Lee Hooker, etc. You will absolutely love it - guaranteed best movie ever. ♥ 🕶 🕶
The girl from Big Lebowski is Julianne Moore. In this movie, she's not a nurse, she's a doctor. And yes, they'd make a cute couple. He's only 18 years older than her; they could make that work. He was 50 years old when he made this movie so no, he's not too old to have kids, but as somebody who is 50 years old now, i'd absolutely hate to have a newborn now; I'm too old for that kind of commitment - kudos to Dr. Kimble if he wants to have kids at that age...
Aside from Han Solo and Indiana Jones - there are a few 80s & 90s Harrison Ford films you would love - obviously The Fugitive, Witness (1985), Working Girl (1989) and Air Force One* (1997). *Make sure you turn on Russian translation subtitles for that one! Try "What Lies Beneath" (2000) with HF and Michelle Pfeiffer... maybe add that title to a poll, as it's not one of his most popular projects. If you liked the medical thriller aspect of this film Dawn, I recommend COMA from 1978 - it's got a great cast with a very young Geneviève Bujold and Michael Douglas. Then to follow it up with a modern twist on the medical thriller, THE ISLAND (2005) with Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johanssen.
"Presumed Innocent" is an excellent Harrison Ford movie, that was a huge hit in 1990. I saw "Coma" in the theatre in 78. Excellent movie! A Michael Crichton movie as well. Made me never want to be put under.
@@reesebn38 I read the book Presumed Innocent and was really looking forward to the film, but sadly was a little disappointed. Maybe I'll do a rewatch when Dawn reacts to it and be pleasanly surprised.

Tommy Lee Jones was so good in this, they wrote a whole other movie just so he could play the same character - "US Marshals". He also has a very different role but a (sort of) similar plot in "The Hunted"
That movie was solid, but not as good as this one.

For some reason I have a soft spot for Regarding Henry
Another great Harrison Ford Movie that for some reason doesn't get reactions is "Air Force One!" It's an excellent crime-drama- action movie!
No way a One-Armed Guy is gonna take out Schwarzenegger! Mel would have chewed the Guy's other Arm Off! .... I can see Hackman as Sam Gerrard!
I can't picture Arnold as a surgeon

I agree, this is your jam!😂
Imagine Dawn sitting in a leafless winter tree top in her bright yellow outfit and then the dawn comes and there are 100 cops staring up xD
29:45 "Wait. How long has this been going on?"
They don't show an exact timeline.
It seems Dr. Kimble was running after he escaped for only a few days but might have been a few weeks, hard to say.
The trial didn't take long.
Probably only a few days at most.
Tons of evidence including his wife telling 911 "Richard. He's trying to kill me."
But he was probably in jail for 1-2 years after his arrest waiting for his trial.
The U.S. court systems are fairly overbooked so you have to wait a while for the trial.
Thanks!
They filmed the St. Patrick's Day parade scene during the actual parade in Chicago. I always enjoy seeing the people in the parade smiling because Harrison Ford is in their parade.
But what about the fish?!
@@ThreadBomb The fish in the Chicago River are safe. The green dye is non-toxic.
@@ThreadBomb Oh, they dye the river blue the other 364 days of the year.
Excellent movie. This is based on a 1960s tv drama starring David Janssen, also great!
"What lies beneath" is another good Harrison Ford film. "Presumed innocent" is another great one. Lots of twists.
Tommy Lee Jones chasing a mystery and/or crime is cinematic gold no matter what film he does it in lol ;)
Dawn solved this in the first minute. "She wouldn't call and say it's an intruder if it's her husband." I never even thought about that. Lol
Yep, he had the worst lawyer ever.
She might not have known that it was her husband initially as he may have been pretending to be an intruder
@@jspettiferThe killer was unmasked the whole time.
@@redpillfreedom6692 The police don’t know that.
@jspettifer the wife knew that. The WIFE wouldn't say it was an intruder, IF it was her husband she saw.
I remember the hype for the last episode of the TV show. The one armed man!
32:15 "Even if he's found innocent for the whole thing with his wife, he's surely going to get sent to prison for all the things he's doing now."
It's possible.
I was exiting a store once, & this girl walked in & said hi to me
& i was like, "uhh, hi..."
...it was my cousin & i never recognized her because she was wearing glasses & got a haircut
I just stared at her 😂
The sequel now please, US Marshalls. Not quite as good, but what would be 😂
I liked the sequel. The Fugitive was a best picture nominee(it lost only Schindler's List) US Marshalls isn't on that level but it's good.
It's got RDJ and Wesley Snipes. It might not be as good, but it's damn good fun.
And the twist, while obvious, was fun and set up a good ending.
I can't believe no one has done US Marshall's yet for real. It's good in a different way but yeah can't match the original.
The story has been told. What do you expect? Kimble and Gerard making out?
Us marshal... unwatchable don't crash her channel lol
Dawn, I really love your positive ("almost naive/child-like") outlook on life and the happy ending you posed.
Made my day... 😊
A little to navie..can you imagine if Kimble did half the stuff Dawn said? She was to caught up in emotion.
If they were identical twins DNA evidence wouldn't have helped him.
@@michaelw8262identical twins still have unique DNA that differentiates them. While their DNA is remarkably similar it has just enough uniqueness to tell the difference between twins. Besides that, through most if the use of DNA as evidence the results still had large enough margin for error to not he exact. You can't go wrong with Sean Connery and Harrison Ford! I think you're ready to start watching James Bond. Oh, btw, another good Harrison Ford movie you'll like: "Witness".

20:20 The arm was damaged during the fight, so yes Kimble assumes he's been in to get it adjusted/repaired since the crime.
That's actually not true. His first role was as a bellboy in "Dead Heat on a Merry-Go-Round" with James Coburn.

I don't think he would be charged. Why would a prosecutor want to spend time on that?
@@cavemancell3562If he was charged, likely no jury would convict him.
@cavemancell3562 1- It's a guaranteed conviction on their record.
2- So they don't set a legal precedent that is used by a later convict/lawyer.
It's a tradition for Chicago to dye the Chicago River green for St. Patrick's Day. They use a vegetable dye, so the fish are fine.
Considering everything Kimble put him thru. He’s not uncuffing him if he’s going to jail
Whadaya mean 'not happy'? The movie ending gave you everything you had hoped for. Great film. Great cast. You were aces in guessing stuff throughout. Well done.
Watching your reactions is like watching my little cousin watch movies. It's just so much fun.
Just noticed Dawn lives in Peterhead. That's just too funny... Peterhead.
Loved the reaction! Yes, Harrison Ford is 80. If you want to see a great movie with him, watch Blade Runner. He plays a cop in the future. I would recommend the theatrical version or the international version. It's amazing. On to the next one!
He also played a cop in 'Witness'.
I just love the afterstory you came up with at the end 😆
In reality, he likely would have been taken back to jail (He is still a convicted fugitive, after all) and would receive a hearing where the verdict would be reversed or a new trial where he would be found not guilty.
I saw this in the movie theatre with my Mom!❤ and the way you figure out plot points with so much quirky humor sprinkled in is the best

Harrison Ford turns 81 years old this coming Thursday, July 13th. He has the same birthday as Patrick Stewart.....and ME!

Hilarious reaction for such a grim movie. You were funny up until the end and then you made me paranoid. 😂 Harrison Ford and Gene Wilder were in one of my all-time-faves; The Frisco Kid a 1979 western. Heck, yeah. I love "THE FRISCO KID"! Gene Wilder is incredible in that one, as well as in "YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN". Good call.
Yes, yes, yes!!! The Frisco Kid! So-o-o underrated.
If the script writers listen to you young lady he would be living his life on top of a tree looking like Groucho Marx ... hilarious 😅

The green river in Chicago is a long tradition on St Patrick's Day.
Dr Kimble must have had the same lawyer as Andy Dufrane
I had to laugh whenever Dawn was recommending his disguise, glasses, fake moustache, and eyebrows - so a Groucho Marx mask?

He was 50 years old when he made this movie so no, he's not too old to have kids, but as somebody who is 50 years old now, i'd absolutely hate to have a newborn now; I'm too old for that kind of commitment - kudos to Dr. Kimble if he wants to have kids at that age...
Heard/read that Harrison was a carpenter that got noticed working on a set and thats how he began was it Star Wars?

You should also watch Working Girl (1988) which is one of the few romantic comedies Harrison has been in.
