I used 243 all the time. If somebody doesn't want to switch layout and can't consume pure gold fast (you'll get a lot of pure gold from quests and dailies and stuff), you can just let your 4 factory be 3 EXP:1 Pure Gold (because of the 3 pure gold expert, Gravel, Haze and Spot [Not yet available for EN, I think] combo, easily 90% boost and its hard to fit all EXP factory with high productivity bonus operators. But you can go 4 EXP: 0 Pure Gold for sure). And when the Pure Gold is down to like 10 or 20 (I like to be 20), you can switch your factory back to 2 EXP: 2 Pure Gold. Not a huge loss compared with switching, and much convenient for casual players IMO. To add, trading post is easier to stack efficiencies, so most of the time, the trading post will consume faster than factory (maybe the basic efficiency is also different, I am not sure).
Others suggest starting off with 252 and then later on switching to 243 so you can max your right-side rooms (you get back the base materials except the drones when downgrading) 252 is only slightly higher income compared to 243 supposedly and the cost of being unable to max your right-side rooms with 252 is not worth the slightly higher income
In comparison with 2-4-3. 2-5-2 adds up a lot in a month. (about 13k EXP per day = 390k Exp in 30 days) Be aware that 1.5 Strategical & 2 Tactical record (Equivalent of 5000 EXP, 6000 with the blue record)) takes 30 Sanity points. So realistically, you save up quite an amount of sanity points for farming other resources. Lazily calculating; you save 60 sanity per day.

3 weeks old, sure you've gotten it by now but just in case anyone new has the same problem >.> Swapping in tanks helps a lot if you have a good source of healing as well. Even the 2 star tank at lvl 30 can do pretty good if you have a good healer constantly giving him heals. so just swap your 2 vanguard/guard with 2 defenders and make sure you have a medic on both sides, that way your casters and just lay into the axe guys while the tanks don't die! I recommend getting the 2 star tank to lvl 30 and Cartigan to at least e0 max lvl for stats. Make sure you time Cartigan's heal as well!

when your gold bar amount is HIGH, you switch to more trading post (more trade post = faster gold conversion). do it until you deplete your gold bar (until LOW amount). after that, change it back to factory.

252 just means you have 2 trade posts, 5 factories, and 2 power plants. You should only need the control center to be at 3.0 for this. 4.0 and 5.0, if I'm remembering right, just allow you to have lvl 4 and 5 dormitories, unlocking floors, and unlocking more slots for operators in the control center. The issue with this one is that you can't upgrade your buildings that much, though I don't know the exact extent of this.
Personally I think it's the most underutilized build out there especially when you don't have the right side upgraded. It allows for massive money production while still allowing you to get some exp.
So this means that you gonna need to pour a lot of L.M.D and Battle Records just for E2 on a single Operator... It's grindy... I mean, challenging but I think, when it comes to your beloved waifus, it's really worth it
its better to level up your team as a whole.. not prioritize any (because in battles, your strategy involves everyone in your team.. not just one.. will limit your strategy tragically)

I use 3-3-3 cuz I have no idea on what resource I should focus on and am maintaining a balance.
3 trading/3 factory.. you can only produce gold bars for LMD.. no room for exp tickets (which saves sanity-usage spamming LS stages)
