Beautiful car. For the overheating there exists a TROPICAL radiator fan that has 6 fatter blades. For the seats try to get the 1968 or 69 version with the headrests for safety. The beige vinyl covers were very popular , i have an extra set . I live in Canada but my 122- 65 comes from California .. very little rust and i have modified it to 1968 specs =collapsible steering, rad overflow , rear 3 pt seat belts, 4 wheel dual line power brakes , wagon wide rims and j type overdrive. You are correct the overdrive makes all the difference.. Keep on rolling .
We have a couple of stores in sweden that stock parts for the Amazon. Vp-autoparts. Cvi automotive and a few more. The thing on the front bumper is called america bow over here. The headlights was standard on earlier versions and on the police cars. They actually came from a train. The grille is also from an earlier model but much nicer i think. Great buy there 👍👍
Thanks for all your nice comments. I like the front grill also I have the original but think I will keep it the way it is. Let’s keep them on the road. 😎
I would kill for one of those, theyre aloust all gone in sweden, the price fdor one is redicoulus, even a regular amazon are getting expensive. I remember when i was young, like in the 89.s, they where very cheap so a lot of them went to the junkyard. Guess it would be easyer to find a wagon in the US
Nice 4 door Amazon Wagon👍☝️👌👌☝️👍
Nice car. great find. I just inherited a 1966 122s sedan. I am not sure where to start to refurbish it. Good luck with this. love these cars.
