      My pleasure my friend. I'm glad these videos are still helpful, they took me ages to make and I really feel the effort paid off when I get messages like yours. I know my vids aren't the greatest in production quality (working on that) but I tried to put a lot of content that I hope would be useful, into them. So I hope that comes across.
      The Max is a great projector and just so convenient to move around. All the best with it and thanks again.

    Thanks so much, I currently have a nebula capsule but there's an offer online for the capsule II, and capsule Max. The price between the 2 is £50. After reviewing 3 of your videos I've opted for the capsule max. This is mainly due to the capsule II not having the mouse button. Thanks again!

      That's awesome, I'm so glad my video's have helped you.
      One thing I forgot to mention in the MAX vs II video( although I wrote about it after in the comments section) is that the Max also has vertical and horizontal key-stoning, whereas the the Capsule II only has vertical, which means you can actually project from an angle rather than directly in front of it and still have a straight image, for example if you wanted to put the projector in the corner of the room but have the image projected into the middle of the wall, it definitely comes in handy!
      Another tip, if you use the website camelcamelcamel you can actually track the price of products sold on amazon and can see the trends of when the prices go up and down. Definitely a useful site when buying substantial products.
      Let me know how you get on and if you have any further questions. and thanks again for watching and commenting!

      @@ceezsees3471 great news! My Capsule is charging (based on the power bank charge capacity reducing) and I was able to briefly turn on and see light output. Just for any other Capsule owners that may come looking here, the light in the back did not turn on - yet. When I pressed the power button on the top the battery level warning was projected and I could hear what sounded like a fan then the unit shut down. I’m going to leave to charge longer. The USB A port on my power bank is rated for auto-selection and can provide 9V at up to 2A as required by the Capsule. Thanks again for your help.

      I have been looking at the Samsung Freestyle as an upgrade/alternative but it doesn't come with a built in battery although you can hook it up to an external one which they have or any other external battery, maybe this is a better solution to not have an non user able replacement battery.
      How often did you use your capsule? When did you notice the battery degrading? Can it no longer work with the plug?

    What size battery bank you using and how much time you get out of this in standard settings of video play time with alone with out the battery bank and also then how much extra play time with the charger

    • @ceezsees3471
      @ceezsees3471  2 года назад

      Hi Gary I think I've answered your question elsewhere but anyway, the capacity of the battery in the Capsule Max is 9700mAh and I have manage to watch a long movie like Lord of the Rings or The Last Samurai on auto brightness/standard settings with a bit of battery left over at the end using it's own build in battery.
      The portable battery which I use in this video which doesn't have a PD port as its a bit older, is 20000mAh, so I can charge my Capsule 2 and a bit times. So all in, that's 10-ish hours. So if you use the Nebula Capsule with the battery plugged in you'll also get similar time.
      But as I mentioned my battery is pretty old now so you could easily get a bigger capacity battery with a smaller physical size which would work even longer, just make sure you get the PD port on it. My battery is made by Anker, which you can find on Amazon, I think they are a great brand and worth looking into.

    • @ceezsees3471
      @ceezsees3471  8 месяцев назад +1

      Not sure if I understand your question, but yes any external battery will in theory extend the run time of the projector. Ideally you would get a battery with a larger capacity than the projectors internal battery so it can charge up the projector more than once.

      I couldn't say 100% for sure, but I guess it's just like using a laptop plugged in all the time. I only charge it or plug it in when needed and never just leave it plugged in. If I charge it before going to bed like I do with my phone, I'll definitely unplug it in the morning.

    Thanks a lot! Seems like a great solution. Just one question. Anker says the Max requires 15V/5A input, but this plug when plugged into a regular USB charger into a wall socket can deliver 20V/5A, won't that fry the capsule max by giving 5V too much??

    • @ceezsees3471
      @ceezsees3471  2 года назад +3

      Hi Noor, thanks for the question. I'm by no means an electronic specialist, so please just take my opinion as such, but from my understanding of studying the product description, this adapter can deliver a variety of outputs UP TO a maximum of 20V/5A. The chipset within the adapter is able to regulate this.
      Considering that PD chargers give a higher output rate than 'regular' USB chargers, hence why the Capsule Max doesn't even register it being charged if I plug into it whilst it's off (using a 'regular portable battery or USB charger), I think that it's all okay.
      As I've mentioned in the video, I've had this adapter for a few days now and have charged the Capsule Max a few times, whilst watching something or even when it's off (like I've shown in the video). I even have it plugged in now and it's charging absolutely fine. There are even a few reviews on that Amazon link I've included in the video description of people using it for their Capsule Max's too. I only found out about the adapter from doing searches for USB charing solutions for the Capsule Max, although I can't remember what thread I read that on.
      All in all I'm really happy with the adapter and despite having now bought ALL of the Nebula Capsule models!!! ( what was I thinking!) I'm happy with the Max, although I much prefer the size of the Capsule 1, I think the Max with this charging adapter is the best overall package now.
      So as I said I'm not an electronic specialist, so let me know your thought's or if anyone else has some electronic knowledge please chime in, as the last thing I would want to do is fry my projector after stupidly spending all this time and money or even worse, someone fry their's based on this video! lol.
      But jokes aside, it seems to be working great.
      Thanks

      Your power bank is about 15w. Try to get one of the new powerbanks that are rated 45w and above (output 15v/3a) and you’ll see that the nebula start to charge like if is from its original wall charger. You had that glitch in the nebula because your power bank didn’t have the enough wattage. If you have any doubt we’re to find them , you search them in Amazon : for example power bank 65w for example.
