He may be talking about grande facelift suspension it is firm and stiffer than previous corollas to improve road grip and because of low profile tyres as I have it.
Grande is not just better than civic on the road performance but differ from it in lot of things . Grande dominates in a way that it has paddle shifters , the sports mode, triptonic transmission , better ground clearance, very organized engine bay unlike the civic. New grande also comes with the smart toyota connect app which is very effective whereas civic comes with an outdated kind of display. Although grande doesnot have the smart digital speedometer but it is dominating civic since a very long time and is more value to money

Recently switched from Toyota to Honda, both cars have different driving pleasures & both cars are good. This is totally depend on users preferences and choices that which car he finds perfect. As per my experience, honda is good over toyota in interior design, stability, driving & exterior look, fuel average is +/- same of both.

This man is the literal definition of a Honda Lover, although do agree with him that civic X has more features than corolla but he is wrong in everything else. I myself have a 2023 civic rs and grande 2018 and can confirm that grande has the better more softer suspension and better fuel average my grande give around 12 to 14 in city and 16 on motorway whereas civic rs doesnt go above 12 in city. Another thing he is incorrect is that turbo and oriel civic have different suspension which is false in every aspect. Honda did change the suspension for civic x rs in 2019 in facelift but pre-facelift the suspension was 100% same and another surprising thing is of AC and it is well known that Toyota has always had better air conditioning than corolla. His verdict about built quality is also completely false and civic X especially early cars were known for there terrible built quality hence known as shappar however any corolla and grande can attest to this that Toyota has better build quality than Honda eventhough I admit that Honda has much improved it's build quality in 11th gen civic. In the end this perosn has represented civic in a false sense to some extent I urge the viewers here to not take all his remarks on civic and toyota seriously and @PakWheels should work on screening people for owner's review and not let any idiot give such reviews to misguide people.
