    • @HBK970
      @HBK970 Год назад +2

      It's because it's possible that the NBA and other sports are scripted and there are magnets in the baskets. Just think of the kind of ratings boost this game/series gave and now people will want to watch the next playoffs. Also, it helps make basketball more popular in Canada which is traditionally known for hockey instead. Just like Hollywood, sports are scripted. Just take a look at WWE.

    • @hido...
      @hido... Год назад +13

      @@HBK970 you can easily choreography WWE whereas more active sports like soccer and basketball you can't really. If this was scripted and that shot was planned before the game even started then he must be the greatest basketball player ever for intentionally getting the movie like bounces. I don't think sports games are scripted but some are fixed is more likely.

      Yea unreal. Funny enough Siakam was wide open and would have had a much better shot attempt. But it would have been a tough pass and Kawhi was that guy and knew he had to take the shot. It was destiny. What a legendary moment.

    • @ldaws-3912
      @ldaws-3912 Год назад +6

      @@hido... I agree, I think sports has it's fair share of manipulation through refs, etc. But I find it hard to believe they would use magnets and be able to change the flight path of the ball. That's farfetched, I'm leaning towards it being just an extremely lucky bounce by one of the best players in the league. Kawhi had to arc it pretty high, so when it bounced off the rim it bounced straight up instead of bouncing out to the side.

    That shot will go down in Kawhi's highlight tape when we look back at his career. Not just because it won the game and sent them to the ecf but also because it slowed down and bounced a few times before it went, after that first clank off the rim I immediately thought overtime but I was wrong.

      @crazytrain111 5 лет назад +3

      Lyric X I love how this is how fans are reacting to his shot. If Lebron hit this shot so many fans would be talking about how it’s not that clutch because the game was tied, and he got a lucky bounce, which is exactly what people say anytime Lebron has hit a game winner when it’s a tie game... but so far nobody has said this about Kawhi, once again proving that nba fans have 0 consistency In their hate/praise.

      @@crazytrain111 I hear you, it's just life man. Things aren't fair but if u really think about it what you said applies to multiple things and not just across sports. You ever notice how when you have a crush on someone as a kid and she lends you a pen, you immediately think she likes you but let an ugly girl you aren't paying attention to do the same thing and you think nothing of it? That's life. Sports is just like life but wayyyy less important and when you really think about it, it has very little importance to your overall life which is why I watch sports enjoy it and don't argue about it. But I know what you mean and to think tomorrow skip will probably say he was lucky and there was no real pressure because he doesn't like Kawhi.

No matter how many times Lebron has hit playoff game winners these same fans continue saying he’s not clutch or his not this and that or whatever else they wanna say... but Kawhi hits his first playoff buzzer beater in idk how long and everyone is calling him super clutch. This is why I can’t stand nba fans, there is no consistency in their hate/support. I guarantee you that most of the people calling Kawhi clutch have spent Lebron career calling him unclutc .
