Federico always has a nack for making the most talented people look like they are trying to keep up with him. I just found him a month ago and I have been watching everything I can get my hands on. I am shopping for a new Warrior Instruments 5 string now. I sold mine many years ago when I was hard up for money and regretted it ever since. Thank you to Hadrien Feraud and Federico Malaman for being such a great inspiration.

@@subscribetobanbasstabs2599 I checked Mayones out and listened to a ton of them. I am sure they are great. My preference is Warrior Instruments neck-thru 5 string.

Hadrien is a technical god but the sheer joy Federico emanates every time he plays is unparalleled, he's just having fun and loving music. Great video

I've heard Hadrien Feraud playing a mistake only two times in my life and both of those times are in this video
he probably hasn't played the song in years and is going by pure ears instead of muscle memory
I like seeing guys like this make mistakes. Shows that they are human.
Noticed he hasn’t played the song in years or so and he still managed to pull this off. I still enjoyed every bit of it. Hadrien and Federico are still the worlds finest .

Malaman is the Tyson of Bass jams. He goes in deep and hard. Hes there to jam you can hear the hunger in his phrasing... I love that and would probably do the same haha

No it's not, my friend has a BBC and we compared it...the edges are different and this has some kind of logo on the front but BBC. Has theirs at the button on the front of the cab...

Federico always plays like a mma fighter when he plays with some other legendary bass player. And he makes other player play into his game. that's why he can not be a legend. He stays as a only youtube star all the time.
joe ahn can you elaborate on this? How does he make other player play his game and why does this restrict him to RUclips?
IMO. He has all the chops one could ever need or want, but he reminds of a kid who wants to play with others but doesn't quite know how... Undeniable talent though...
I see your point and respects it, however all players can't be the same - you seem to suggest that he is being delabrately devious when he plays with these other great bass players. I don't see it that way. I think Federico has a natural strong personality when playing and maybe relish these spotlight moments. I also like that he has no "fear" to drop chops along with whoever he's playing with lol. I think it keeps the other player "serious" in the jam. I notice he always gives the greats enough respect when jamming with them - but when it's his turn to solo he approaches it like "he's the great one in that specific moment" I like that!. what might frustrate us is the way he would "steal" a moment in the neutral parts of the song and spice it up - lol I can tell it takes the other player by surprise sometimes...the best I've seen handle it is Victor Wooten who would ackonwledge he's little steal with a nod and smile of approval lol. the joy of Federico face when Victor does that tells me he really feeds of the approval of these great players.
Less is more, and Federico simply can’t play a little less...Hadrien is in another league or he is from another planet
