I've done a diy steam a really long time ago and have thought about getting a steamer but where I live we have a very small window of cold weather, maybe 3 months at the most 4. I do like using pure glycerin for drawing in moisture which works really good but I might get a steamer one day just for the ease of everything. Great video 💜
It could depend on the heating cap. The ones I'm aware of can create a little bit of steam if a plastic cap is used but it's not the same amount of steam or effect of actually steaming the hair. In my opinion, heating caps are best used for adding heat to the deep conditioning process. They are a good alternative to a using a hooded dryer when deep conditioning.
Great tips shared dear, steaming is definitely a must
It really is! I wish I had started doing it sooner. Thanks for watching!

Go for it! I got my steamer when I lived in FL (where there is no winter) and used it pretty much every week. I saw a big difference in my hair.
Hello have you ever thought of trying redken product and k18? It would be good to have a a relaxed girl perspective on those brands
Thanks for the suggestion I haven't thought about trying those products and honestly have no plans to.
Redken products are great. All of the ones I tried are great. I keep them in my rotation.
I have the hooded one.. But I have to open up the vent because it gets very hot very quickly and my scalp seems to be burning.
Oh wow! Your steamer must get very hot. Mine doesn't get that hot but there is a lot of dripping so I have to make sure I have a towel on hand.
Would you say using a heated cap is similar to steaming?
