Almost getting tears is my eyes :) - It is such a treat to see this insanely skilled, talented football player ever existed! He must be the Goat! - Cant think of any other human beeing, who is even close to Michael Laudrup.. A never forgotten Dane.
True. In vision and through balls he is the goat. Too me he is better than Messi, cause enjoy how he plays more. But to be fair Messi is even more deadly😀
Yearly Bath Actually, Laudrup is better in dribbling as he is more effective, better passer, , he is just better. Tricks does not really matter, effectiveness is everything, Zidane is simply more vocal as a leader. Defensively, they both dont do much, yet Michael covers more ground.
By far my favourite player. People mostly think about dribbling and goals, but there have been plenty of comparable players on that. In terms of through passing, nobody is close to Laudrup. He could dribble and score as well
I think, not sure i am, Maradona said once about him: the clever player i have played against in my life. He invented that play... passing without looking, even in other sports (rugby, padel, basket, et alli) whether you do that it is called LAUDRUP as well! he smashed boundaries, fo sho. Thanks and gob of thanks Michael! : )
If it's any consolation, Michael Laudrup was awarded "Best Foreigner to play for a Spanish Club" for the period 1975-2000 (by the Spanish Football Writers - those who know football). Keep in mind some of the players he was up against for that award, which included many Balon D'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year winners - Maradona, Ronaldo R9, Johan Cruyff, Zidane, Stoichkov, Romário, Rivaldo - and far more if you include those who placed #2 or #3 in voting.
For passing and assists, there's none better than Laudrup, there has never been and perhaps never will be. Iniesta copied and learnt from him and see how good he became
Laudrup was voted the best foreign player in spain (1974-1994) he is voted as one of the Best eleven foreign players in real Madrid of all time and is concidered the Best scandinavian of all time ahead of Zlatan Ibrahimovic
@@ueks69 the comparisons laudrup vs zlatan is ridiculous really..they’re both offensive players..and it stops right there..the gentleman brilliant team player ..zlatan was/is a one man show ,,sometimes lol
If you ever need to compare same talent 2 players, choose the old one automatically. Do you know ball weight of the time? Do you know leg breaking defense players? Did you see a penalty area full of water and mud? ... where your shoot probably end... floating on the water in front of goalkeeper. Do you know those times jersey's absorb rain like a cotton pullower knitted by your grandma? And weighted 3x times more than normal weight. Messi at those times either be dead with a sole kick with spiked crampoon, or rarely he can shoot on target. Oldies understand me well :)
im oldies, but compare todays football with past are little bit dumb.. Football evolved and todays player (maybe Messi as example, because you mention it) also face difficulties.. Messi face mass media attack every single second if he didnt performed well (thanks to social media), on the pitch strategy developed to stop kind of Messi.. many talent fall before rise because too much hype...
Stop romanticising the struggles of the old. Each era has it's own challenges Nowadays football is a lot faster, defense are a lot more organised, and footballers in general undergo a lot more refined scouting system so only the absolute best athletes and technicians make it to the top. Don't get me wrong, i still think laudrup will kick ass in this era, purely because of his footballing brain. I'm just talking about football level in general. Today, football is definitely more advanced and harder.
I grew up watching football in the 90's but I am a rational person unlike you. Messi is genuinely the contender of being the greatest football player ever along with Maradona and Pele. Stop with your nonsense.
Anyone who's ever had any propensity, at any level, at doing this kind of passes over or between the defenders in open space, knows that Michael Laudrup especially, spent most of the game in deep frustration, for the moment he'd lift his head he would expect someone to be cutting behind enemy lines, which more often than not was not the case. For if they did, this video would have been about 6 hours long.
Provided that Cruyff really had no choice but to discard Michael Laudrup in 1994, he should have brought in *Rui Costa* from Benfica instead of signing the likes of Prosinecki and Hagi.
you should watch djalminha old days , there was no media social media , youtube , videobands like nowadays so there wasnt popularity ( most of todays players are baloon ) you should watch hagi as you watch zidane or others djalminhas passes and brave you cant see nowadays
@@giorgifehmicelik4205 Just stupid written dude... All of Laudrups skills, is from before the millinium... No real internet, just your TV, and a VCR-recorder... My favorite player of all time!
Me too. As a soccer fan, I almost missed, and never missed Michael Laudrup: bit.ly/2QkCjot
My one of the best😍😍
My favourite player as well
Mine too.
Not the one dancing around the ball, but soo clean, elegant and with the best vision and passing ever.
kdb
His passes were like a knife through butter. Most underrated player ever.
I agrée.
He wasn't underrated in his time, but he's unfairly forgotten now.
Almost getting tears is my eyes :) - It is such a treat to see this insanely skilled, talented football player ever existed! He must be the Goat! - Cant think of any other human beeing, who is even close to Michael Laudrup.. A never forgotten Dane.
Vision is misused people think it means long passing. Vision is seeing passes others dont see then pulling them off. That is this man.
I agree
Very nice f long passing
True. In vision and through balls he is the goat. Too me he is better than Messi, cause enjoy how he plays more.
But to be fair Messi is even more deadly😀
he could do long, short, medium range passes with the precission of a surgeon
Yessssssssss
El-Magico.... Laudrup!!!
God, I miss growing up in the 90's. I miss 90's football and I miss Laudrup. What would I give to go back to that time.
Most underrated player ever
For me, He is the world best midfielder ever. Better than Zizou. He is truly underrated.
I agree
Agreed best ever. Zidane is my favourite to watch but this guy was better
I totally agree. I cant think of a crestive midfielder better than him in history. He just didnt get same media attention as Zidane, Figo etc

a little late comment but the new Laudrup is De bruyne

Pep Guardiola said it best ‘i have no respect for best europian fotballer of the year Award, because Laudrup never won it’ !!??

Putting people in on goal from so deep in the midfield. One precise pass and a chance created. What a player
Yeah
0:30 How can he see that? The man was a genius
King of pass 👑
What an utter genius
Just a sensational footballer
I have not seen someone deliver a better through ball
Zico.
Selfishness - 0
Vision - 999
The most unselfish player ever.
Very special player...
One pass he made the opposition goalkeeper and player collide with each other 0:36 that was beautiful.
Wonderful memories great player
Nobody ever replaced Laudrup. KDB probably the only one coming in the near of his abilities. insane
mon favori , c'est un grand joueur
Beautiful passes > beautiful goals
Best player, to never win Ballon d’or!
The best player for me you have good mentally and good player professional 🤠
Good video, but am kinda disappointed the chip pass to Romario wasn't in the video.
De bruyne giving these kind of passes now a days, but Laudrup had done this in 80s and 90s, thats incredible 👍
De Bruyne wishes, and I love the guy's playing, don't get me wrong
Are you serious? De Bruyne's passings are no match to those of Laudrup's. Laudrup is better is every way
thats what i said, De Bruyne doing it now but he has already done that in 80s and 90s, i backed him
KDB is great. I hope his success grows with having Haaland as a target.
Yeah he's best midfielder for last 2,3 years
3:28 is funny - all players except for one are standing still, and Laudrup finds him .. goal.
Formidable capacité à faire le bon choix.
GOD OF PASSING
Wow underrated
Nice.

Le joueur le plus sous-côté de l'histoire du football
Espectacular.
Who's here because they took his prime moments 92?
One of the bests without any doubt. With John Lauridsen's permission, of course.
Laudrup fue unos de los pocos jugadores q se adelanto a su tiempo,, cuanto valdria ahora en estos tiempos?,,,,,
how did he see that 0:30
Very genius
Very Genius
Yeah, that is incredible
Super intelligent player no matter everyones opinion
Big football intelligence
This is the best midfield
He is too good for the camera, they only capture half of his passes
El único futbolista que tenía una varita en los pies...
Magico total

You just need to make a run and he'll deliver the ball
He does have an hour+ highlight of his passes, as discussed in the Guardian.

Mejor que Iniesta. Y al mismo nivel que zidane
Era mejor que Zizou...sin dudas...Iniesta tenia un estilo diferente pero era un Mago tambien..."El Mago de los dribles"=Iniesta...

That is the most annoying music of all time! Let his artistry speak for itself.
