My Nona taught me to kiss the bread before throwing it away. I’m 76 and I still do it today! ☺️ When I make a batch of flavor bread crumb I store the leftovers in the freezer. They keep very well. It’s great to have them on hand.
My mom always had leftover bread drying out for breadcrumbs and when she made a batch she would grate the bread with a food grater, no food processors back then lol. If she was going to make something with seasoned breadcrumbs she made them like yours, fresh parsley, garlic and of course Pecorino Romano cheese. When she made those we knew we were getting something yummy to eat for dinner, lol. I sometimes use the plastic bag method and crush the bread with a rolling pin.
Great video! Wonderful tips for in the kitchen. I love, love, love your attitude that having food is a privilege. I should remember that... I do... but.. more. 💕
Hi Ann, Thank you so much for watching. The plain I store in a Tupperware container. The flavored i do store in the fridge but use within a few days. One the the followers suggested the freezer.
@@ginarodriguez3513 for months, once properly dried it keeps for a good amount of time. Make sure that it is stored any cool dried place. Thank you so much for watching.
