  • I decided to have a go at TeamSport Reading without any knowledge of the track. How quickly can I learn it? How fast can I go? Is it actually fast?

This video is edited very well, great job. And reading the comments it seems like a 55 second laptime for your first time there seems very impressive. I think localised yellow flags would be good, but that probably only works for the longer tracks as i don't think it is possible at places such as Leeds.

Thank you! Yes, the localised flags were good, but as you say wouldn't work on some of the smaller tracks. Also relies quite heavily on people actually responding to them! 👍

I find new track quite enjoyable to drive with no experience. Great video like always ❤🎉

Yes, I really enjoyed doing it this way. The challenge of trying to work it out as quickly as possible was great!

Having gone to this track quite a bit, 52.9 is my best time and I average around 53/54. A 55.4 for your first session is pretty damn quick so good job :D

Thanks! I'm glad to hear it! I really did no research as I had no time, literally blind into it! 👍😂

I'm going to try and do Southampton (Eastleigh) tomorrow as I'm down that way for work. Looking forward to trying the new gen of electric karts with the boost button!

Same here! I'll be doing Eastleigh in August (another holiday! 😂) Looking forward to the experience!

@@RobGoesRacing I did a 32.123 so that is your target 😂 (I feel I have an easy 0.7s but got stuck in a train and didn't have any clean laps)

Another thing with less grippy tracks is you can't brake as late as normal, usually softer earlier braking is needed to not slide too much out of a corner and accelerate quicker.

That's a good point! Thankfully there is only really the first hairpin that has a braking point on the concrete here! 👍
