Good tips. Sometimes, I plan my overtakes several laps before I actually try it. And then on the lap I'm going to overtake, I also estimate the distance every corner before the overtake corner to see if the overtake is still feasible.

Yesterday I went for a run on the track and my kart wasn't FRICKIN TURNING, even in an high speed corner, I needed to slow the kart so much the I got overtaked by everyone... (The track wasn't wet)
Do you think you could do a more advanced one of these, ive done corpprate karting for a few years, and im pretty confident enough to be near the top at most tracks, and im looking into moving into owners karting
You have to brake as late as possible WITHOUT losing the best racing line. In most racing cars is faster to use all the grip of your tires, not sliding them all around. I'm not a racing driver but I know for sure that the fastest ones I've seem over here in the kart track are very smooth. Their steering barely move, they make the Kart follow the racing line precisely. In some cases you will find yourself going faster by underdriving than overdriving. 🤔
How do you go from kart racing to something like formula VEE is it something you pay for like you do with karting or do sponsors pick you up if your really good ?
Damn that left curb on 2:50 looks horrible. Do you think anyone would let me drive a few laps in a fast kart like this on a free track training day? Would love to try it but I'm not shelling out 5000 euros for one lol.
Try to find some information at your local track. Here I've seen people rent a kart even to do a race weekend. I don't know how things work where you live, but here I would talk to mechanics. They know kart owners and some of them would accept renting me a Kart for some practicing laps.

I know you think it is funny and also cool, if you put unnecessary memes with what you are saying to keep attentions or you are cheeky, but as these are relatively short for educational video, avoiding massively distracting memes so your vocal cues becomes secondaries especially when you are saying something important and not replying it.

Breaking is the most difficult thing for me with my rotax kart... You must have a lot of confidence to break just before a corner with 130 kph :/

I race on a tighter track and I brake as I turn sometimes to push momentum to the front of the kart for more grip but it is risky and easy to spin
Lack of a suspension don’t help does it. Means the rear can come up
