Amaranthe combines some of my favourite elements of different kinds of music into one really catchy style. Hunger is the second song I ever heard by them and I really like it for its obvious action style cinematic influences. It's no secret I like cross-over genres within metal, and this EDM/pop/metal combo just really works for me.
Since I still haven't figured out how to grunt on viola, I decided to leave those parts out. I love them in the original song but it just doesn't fit with my arrangement.

Hahahaha this is so awesome because this is precisely what I feel when listening to the music I like :P. Just sitting in the train travelling or walking somewhere feels like the world depends on it when listening to the right music. Very happy my cover has been able to do that!

Marc v/d Meulen Yeah I say "one of my favourites" but almost all Amaranthe songs are my favourite xD They're all so good, but Hunger would definitely be near the top of the list. It's also one of the few songs they released an acoustic version of which is pretty cool.
