Thanks for the video series 😁👍 welcome to home ownership 💵 The bike sounds good and looks cool too . I designed my own motorized bicycle build. I like to call it a predator Friction drive. So simple a cave man could do it, works on any bicycle with a seat post. All moving parts have been deleted. I rode one across America 🇺🇸 last year Florida to California and back, because everything else has been done. I've post some videos on my channel pretty regular .
Thats pretty awesome!! thx, I bet that ride was long. The friction drives are simpler, and I was debating about using them. They aren't as common as their alternative.
i had to change the fork angle on mine about 10 degrees more rack, because the trike got whippy at higher speeds. i also eventually put the engine lower than the axel. going on my second summer with it, i went big on parts so it's very reliable. i even put suspension on the back and front with forks. i live in a rule area, so i drive a lot of dirt roads. i drive to the Dollar General store that's 5 miles of dirt to get to it, then 5 miles dirt back. cops dont care as long as u dont get out on the highway. what do they care u drive 20-30 miles an hour on a dirt road.
Yeah, these things can be nerve racking when cornering but, lowering the engine can help a lot. These trikes are fun and versatile, just wish I could have also had the basket as well as the engine. It's definitely a useful machine especially when you live in rural areas.
I think I'm gonna gas motor my trike. I'm gonna use a Honda 50cc 2 stroke out of a 2015 Honda Giorna scooter. That engine is quiet AF and does 60k with restrictor in.
Uhh..... as someone who has 2 motorized bikes your wrong and they have more than just the 1 engine size there is the 50,80,85,100,110 2 strokes and 40,50,79,90cc 4 stroke kits also all of them can be built on a trike or bicycle with little to any attachments
I don't think I said there wasn't. I know there are different sizes, but if you live here in California, your options are extremely limited. The only 4 stroke kit I can get my hands on is the 49cc. No other website I tried would ship them to my address. So, I'm stuck with only the 49cc 4 stroke kit or the 50cc, 80cc,100c 2 stoke kit. If I want a different size, It's completely custom. -" also all of them can be built on a trike or bicycle with little to any attachments" , The difficulty ranges depending on what kind of kit and bike you're putting it on. Some bikes bolt up easy and some are a pain in the ass and need some fabricating. And for trikes, I've yet to find a standardize kit for them, 2 stoke and 4 stroke. The only thing that comes close is the youtuber "Hughes Motorized" with his trailer kit for trikes, and that is only for 4 stroke. Needless to say, anything for trikes is custom.
Cool man
Pretty cool, build bro

So I’ve built close to a thousand motorized bicycles now, I can’t seem to find the transmission kit for the 79cc predators on bicycles anymore.
yeah, they are extremely hard to find. Gopowersports and ombwarehouse have torque converters for the 79cc I believe.
@@rick14377 I’ll check it out thank you for the Website!

It'll be worth it, I always enjoyed motorizing trikes. It's definitely a challenge.

I have a 212 on my trike. Maxx Torque clutch. It goes bye bye
