Nice review guys, I have those JBL Live Pro 2 buds for my daily use. They have a very fast connection, very good sound, nice ANC, great battery life and only one bud can be used (no matter if is the left or the right bud). For traveling I prefer my Bose QC II but for my daily use I prefer those beauties.

I was thinking about getting those as daily drivers. Currently that role is being furfilled by the Lg tone dfp8. You should review those too! (Or the newer tone t90).

That was a great review. I may have to send mine in for warranty replacement. When I'm talking to people on a phone call they tell me that all the high-pitched noises come through really loud and tinny.
Hey guys, first of all, I would like to thank you for all of your videos they are really helpful! 6 months ago I bought liberty 3 pro thanks to your recommendation, I was blown away by the sound it produces but the comfort is just not there, so I am looking for the alternative and JBL live pros seems to be good choice:)))
Check the edifier neobuds pro. I have sold my liberty 3 pros for these and didn't regret it!
Been using these Pro 2's for about a week including on one flight and i have to say I'm nicely surprised. Although not as good as my Sony XM3's these are great for a bud. Volume controls would be a great addition, they could block out a bit more of the higher frequencies, but other than they are great. I highly recommend them.

Love mine. Been using them for months. They sound great and in cold temperatures because of the large touch point if you have smart phone gloves you can easily tap the sensors without reaching your phone

Nice job with this review thank you. I'll never understand why they can't get the controls figured out and that goes for other big brands as well. It's almost as if they want to force us to use our voice assistant. Comparing these to the Jabra's doesn't work for me because they're completely different in style and form factor. The Jabra's are uncomfortable for me and I can't get a good seal. There's so much to talk about these days with all of the options we have I could write a book in the comments. I think JBL is heading in the right direction and this is a good thing for all of us. You guys are awesome 😎. 👍💯🇺🇸

My daily driver TWS buds are as follows, Edifier Neobuds Pro for insane ANC and walkabouts, Sennheiser TWS Momentum 3 for quality sound on-the-go with acceptable ANC, Soundpeats H1 if I need a bass boost to-go, the Gravastar Sirius Pro War Damaged if I'm feeling particular militant towards humans in general in the moment and finally, my Shokz Openrun if I'm in the mood to cough up a lung doing some esoteric exercise designed to inflict needless pain on the practitioner. Awesome video. Seen similar thoughts on the Live Pro 2's out there and the review helps a bunch. Also saw that the OnePlus Buds Pro are now at $79.99. Their controls aren't complete either but how do you compare?

One piece of constructive feedback - early on in the review (such as during the ANC portion) you mention “at this price” a few times before mentioning the price which I found confusing. Sure, viewers can look up the price on their own or wait until later on in the review when you talk about pricing (around the 10 minute mark). But why not share the price at the beginning? It would help contextualize the features relative to pricing earlier on in the review.
Yes...pleased, app very good, sound quite good etc. 75 bucks. Sent back liberty pro 2s... Where the app was lacking, they didn't even say/indicate connected, Is kind of bulky.... But their case was awesome. I ordered both, and I'm sticking with the JBL
True, shallow insertion requires greater leakage protection, but also it should enhance both the touching and the stroking.

01:32 Not sure if it's the same error but the last tip on the 'can't find your earbuds' screen works for me. Says make sure no audio is playing.
I'm used to other apps that don't need you to pause music first. Have not had the error since.
Same principle in the EQ, changes aren't full real time so you have to adjust/save to hear changes.
Love them though, fabulous sound, very comfy, great feature set.
I am using Huawei, Freebuds Pro 2. Little bit too short battery, but what an audio quality.

These can be used with Comply TrueGrip Pro TW0-210 tips (confirmed on the Comply website) and offer improvement in comfort, sound and specifically ANC. Being foam they form a much better seal than the standard tips (I passed the Ear Canal tests for the first time) and not so much ANC is required to block external noise.

They are interesting to be sure. They come in at a fairly decent price point here in Canada. To be honest, I'd lean towards Jabra rather than JBL simply in terms of usability. Great critique as usual lads! If you come across the Gravastar Sirius P5 buds in your travels, let us know if you think those would be suitable daily drivers lads. Huge thanks!

@@DHRME The P5 or the Sirius Pro? The P5 is Gravastar's latest bud not last year's Sirius Pro. Entry level bud for sure with some interesting design choices.

Still daily driving the EAH-AZ60s. Nothing compares to the sound quality and the functionality they provide. But I am also using the new Jabra Evolve2 Buds that just launched. The JBLs are...tempting.

@@HungTran-wf3gu depends on what you mean by good. The az60s have accurate and punchy bass. But it's not super intense like you'll get from a lot of other earbuds.

make them seem like they could be a really good bye but my ear canals are sensitive and I'm afraid to buy them if they're sitting too deep in my ear canal or uncomfortable or something like that.
I like these a lot but the inear rubber is a bit too small for my vulcan ears. It is not posssible to use the standard rubber ear pieces but if you use a hobby knife you can modify them and make them fit and use them. Apart from that these are fantastic earbuds.

These are pretty good overall and with the sale prices they get regularly, it's a good deal. HOWEVER... I think the Live Free 2 are the better of the 2. Smaller in size (similar to Earfun Free Pros) & very comfortable plus they get louder when needed. I use my Live Free 2 more than anything else I have at the moment, which includes some really good earbuds

Similar size but oval tips, same sound as the Live Pro 2 but couple clicks louder... regardless if you get them or not (highly recommended honestly)... thanks for the great content like always & keep doing what you're doing. I am seeing jbl pro 2 reviews everywhere. But hardly any reviews for jbl live free 2, which have all the same features but a stemless bud design. Why is that? Is there something wrong with the live free 2?

I just bought them, but iam having issue with connectivity with PC, the audio keeps shuttering and dropping every 30sec-1min, i don't know if the problem is with earphones or my PC, i tired other earphones with my PC they were good, have seen this problem too? Please Help.

Anyone can help me? Got my JBL live pro 2 yesterday connected to phone and JBL app but after an hour usage the app indicate the earbud battery is still on 100%. Anyone have this issue?

On the other hand, my daily driver is not what you think. 3 different headphones.
First, tho most often, to listening RUclips videos - wired earbuds, not branded.
Second is cheap Bluetooth headphones 🎧 for most occasions for cleaning, shoppings, and for bike ( only not to fast) , and for indoor, and emergency outdoor calls. pH... 307 five.
Last one for calls anywhere earbuds liberty 80. Plenty flaws, acceptable for calls on the other side.
My daily driver is still waiting for being invented 😏

I have a problem with Chinese TWS. My Edifier Neobuds pro and Edifier Neobuds 2 both left earbuds stops working within 4 months. Very frustrating especially with Neobuds pro because they are really good. I'm afraid Oppo Enco 2 might be the same. I did decided to the sony linkbuds S for $129. Hopefully it will not suffer the same faith as the Edifiers. Soundcore X10 is also on sale for $59. I might grab that one too. I have aipods 2nd gen and beats powerpro. I have no problems with them. I guess my main point is. Quality control on the big name brands like Apple , Samsung and Sony might be better because they buds will last longer.
Bought the JBL Live Pro 2: Very good sound output. Nice mic for calls. But the mic does not work on any other device or app, besides calls. Tried whatsapp, instagram, sound recorder and several other. I tried on 3 different phones (different brands even...), also tried on 2 different PC's and no sound detected from the mic. And yes, I went to setting and selected the JBL live mic as main mic and nothing. I returned that first pair, got a new one and exactly the same issue. So yeah, JBL Live Pro 2 appears to be an excellent earbuds, but why have 6 mics if they don't work? I returned the second pair and got my money back...
Huh? We have just one unit and it worked just fine on all our devices.
@@DHRME During calls (phone2phone) it works normally. I noticed on this on apps. At first I didn't noticed, because the phone mic was recording and I thought it was the headphones. So (if you can) try very far away from the phone. I found it very strange... even the shop were I bought them, were not able to understand exactly what was wrong. If it was only my phone... OK, but it was with 3 different phones, 2 PC's and several apps... ah, and with factory reset done to the JBL Live Pro 2.
And I really liked them, besides that, for the cost they are an excellent buds.

I bought these but they tend to slip out and don’t form a good seal. Otherwise very good, impressive actually.
Do you haver small ears?
@@YUTfan2 medium ears. Issue is they are a shallow fit ( needs more in ear canal) , material doesn’t grip and they need some sort of wing design to stay in place. Shame, really liked them but not for me. Smaller ears would be better for them. Great for 10 mins but soon as normal moisture gets in them they slip and slide all over the place. I returned them got sennheiser momentum 3 TW which are perfect, stay in ear all day even with walking and movement . They sit deep in ear, have a crook design which gives a tight seal and have a wing tip/lip that helps.
@@coderider3022 One more doubt I have. Consider the earbuds is in connected state, (not inside the box) and if I am not wearing it, will the audio be played in the phone speaker or through earbuds? Please check this. Thank you.
@@YUTfan2 I returned them so I can’t try this. I assume the ear sensors will mean they won’t be an output device ? Might be default behaviour for any bud, best asking jbl support.
