In fact, the great and immortal Sam Cooke, is said to have expressed that Archie was the only singer who could move him to tears. It is sad that this style of singing has been forgotten in favor of a more “pop friendly” sound both in gospel and popular music. They just don’t make em like this anymore.
I remember when I was a little child about 10 years old they came to our high school and they perform real well this is my first time seeing the Five Blind Boys of Mississippi I'll never forget that day thank the Lord gave me that opportunity to be blessed by them .
