The Mental Health Landscape of Irish Agriculture: Supporting Farming Minds

One of our fantastic seminars in the Research Seminar Series. The seminar discussed the mental health problems and suicide that are continually reported as major concerns for those actively employed in the Irish farming sector. Relative to other occupational groups, farmers experience a higher burden of health problems including mental health and suicide.
On the panel was UCD's Dr. Tomas Russell, Co-Chair of the UCD Agri Mental Health Group and Farming Minds Project and also Dr. Noel Richardson, Senior lecturer & Director of the National Centre for Men’s Health, Department of Health and Sport Sciences, SETU, Carlow.
