I hate the way the NFL media has discounted the Rams loss of AD and Raheem Morris. If this was most other teams this defensive front would be considered a bottom 10 unit but since it's a Sean McVay team it can't be that bad. The Rams are putting a first time DC with a weak depth chart and no blue chip lvl player yet somehow people believe this is the championship caliber team lol.
Their DC is an inside promotion from a guy with the team for 8 years. We're stoked on our coaches but it's just as green. Losing Donald is gonna be rough for them. I don't think turner and young are blue chip players. Maybe never will be. But it's preparing for the future. We're still in "what if," and "hope so," with our defense. They at least have an idea how it might look. You, me, brian, everyone loves Murphy but we have no idea what he's actually going to do year one. Also I dont think Morris is that great of a d coordinator. Yet the Rams have had a better scoring defense than ours for five straight years.
