Seeing the trolley in the Wild West area made me think that you should create small time traveler's train, like a Tardis on wheels. It would be a nice easter egg to connect the lore of the different areas!
Do you know what would be cool? If you built a replica of the lego museum in your lego city. That would be a fun easter egg, and something to do with the interiors you still need to figure out.
Just a thought, open up all the floors on the rounded corners and place spiral staircases to the top. this would fix the issue of where to place the stairs, and avoid having to try to build the rounded corner floors to fit perfectly. could look pretty interesting as well! You could go crazy and really open up the floors and have a large atrium with mezzanine and balcony instead of spiral stairs and place the stairs elsewhere... Just some thoughts... Love the build!! Big Cheers and Much Love from the BloodShot Studio!!
Thinking about the building interiors: When you move to the museum it would be cool if you could work with local buisnesses and have them sponsor a building, by having their business represented inside the building. You could have QR codes on the edge of the table that would show pictures of the interior and link the sponser. So for instance, the building you made today, if your local bank became a sponser, you'd make that building into such-and-such bank, and have a QR code so people could see pictures of the inside. Might not be a super feasible idea but I thought it was cool.
You should find a way to integrate the tram into the streets in a newer section in the new building by using tracks and putting grey tiles on them so they look like roads with tram lines in them. This would be cool to make it look like most cities that have trams.
I remember him saying once that the current tracks with the wooden planks will only be where the train station is. I don’t know if he said it on this channel or his German one, but I believe he already plans on doing that.
Not sure if this would work given the architectural styling of the city, but a walkway connecting two buildings with glass walls to overlook the new development’s ground level might be interesting. One other thought I had is maybe an arch connecting the latest building to the other side could allow you to fill in the curved area by getting rid of a small section of it, letting you fill in the area more. You could even combine both my ideas and have the gap filler be a small flight of stairs to the walkway. Love the videos and vibe of the city btw!
I think a really cool idea for the interior for one of the buildings would be to build your new (or current) Lego room inside. The new place may be better since the buildings are multiple floors tall, but you could also have different layouts in each floor. Like having the wild west on the bottom floor and the city on the next
Your city is unique, love how you're always trying to push the boundaries with how the whole city is built! Gotta love how much potential there is with empty buildings! Would love to see a comic/collectable shop in one of them, that could be super unique.
I've only recently started watching your channel but I just wanted to say thank you for putting so much love into this project and thank you for letting us come along on this journey with you! The tram is everything to me by the way. Have a wonderful day!
When that tram first zoomed through the opening in the wall, I could imagine the train-like piano music heard on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood every time the trolley was driving. 😆
Loved seeing the tram crash right into the signal box, seems like a plot from an episode of Thomas the Tank Engine. If you connected the tram to the Wild West section through the tunnel, you could have a stop for the tram and a synced period-accurate engine depart out the other side.
The buildings although so difficult and challenging to make look so much better and much more authentic then other lego builds that is why I like this channel so much. The tram looks brilliant too and will suit the city so much lovely contrast in colours!
Here is some ideas for tram boulevard: Grassy tram tracks would be also nice idea. One thing that look great in real life is when you not make onatreet parking everywhere, instead you can make few parking spaces every ten or twenty metres. Raised crosswalks increase pedestrian safety and starting to be used on high traffic roads all over the europe. Don't forget on protected bikelane (i think that tree protected bikelane would be best both from realism and beauty standpoint) build two lanes on one side of the road so the faster cyclists don't have to dodge to the sidewalk. This citi looks great already. Love it.
I’d love to see a modern metro network station adaptation that bridges over the rail lines and connects the tram station to the tracks beneath. And could even incorporate a ferry terminal
it would be cool for in the future you add a small camera to one of the trains like on the side or front and have a screen playing the footage in the museum so people can see the smaller nooks and crannies of the city
Well documented updates, thanks for that. I don't know if you want suggestions, however, when you mentioned you had not decided what to do with the next ocean tile except maybe a treasure, I thought of a shipwreck. Hope your LEGO city museum will be a big succes :)
You should maybe make the tram themed like a time machine (maybe the one in back to the future 3?) because then it will fit in all sections and there is a lore reason for it to be in all these different sections.
I love that you have been able to do this, to be able to play with Lego, and have a large dedicated space for it. You let your creativity run wild, and it is amazing to see it
In regards of the tram, i remember few years ago someone made a 'slimline' version of the 9v traintrack motor, you are now very limited to the 'bulkyness' of the engine itself. Specialy if plan to build a 2 lorry type, you could combine those 2 with 1 doing the powering, the other is the engine itself.
To block out some of the holes in the roof of the curved buildings you could maybe have a roof top garden with some mini figures gardening or putting laundry on a laundry line that might cover some of the roof curve :) just an idea
You could cover those parts in the corner on top of the building with some sort of debris, boxes, or or a couch, or a small garden or something. People have a habit of making spots like those into something a bit more interesting. That tram looking out of time is kind of fun. Gives the whole thing a bit of a Dr. Who-ish time travel vibe.
Hello, Congratulations for your city ! About the future lighthouse : for me it is unrealistic to put it on the lower Platform. In reality we try to build lighthouses as small as possible (it’s of course cheaper and easier). In such a city you should build your lighthouse on the upper Platform if you want to be realistic. But lego remains a game and you can of course build it anywhere ;-)
I love your buildings dude! I thought of two possible fixes for the circular floor gap in your buildings: either place the staircase there or have some kind of open space with a balcony hanging there!
You should add blue fire pieces at the tunnel entrances of the wild west and city as a kind off space time continuum disturbance or time travel. To make the modern trains in wild west make a bit of sence
For the meseum I think it would be cool if you could mount some tvs in the wall somewhere and have them cycle through building interiors to show them off a little bit
Don’t forget the power line for the tram! They are often hanging with wires attached to buildings that are next to the tracks. That would look cool. You could also add streetlamps in the same way!
After seeing the tram in the wild west, I think it would be really cool if you build a scaled Delorean and Black Steam Train to go on the tracks for an insane easter egg. Maybe even buy the figures and create a mini-scene!
I do not see you are lazy mate, I see you put loads of enormous effort into that city. That looks great and really your like ideas and techniques. Good job there!
The overhead shot at 5:50 ish makes me think an archway between the angled buildings going to another plaza sort of area (maybe a fountain in the middle with some benches on the far side?) might be interesting
I live in the Netherlands so it no problem going to see the museum when finished but I just wanted to say that you are such an inspiration and wanted to say that you defiantly have the best lego city ever built
something you could try to integrate is a pier around the harbour, I know lots of coastal harbours will always come with some kind of pier to break the waves and keep the harbour having calmer waters so its not quite as affected by the weather, the lighthouse would look incredible at the end of a pier
Someone moving in their furniture could be a fun addition to a building. Maybe you could add the classical piano hanging on a crane? 2 minifigs holding a sofa?
a cave with treasure inside, a ligthouse... all this they sell in 1 lego set. maybe you can buy that set add it to the harbour, or use it as an inspiration to see how it must look.
You deserve 500K subscribers for all this wonderful work you share with us. Couldn’t find any better representation of your work with any other builders. Kudos ❤
What about adding a secluded small beach between the harbour and where the lighthouse will go... One of those places you can only get to by swimming, or maybe kayaking. Could still have your cave included in this as well. I adore all your detailing and your angled buildings. Thank you :)
Might be unneeded but How about adding a specific "building" aka a stairhouse for higher floors for some buildings? For example; Having a residence building utilize their whole floor with a simple door connected to a smaller side sections specificly for stairs. That way you can have 1 staircase for 2 or more buildings even, takes more space overall however. Which also gives more room for bottom floors for stores or whatever you might use all the new space for without the staircase taking it up.
I actually love the look of the tram in the wild west, it makes me think of some Indiana Jones type thing lol. The tram could be a really nice way of connecting all the areas together, maybe even going round the whole museum.
Nice tram. You should have a motorized stagecoach tram that circles the wild west area? Maybe with if possible horses out front. You might have to support the horse(s) with a floating platform so they dont get stuck into the rails an sleepers
The tram design reminds me of the Siemens trams built in years 1899 and 1900, 12 of which operated in my city of Ljubljana between 1901 and 1958 and one of which we have preserved in our Technical Museum of Slovenia. :)
I’ve never commented this cuz I never knew how you’d pull it off, but I’ve always wished the train somehow swapped with an old western one somewhere behind the structure where you couldn’t see it, and then back to a modern on on the way back.
Seeing the trolley in the Wild West area made me think that you should create small time traveler's train, like a Tardis on wheels. It would be a nice easter egg to connect the lore of the different areas!
If it was possible Delorean infront of a black steam locomotive would be chef's kiss
Hg wells time machine would look cool
I love this idea!
@@yusuf8a684 Or alternately, Doc's locomotive time machine from the ending.
I love the Delorean idea but I think something custom and unique would be best!
I can't wait to see how good the city looks in the lego museum, it's gonna be crazy seeing how much potential it has
Yeah
Do you know what would be cool? If you built a replica of the lego museum in your lego city. That would be a fun easter egg, and something to do with the interiors you still need to figure out.
Just seen this comment and literally had the same idea.. great minds think alike 😄
And inside the lego museum make a replica of the lego city
Now that's mindblowing!
@@_SUPERN0VA_ And in that miniature, have an even smaller version of the lego museum!
awesome idea, i hope he sees this
I really like how all the city is connected by rails, that makes it 100 times better
It's like Lego LOCO but in real life
Just a thought, open up all the floors on the rounded corners and place spiral staircases to the top. this would fix the issue of where to place the stairs, and avoid having to try to build the rounded corner floors to fit perfectly. could look pretty interesting as well! That’s genius
Your city has came on so much from the early days :)
The free area between the building makes aperfect spot for a streetpreformer and some people watching! Really suits the vibe imo.
Just imagining the passengers holding on for dear life as the tram speeds through the city is too funny to me. 😂

@@Yan-17 he said it on this one, but yes he did have plans for it
Yes definitely, the tram should be on the road!
@@MrBlastinBruce unless he wants to do an older European style tram instead of more modern city style
Rather than wood planks, some green tiles to represent the grass use on modern tram platform that are not road would be better.
Immerwieder gut das Video auf Deutsch und dann auf Englisch zu gucken 👍
This is a wonderful expression of art and the movement of the trains gives it even more complexity and interest.
Man! Looking better every week! You are better than every other LEGO MOC RUclipsr by leaps and bounds! Keep it up!

Oooo… I love this tram !!!
I like the idea of the lighthouse on top of the cave.
I would love to see some underground train stations in the future, like a subway. It wold look so cool on videos from the train point of view

the thought of having to move this whole thing to a new building even has me worried. i hope it goes smoothly for you!
You should add Alleys in between buildings as well, then you can add scenes and dumpsters and such.
This is fantastic!! Love the new building and trolley! Keep up the great work

you should make a building that will be a model of your lego museum next to the new building
