  • Watch as we use our TYM 2515 tractor and Bamaulight MP348 forestry mulcher to clean up a mess of leftover limbs and scrub from last year's clearing project. Discover how these machines make maintaining large properties, trails, and building areas a breeze. Follow our journey as we put these tools to work and see how they'll help us keep our trails in great shape for years to come!
    In case you didn't know, TYM tractors actually bought out Branson tractor a while back. They decided to bring the Branson 2515 tractor over to the TYM lineup, but they're not using the Branson name anymore. Don't worry though, the top-notch quality of these tractors hasn't changed one bit. And if you've got a Branson tractor, you'll be glad to know that TYM is still taking care of all the servicing needs.

    The idea of a mulcher is great. Expensive tool. And I would like to see it actually work on some 3" trees.

      It can, but you'd need a more powerful tractor than this, or a skidsteer.

    Seems like a lot of naysayers in the thread, ill say this much. We bought the tym 474 based on the videos from Tony and we bought the mp348 mulcher based on the videos from tony. Having used to cat 299d3 and the hm100 mulcher from Cat i knew what the baumalight wouldnt do. Wish i could upload the picture that shows the six inch pine tree i mulched with the mp348. Thanks Mr Tony, your videos and tests/demos helped us make 2 informed purchases!

      There are no mulchers built for the front of a tractor like this. It would require too much hydraulic flow. They make them for skid steers. The only reason this works on the tractor is because it runs off of the rear PTO.

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  Год назад +1

      Having run it on both, I can promise you the 2515 is much better suited for this. Mulcher. Horsepower wise it's virtually a tie ; however, if we tried to use the mulcher on the t25 on a hillside, it would be very dangerous. The 2515 has the weight to handle the 1000 lb mulcher.

  • @richardlwellington

    No offense, but I think I like the muncher that attaches to the skid steer a lot better.

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  Год назад +3

      I agree. They also cost $25k to $50k to buy, plus you will need to throw in an extra $70k to $100k for a Skid Steer. I already have tractors and this works as fast as I need to for $14k. The resale on these units are great, so I could recoup most of my expenses when I am done.

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  Год назад +2

      Maybe you are looking at it short term or you don't have enough land to justify it. For us the cost is well justified because of the amount of clearing and trails we will have. The fact that we can have it at our location when we need it is key. These mulchers hold their value and I have many people wanting to buy mine already. If at any point I want to sell it. I can recoup a huge portion of my investment.
