It’s indeed hard to separate them as “anime soundtrack band” but looking beyond that they are like the equivalent of “Oasis” in terms of influence within Japanese alternative Rock scene. Goto Masafumi The lead vocal is a big fan of Oasis too. They are one of the few that paved the road for a lot of Japanese indie and similar alternative rock band that are active in the present time. Truly one of the few that is GOAT realm bound.
