Bought mine around a year ago now, sounds and plays fantastic, the neck is very thin , doesn't go out of tune, the action is nice and low, I really cannot complaint, for the 150 bucks I paid for it.....it's a steal !!!
Yes. It's a FANTASTIC GUITAR!!! 👍
I tought it goes out of tune a lot since it does not have locks??
@@Andehirt if setup properly, it won't go out of tune at all.
@@Andehirt mine has been setup very well. I place the strings the right manner, hardly goes out of tune.
@@punkoso4168 for some it doesn't stay in tune
Just bought the same exact guitar (same model, color etc). I was suspicious since it only cost me slightly over $100 but your review gave me a little piece of mind. Much appreciated 🙏
💯💪
Thanks for the review, I've just ordered this guitar (but the black one), I hope I'll enjoy it as you do :)
I'm sure you will. Excellent guitar for the price. Easily able to mod as well. 💯
Bought a black one because of this review about a month ago absolutely love the thing. I have other much more expensive guitars that are great. But I was blown away by the sound quality and build of this thing at such a low price. Serious props to Jackson and props to you for a great review man! Nice playing I really enjoyed the riffs!
Hi! Thanks for stopping by. Yes it's a KILLER GUITAR. So glad you bought one. Keep shredding dude! Cheers. 💯
Hi, can you tell me how much it weighs, looking for a lightweight guitar with a tremolo?
Love that guitar! Amazing color and sounds great! Great playing as always man!
💯
Inexpensive Jackson's Kick-Ass inexpensive Jackson's Kick-Ass
Never really used Jackson guitars, but gotta say I'm a fan of the dinkies. Great bang for your buck shred machines. That paint job is sick too! Great playing man 😊😊👌😎😃 Rock on!
Yes incredible value. Perfect shred machines. 💯
best necks in the game.
I got one in black 3 years ago I love the neck on it sounds good too my Glarry burning fire I love also it has a 13.7 neck radius compared to the Jackson JS11 its radius is 12 both guitars have flat necks.
Thanks for the review! Wanted to add something for a little old school metal on the cheap. Got a Dinky on the way, you helped seal the deal!
That's awesome. Your going to love it! 💪💯
Just ordered the metallic blue one from guitar works 🤘🏻
Awesome your going to love it! 💯
Sick riffs dude!! picking one up tomorrow can’t wait
Fantastic!
You always get the most out of whatever you’re playing dude ! I wish I could grab those harmonics as effortlessly as you haha. That’s all those years of practicing Zakk I bet 🤘😁
Yea I listened to Zakk Wylde for YEARS!! Thanks for the kind words. I've always said the tone is in your hands. 💯
Hell yeah
The outside audio on the mic is heaps low
Maybe a boom
Totally dig the gig man
Tube on
I get my js12 this week as us Ozzie's get tax benefits in July ,
Nice man
Fantastic. You will enjoy it!!!
Nice demo. Thanks.
💪💯
I really like darker finish on necks not the pale maple necks. I could care less if it’s baked as long as it is stained. This guitar is just so attractive and versatile.
It is definitely a good price for a killer guitar.
Hell yeah, sick bro. Loving the Jackson. Killer job
💯
Sick new guitar! You do great reviews. 👍
💯
💯
I’m in newfoundland that’s where I buy all my guitars and amps great store
Cool hairy sound!! (The place looks amazing too)🌸
Thanks. 💯
Yeah that's a sweet Dinky! Nice riffs too, brother. Cheers!
Cheers. Incredible value for the price! 💯
Have had the same guitar for one day , oh man what a guitar it is , I can't put it down , in England I paid a 139 pounds , ridiculous 😯 but I'm not complaining 😀😀🎸🎸
That's awesome!! 👍
Bout to by myself a white one tomorrow and I’m PUMPED
DO IT! YOU WON'T REGRET IT. Thanks for stopping by! 💯
I'd love to buy this but I'm not sure about the tuning ,would it stay in tune or have to constantly tune it ,and even does it affect the strings?
Stays in tune just fine.
I have been looking at s Jackson!! Going to see if I can track one of these down
what song were you playing i really want to learn that
I am about to purchase it...and I'm in love with is.....btw Love from india👍
Your going to LOVE IT! Hello from Canada! Hope all is well in India my friend! 🤘🤘
@@axeslinger all is well.....but fun fact....I'm in the farm protest😂....uk what it means....
Amazing play!!!!
Thanks man! 💯
Tuning stability is terrible. If you *touch* the stick, its out of tune. Also, to get a good stable tune, you have to bend on the strings and work them through the nut, while tuning. Servicing the nut should help a lot. A cheap alnico pickup in the bridge, is a high value upgrade; I used a $15 Fleor 14K Alnico 5 and it was a big improvement. The stock bridge pickup is *hot* at ~16k and its thicc, but its pretty flat and murky. Sounds pretty good just banging out some riffs, but muddy and spongey, playing with another person. The tremolo block in mine is fat, but its some kind of cheap alloy; it looks like steel, but I can gouge it with a screwdriver and its barely magnetic.
That said it plays pretty good, the tuners are better than most, it has adequate shielding so its quiet and the neck pickup sounds pretty good. I think a low end Ibanez isn't as well built, but does play better. Its a toss up. If you're looking for 'good enough' playability, the build quality and styling of the Jackson is a deal maker. If you need the best playability and are willing to sacrifice build, probably a comparably priced GIO/Ibanez is a better choice. The neck is a little flatter profile than a typical Ibanez, but the fretboards are pretty comparable - flat(This is a 12" radius snd I think my Ibanez is 11⅞")
Thanks for stopping by. 👍
Does it stay in tune while using whammy bar?
Can we buy this in 2021
Good job brother
is this guitar good for beginners?
It is a PERFECT beginner guitar. :)
i like that song what is it called i really wanna learn it and i just recently got that guitar it’s pretty good 0:44
It's an original I wrote.
That sounds better than my kramer baretta
Funny you said that, I am torn between this model ( I love flat tops not curvy fat tops) and the blue Kramer Baretta. Functionally the Jackson is superior but aesthetically I prefer the rounded smooth curves of the Kramer. My plan is to sell my old guitars and chose one, not working out Imalready have 4 in mind.
@@bluwng so I own the Js22 dinky and the baretta. I think kramer sounds great for all 80 and 70 metal and the jackson was good for Numetal/metalcore . Depends on what u play more.
@@teemoleague907 thanks
@@teemoleague907 from comfort and aesthetics I prefer the more rounded smooth curves of the Kramer but the versatility of the Jackson. Ideally I want the Kramer Body with the Jackson neck and guts. I think the Jackson neck would bolt right on.
I must be unlucky, I recently purchased a Jackson Dinky JS11, and it's going back to the dealer. Don't get me wrong, the neck is beautifully crafted, flat, with big fat shiny frets, and no fret sprout. The humbuckers are great, love the tone and power. The body is fantastic, comfortable, and not too heavy. NOW, here's why it is going back, the machine heads (tuners), are horrible, they just will not hold pitch, coupled with the nut slots that are cut too narrow, and the break angle of the B and high E strings, the strings bind in the slots. The tremolo system is also responsible for the guitar not returning to pitch after even mild usage. I really think you shouldn't have to replace various components in your budget guitar for it to do what it is supposed to do, namely perform as intended.
You can’t expect a 150$ guitar to have good tuners and trem system, spent 90 bucks on some tuners and nut and you’ll have a guitar that’s way better than what you put into it, stop being so damn lazy
@@Yurrbo not everyone can get them changed without knowledge some people don't wven have acces to a shop
@@Andehirt I had no knowledge when I made this comment, but I watched videos and learned how to do it. People make too many excuses
basically looks like Steve Vai from Crossroads on a budget
I'm ordering the guitar now but idk which color..
Definitely the red! 🤘
@@axeslinger okay buying the red one now!
I bought one in white and it should arrive soon
I want to do a blood splatter on it, make it look like the bc rich joey jordison warlock
That's a great idea!!
Wish me good luck
I have never done something like this 🤣
@@pauleaxe9407 GOOD LUCK!
you mean mick thomson ?
no, Joey played guitar in a band called Murderdolls and Bc Rich made him a blood splatter signature model in like 2010
where I can buy? Thanks 🤘
Hi there. You can buy it online or at your local instrument store. Cheers.
Ebay also !!
wait a minute, you just said that the JS11 has 22 frets, then turned around and said that the JS12 is the 22 fret version of the JS11. 🤷
as soon as you stopped playing i couldnt hear a damn thing you were saying lmao thought something went wrong
just got it this morning, dont let the price deceive you, comfort wise this guitar puts most other brand guitars to shame, the red finish is just as great as you see in the video (i thought it was just the angle and light work) , super light and easy to carry around and tone wise is great for the price tho i do plan on changing pickups eventually, id give it a solid 8/10
I just don't get this metal crap it just sounds like a bunch of random cords. If you can't even distinguish one thing from another it sounds like a bee buzzing zzzzzzzzzz you can play 50 metal songs back to back and they would all sound exactly the same I just don't get it. Is it because it's so simple to play that's why you guys play that crap need to learn to play guitar.
Is this clean enough for you!? ruclips.net/video/lBK3zErQVv0/видео.html
Haha. You’re mad
