  • Korean Air has decided to discontinue its economy class ramen service as of August 15. This is a measure taken in consideration of the recent increase in turbulence and passenger safety. Instead of discontinuing the ramen service, it announced that it would increase passenger satisfaction by offering new snack services and diversifying the in-flight self-snack bar. However, some passengers have raised the issue of discrimination and fairness in Korean Air's economy class. In addition, consumer dissatisfaction is spreading due to the policy that is in contrast to low-cost airlines that continue to sell cup ramen on board.
