RC Tanks & Trucks 24/7 Hey thanks man! Just subbed back. The 3rd video in this TBS "how to" series is the best. ruclips.net/video/LlhFoOzyQHM/видео.html

Hello, do you think this sound module would work with this dc motor controller? www.ebay.de/itm/Digital-LED-6V-12V-24V-PWM-DC-Motor-Controller-Variable-Speed-Regulator-BI504-/391575669070?hash=item5b2bba894e:g:25QAAOSwmfhX6rqv Or is ot only working with a transmitter for rc cars? I want to build a dynostand for my 1:18 modelcar and use the sound so if i increase the rpm of the dyno stand the sound shoukd increase too. What do you think? Thanks
If the unit has PWM I would think so. The TBS mini can control 2 PWM as well as the standard IO ports. You can program the TBS mini PWM end points and speed for the servos, so perhaps what you require could be done directly from the TBS mini? To be sure I suggest you contact Thomas at his web site. benedini.de/
oh, I read more of you question, I would think it would work if the unit you reference has PWM OUT that you could plug into the THROTTLE IN on the TBS mini. However, Thomas would be able to give a more educated answer.
what you are asking could be done with the TBSmini sound multi function module, but I think it would require a bit of programming the card and running the dyno with an RC controller and ESC/motor set up. Another way would be to make a controller do the thongs you want by using an Aduino or Raspberry Pi to control the dyno motor and sounds, but would take a bit of work I think.
ok i understand! This TBS thing is expensive. I think an arduino would be cheaper? Right? And what exactely means a little bit of work? :) Could you help me out in that or is it a very complex thing to do?
yeah, Arduino would be cheaper. I expect the work involved would be to program the card to control the DC motor and play the sounds the way you want them. I have not programmed Arduino, but there is lots of advice on the internet about it, I don't think it would be very hard.
Hello Cyanidetube, I have a friend who needs your help. He can not set the TBS Mini and have questions. I told him that you know the TBS Mini more than me. Can you give me an Email to contact ?? He has no account on youtube and lives in Spain .... Thank you!!!
Hello cyanidetube i watched your video on RUclips on I love the fatbetty project I like the sound of the benedini tbs mini. I send Thomas 3 email on now answer from Thomas. I don't understand if I of to buy the tbs mini of the link on Thomas website on then send him. a email .please help me I love that sound of the tbs mini.thanks
+Patrick Dixon Hi Patrick, Emailing Thomas is the way to order one direct from him. You need to give him some info on how you want the card. If you want the same sound as Fatbetty ask for "US Truck" sound to be installed. You need to specify which mode you would like it set to: "Auto Start" or "Manual Start" Auto Start will make the engine sound start when you first pull the throttle. Manual Start will start the engine sound with another switch on your transmitter. Which you choose will depend on the type of transmitter you have and how many channels you have spare. HobbyKing has them also, but I do not know if they will pre-program the card for you like Thomas dose. www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__9031__TBS_Mini_Programmable_Soundunit_.html

Hello,
What types of files or sound extensions can I load in the TBS Mini?
Are there any tutorials or videos on youtube?
Grateful.
ruclips.net/video/zcgYea3iV_k/видео.html
WAV audio files.
where is the battery/how is it hooked up? to the receiver?
can you purchase the entire TBS Mini multifunction sound card from Benedini?
yes, www.benedini.de/
Hooks to receiver and ESC. Can be used to control sounds, LEDs, servos etc... It is quite customisable.

@@darrin7684 I do not know. Try maxsollie's channel ruclips.net/user/maxsollie
Thats pretty cool man how much does 1 of them cards cost
Jacob Hayden About 99 Euro from their website (that includes VAT, so if you are not in Europe, it's 19% off that price)
Does it come stock with sounds? Or do you have to ask for it to be programmed?
If you get it from www.benedini.de you specify the sound set you want.
@@OldIronRC ok cool, thank you for the reply!
@@OldIronRC Would you happen to know if it's better to use the Y cable or to run through the sound board?
Nice video, for some reason it doesn't work for mine when I follow these instructions
The card may be set to a different play mode perhaps? I think there are 3 modes.
What Benedini sound is motor sound is that?
