Your opinions are always so honest and trustworthy. Others said Dynaquattro was just okay, but you praised it. I tried it out, and it was honestly amazing!
Great review as always. I reaaly enjoyed all your comparrisons to the other IEMs. I think Estrella would be just right for me. Need to go water my money tree!
You're my favorite IEM reviewer cause we have similar tastes and hearing your thoughts on this is hyping me up even more. Linsoul please send over my set ASAP!!!
I just noticed something. Im older and my hearing has declined. I favor the brighter sets more (but still with good bass). Younger or great hearing folk do not like the brigher sets (especially the 6kHz peak). So if you are older then you will definitely like the. brighter sets and if you are younger stay away from the brighter sets.
I’m so glad you compared the shape and size to the Aful Magicone, that iem is my ideal fit and literally feels like it was made for my ear with the way it fits and seals.
Thank you so much for contrasting the Estrella with so many of it's competitors. Since the comparison with the Dunu DaVinci was very short, I want to make the following personal observation (since I own the DaBinki). The strength of the DaVinci lies especially in the mids which have very natural timbre and weight and the tonality is warm. The highs are smooth, so it is very safe for people that have treble sensitivity, but it certainly lacks air and the soundstage is rather intimate. The bass is rich and textured (there is also a lot of it), but it is not the fastest and thus not the cleanest in the business. If I understood you correctly, the Estrella is not as warm, has cleaner/ faster bass, less pronounced mids and more sparkle up top. I guess my question is, would you recommend getting the Estrella if you already own the DaVinci or are the differences to small to make it worth the investment.
Great vid with tons of comparisons. The Estrella has some newer drivers/tech that were implemented well. Excited about mine and waiting. Love the Doscincos but had to have these too.
All of the reviews are positive but only focusing on the bass. I am not a basshead... not in the slightest. i prefer a cleaner and melodious sound. I listen to orchestral, jazz, and synthwave. Is the tape mod Estrella worth it for me? Looking for something that brings out the emotions in music.
I would rec the Ziigaat Arete for you then. It’s in the same Doscinco/Cincotres/Estrella family and is $260 I believe. It’s more balanced with a little less bass than Estrella and same for treble presence. But it has enough of both to be engaging and people seem to like it a lot
I'll try to when I can, I just have a lot of content to do. What I will say is the Hifiman Edition XS is an excellent headphone that is fully enjoyable.
I also wanted to ask about the nozzle diameter of the Estrella. The DaVinci has a very wide nozzle (I think it was around 6,3 on the lip) which can be too much if you have small earholes. Is the nozzle of the Estrella smaller?
Sure if possible.. I think to IEMs this is quite rare.. What you said about distinct tone and uniqueness to it makes me worry.. Cincotres had such an off-tone to its treble.
Your perspective on what an IEM should sound like is interesting. Seems to me like you're looking for uniqueness in an IEM. You used the word "fancy". I, on the other hand, perhaps others, are looking for "correct", or "natural" sound, but with dynamics and impact. I had the M5E 7th, and the human voice sounded *exactly* like a human voice... no boominess, no tunnel-ness, no sharpness or uplifted timbre, no metallic, no honkiness... exactly like human voice in an HD 600 -- just precisely like a human voice. And that tells me it is the most accurate IEM I can think of... but I wasn't looking for natural, I was looking for fun. I also didn't get on with HD 600, not fun enough. Like you said, some IEMs just don't "get you going". Anyway, funny how we each have a different thing we're looking for in a sound profile.
Worth getting if I currently own the 61T, Performer 5, SuperMix, and Adonis New? Debating between the Estrella, Arete and possibly the new Xenns Mangird Tea Pro depending on how the reviews are
Yeah that tuff, it has that cool different approach to upper mids. Could always sell a few sets that you don't' use then put that towards a new set. Always depends on what you need. New Xenns Mangrid Tea Pro looks interesting.
I’m trying to make my next set one that’s my ENDGAME set for gaming while also having ENDGAME sound quality. The Estrella seems like ENDGAME for music but not sure how it is for gaming. Arete could be ENDGAME for gaming but not music. Fresh reviews is gonna be reviewing the Tea Pro this week so I’m eagerly waiting. If I were to sell a set, probably my 61T. Sounds great but I hate the pressure, and it’s so hard to find good tips for it
Mostly hip hop but a little of everything. Since I already have the SuperMix which is excellent for gaming, and a few other sets great for music, I want 1 that is an upgrade over the SuperMix for gaming and an upgrade over my others for music. I know it’s a lot to ask for but that’s what I’m searching for at the moment

Congrats on Jaytiss x JayAudio video review.

This is a great review!! Im picking this one up only because of the price!
It does a great job in price to performance ratio.

What IEM under 500 makes you enjoy music the most? The one set that just makes you want to know what the next track sounds like.
Estrella is a solid pick under 500 for sure. Nice overall tonality.
Great review! 👍I really relate to your reviews. The Estrella sounds pretty impressive.
Thanks for watching! I really like it! It does a lot well.

For a person looking at these two, the fit might be the biggest difference. the nozzle size is huge on the Davinci compared to the Estrella.
Both of these comments are awesome, thank you two. Wish there were more reviews against the Arate.
I own both. Worth having both of them though if I were to choose, it'd be Estrella.

Nice
So nice
There are 4 vents in Davinci , i tape mod with covering 2 holes with 3M steri-strip. Notice that weird bass was gone, without making pressure built up
Good to know, I still don’t like having to mod a 300 dollar earphone.
Elysian x Jaytiss collab when?
lol. A collab would be fun, just to show my kids it. :)

So the real one competetor to Estrella is Dynaquattro? Did not really understand, is it better than EM10?
I think so.
Most people just say to get the Supermix 4 if you like the EM10 sound signature. EM10 has boomy bass and sibilance.
Bro could you do a review of the hifiman edition xs?and comparisons because it only costs 260$ rn and pls compare with iems and stuff

Cleaner, better upper mids, better air.

5.5mm according to jay
5.5mm. Jay wanted to make sure to keep it comfortable.
Hi Jay, great review. Thoughts on this compared to the Aful Explorer?
It’s closer than you might think. Estrella is a better iem due to better upper mids but explorer is a third of the cost and more comfortable.
@@Jaytiss What makes it more comfortable? Comfort is huge to me.
Hi Jay. Is Estrella a good complement to the Doscinco? Or are they too similar? Any recommendation please? Thanks
I think so. They are different enough.
Which is overall better the thieaudio hype 4 or the estrella? Also with EQ
It depends. I like the upper air on Estella more, you can always eq to fix things.
