Hey Dana, glad to see yawl whackinem'! Ez and I have really been enjoying this spring bonanza of eager bass, like shootin' ducks in a barrel! See you on the water!
Good morning Dana, you have caught some “GOOD ONE’S”, I will be throwing the lizard tomorrow, I njoy ALL your vids Dana, THANK YOU again for your vids on Lanier.
I was out yesterday (April 13) with a guide and did not have any such luck. We fished both south and north, and we could see plenty of fish and bait balls, but they weren't biting much. We fished from 35 feet to bank edge. Between the 2 of us, we caught only 10 small fish over 4 hours. Small worms on swim bait heads and spinner baits along the shoreline was the only thing we could catch. It was cold and windy too. I was disappointed because I keep seeing people have great success fishing here in April. Oh well, I can enjoy watching you catch them always!!!! Thanks for the video.
Dana, thanks for these videos that show details on how to catch bass. I tried your techniques and rigging on Baldrige Creek all the way up to the far north end, but didn't get a bite. I'll keep trying, but I think I need to find the fish.
Our big lakes are open but I’ve been checking out the smaller ponds I like to Kayak fish on and they are just about all still 75% or more iced in. Bodhi and I hiked into the pond that became my favorite last year and it was still 90% iced in but the temperature was today 79 and tomorrow is gonna be warmer so it won’t be too long. I will have my motor boat ready for the smallmouth spawn and when I get back from CJ’s we should be in prime time. Your videos get me fired up for open water.
Nice Great fishing in Georgia. ❤
Thanks Carlos!

Thanks Chauncey! I have a lot of videos to edit, we have been hammering them! Seems like a different lure works best each time we go.
@@FCPFishing I SEE! Great catches though, bass really hate the lizard, I’m going to fish it on a shakeyhead Saturday on Oconee
Another great video guys. Lots of different baits seem to be working right now.
The trick is figuring out what's going to work best for that day!
AND spinnerbaits also 😄
The spinnerbait bite depends on the wind.
@@FCPFishing Yeah I know, I also have my chatterbaits with me also, and my swimjig
Great timing just sat down
Thanks for watching! The fishing has been unbelievable!
Same here. Nice action on those striper!
Nice bass and y’all got in a nest of those stripers lol. I went to Hartwell this morning. Only caught 3. Something was off 🤷♂️
Every once in awhile a day like that happens.

That is really surprising. A guide should have had no problem putting you on fish, especially this time of year.
@@FCPFishing We could see them, but they weren't liking what we offered. We tried different colored worms, but no lizards.
@@jameseasley2930 It is all about location. I'm guessing you were on the south end somewhere.

Head farther up the lake to the north end towards either the Chestatee or Chattahoochee.

I don't think I could do without fishing for so long!
@@FCPFishing the older I get , the harder it gets
The lizard again. I am surprised you are not yet onto the topwater popper yet. You jinxed the gamma line on that tree.
It just so happens that I am editing a topwater video now!
My family loves it when we find the Stripers on top of the water. What size jig head do you like to get the right fall on the fluke?
It all depends on depth and wind. I make several different sizes of jig heads. Usually a 1/8 or a 1/4 will get the job done.
