Some composers, Penderecki stated, had "forgotten about music" and were composing "notes only," while he wanted to compose "music with a human face" and distance himself from his peers and imitators.
That's a noble goal, but without someone as talented as Arto to actually play those notes, it's all meaningless drivel. Also, who was imitating Penderecki?
Krzysztof Penderecki (1933-2020) is more than a reflection of an era. It’s a phantom asteroid who returns to set his sights on sound art. A decadent wave laden with paradoxes from which obscurantism and the irrational escape, hypnotic factors defying vulnerable souls in search of the infinity. This sound architecture is an translucid and short tunnel that leads to light, or perhaps, in chaos¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Obscuridad y temblor... mayúscula obra. Gracias por la puesta. Aquellos posteadores que escriben puras idioteces mejor será que no pasen por aquí. Esto es arte y cultura.

Bold words. Some of us appeciate composers like Penderecki, Schnittke, Pettersson et al., just as much. I wonder whether you have the same tenacity outside of the classical idiom.
| I can imagine participants of a dark rite loving this music as Beethoven or Brahms were loved ... at times it makes me want to curse and, at others, let myself be carried away and say "how impressive".
tbh I listen to a lot of metal stuff also. but a lot of those artists who wear do that whole gothic thing with the facepaint and black leather and spikes outfits and that whole evil attitude are usually nowhere near as evil and violent in their music as guys like these. and they did it all without the looks or satanic lyrics.
RemorfChuket (I know this comment is old) Music is an amazing way to portray emotion, the way that this music is played conveys such murderous and evil intent because that is what it's made for. The composer more than likely made it with great emotion in mind.

RIP Krzysztof Penderecki,
forever goat, and G.
Rest in peace
00:00 Nr.1
17:56 Nr.2
53:13 viola and chamber orchestra
The first concerto fills me with so much anxiety, and yet I can't stop listening to it.
This actually seems to reflect various changes in nature
One of the best "album-videos" of the entire RUclips. Thanks.

🤔Close, but no banana. "Translucid-ish", I'd have thought!?

Thank you so much for uploading this!
stunning
They are so fantastic I dig it
A Penderecki no se le va una. Cada concierto para cello es una belleza.
I would love to hear the rest of this piece but I got to go to bed now 🌷❤️
The new music Tonal Scale is as thus: 12 7 5 2 3 : 1 4 5 9 14
Not 12 with 7 & 5 BUT 14 with 9 & 5 [2^(1/14)]
These are the Tonal Scales growing from f (by cycles of fifths):
All Scales build from the first mode: equivalent to Lydian f
White keys are = & Black keys are |
12 with 7 & 5 [2^(1/12)] =|=|=|==|=|= {1,8,3,10,5,12,7,2,9,4,11,6} 1thru7are= 8thru12are|
7 with 5 & 2 [2^(1/7)] ===|==| {1,3,5,7,2,4,6} 1thru5are= 6&7are|
5 with 2 & 3 [2^(1/5)] =||=| {1,3,5,2,4} 1&2are= 3thru5are|
Now evolving up the other end
5 with 4 & 1 [2^(1/5)] ==|== {1,3,5,2,4} 1thru4are= 5is|
9 with 5 & 4 [2^(1/9)] =|=|=|==| {1,8,3,7,5,9,2,4,6} 1thru5are= 6thru9are|
14 with 9 & 5 [2^(1/14)] =|=|===|=|===| {1,12,3,14,5,7,9,11,2,13,4,6,8,10} 1thru9are= 10thru14are|
Joseph Yasser is the actual originator of the realization,
that scales develop by cycles of fifths.

The chromatic scale we use today is divided by 2^(1/12) twelfth root of two
Instead of moving to the next higher: the 19 tone scale 2^(1/19) nineteenth root of two
I decided to go all the way down and back up the other end:
So 12 - 7 = 5 & 7 - 5 = 2 & 5 - 2 = 3
Now we enter to the other side:
2 - 3 = -1 & 3 - -1 = 4 & -1 - 4 = -5 & 4 - -5 = 9 & -5 - 9 = -14
ignoring the negatives we have 1 4 5 9 14
Just follow the cycles how each scale is weaved together, as shown above.
Each scale has its own division within the frequency doubling,
therefore the 14 tones scale is 2^(1/14) fourteenth root of two
Genial composer
Mastet of direct expression on human ultra auditoria 🌞

I do not understand why there is only the second concerto and not the first one and why there is a concerto for viola.
The third piece is arranged for the cello
Ain't nothin' but a G thang, baybee...
This is a great soundtrack for first world problems 🤣 brilliant !
That's pop music.

Second concerto is so boring... First one is amazing!
