- Hey Everyone! We are back with another Among Us Town of Us video! For this video I take an in depth look at all the roles currently available in the current version of Town of Us. In addition to placing the roles into their respective tiers I go into depth about what the roles do AND how changing the optional roles of the various classes affect their placement on the tier list.
Anyway, I hop you all enjoyed this Among Us video! And as a side note I wonder when Corpse, Toast and Pokimane will start playing Among Us again. Hopefully when the 15 player update and new colors drop! Anyway, til next time.

When I saw this mod on other people's gameplay channel's and I really wanted to get it but I can't because they won't share the link. But I found your channel and you putted the link of the mod and even explained on how it works. This saved me from crying to my bed so thank you so much

In the latest Among Us update, the mayor has to vent twice to automatically call a meeting, which I think is great especially if you find the imposter early. It’s also helpful if there are any sabotages.
I feel like Miner could be better because sometimes the vents become invisible (depending on where you place them) which can be really op, as long as the engineer doesn't discover them. That does take knowledge of maps to know where vents turn invisible when you place them, but it also helps a lot too. I think it really depends on where you place your vents and whether people notice them.

I would put Swapper high up. It's fun.
I think Miner is better than where you put it. The fact that even if they know there is a miner, they don't know it is you at that moment. You can also make crazy plays with Miner if you practice vent placements as well.
Hmmm thast fair. If you are super good at any role it can probably be a better tier
You know what could make the lover role crazier?
Basically make it work more like the werewolf lovers whereas one can be crewmate and one can be impostor

My thoughts:
I think Arsonist is probably a B or C tier role. This is because people don’t know that they are doused and basically nobody knows there is an Arsonist in the game until it’s too late. Also, people often are grouped up and that gives you a free douse or two. That said, your point about being alone and susceptible to death is valid.
I would put Swooper in B just because I’ve seen a crazy amount of times in which a Swooper’s invisibility has run out while they kill someone. I think that is really easy to occur if not played right, however it is still a strong role.
I would say Time Lord is probably even A, because with the amount of times you can revive means it is quite likely you will eventually catch somebody killing. They also hard counter the Camouflager because if said camouflager killed in a group you would rewind time and bang, there’s your impostor out. Also the Sheriff combo you were talking about is stupidly overpowered.
I’d also put Swapper in D as while it does have the capacity to make some good plays, the amount of times it throws the game and votes out a Crewmate is so much higher than the amount of times it gets an Impostor/Neutral out. I think for Swapper to work you need a specific situation (for example the impostor blames you in the final 3 and you vote yourself and swap with the impostor, because they are bound to vote you).
Finally I would put Shifter in C as even though you Insta-die if you swap with an Impostor, you have the ability to immediately clear a crewmate by shifting with them. The crewmate-turned-shifter could then say who they are swapping with and if they die, you know that person was an impostor and if they don’t there is another person to your ‘cleared’ list. I’m not saying Shifter doesn’t have problems, I just think it does add value to the gameplay and can potentially be quite helpful for the Crewmates.
These are just my opinions though, obviously they aren’t facts. I think in general your tier list is pretty accurate except for a few outliers outlined above that are stronger/weaker in my head.

I think shifter could be very good because if you shift into someone who isn’t the imposter you can both clear each other and then he can shift into someone and they could be the imposter and they die or they could be a non imposter and it keeps on going on

I think my least favourite thing about Lover role is that it has too many components with it. I don't mind if two of the people die. But I don't like that you get a win condition if you're Top 3. I feel like it ruins the challenge. Also what if it's just Imposter, Imposter-lover, lover and a crewmate? Like do you let the Imposter win or the lover. There's no way for the crewmate to win.
Ngl sheriff should be in B because in the game if the sheriff died it can't do anything and if you shot the wrong person the person and you are dead but it's pretty useful in late game ngl(my choice)
swapper - not really a troll role; most effective when you use it to prevent a mislynch (agree w tier placement)
TL - can literally reverse kills to get an imp on 50/50, pr a guaranteed lynch (dependant on ig roles); easy b/a
Shifter - a NE that makes town members play hot potato; Can be used to verify players after a decent time has passed (after u shift). I'd say A in concept, but yea bottom tier strength dependant on how strong town is
Arso - 👏🏽skill, 👏🏽issue; just use burns when you need to bring numbers down, you can *get* mislynches; C tier
Minor - C tier; gives rlly good utility (depending on groping mechanics,haven't played w/ it yet)
Hey remember, the altruist can revive a body but not the ejected ones, like an impostor getting ejected. Also no impostor will die unless they get ejected. Also those roles are making me confusing.

I hate the Snitch. Like you're forced to complete tasks before dying. Most people can't do that.

I had a game as lover and mayor which was really fun I don't necessarily think either is a great role but like the game itself was really cool my lover was one of the imposters I see them kill in front of me and decide that this is probably a toxic relationship and I'm in love with the psychopath but nobody's perfect so I'm going to support them and I report and then like just keep covering for them and they keep doing it like I want to say I saw them kill three people in front of me so like eventually we get very close to the end game I am once again covering for them and we start like sauce gets kind of thrown around on some other people and I try to get on one person my lover just doesn't seem to take that bait and I'm like okay that might actually be the other imposter and I don't necessarily need to get rid of them so I like say like whoever you vote for I will vote for and they voted for one of the guys I threw all of my votes on them so we just got rid of that person and then I just kind of stood back and waited for them to get the last kill they needed and we won. So I think that is like the main way lover becomes very fun is when you know your lover is like the other killer or a killer when you figure this out and just decide well I have to keep them alive now. So you get to essentially third imposter

No shifter is great. It's an opportunistic role.
