I made this comment on your live video and wanted some feedback from others but it was taken down. I received my decision letter stating I have chronic sinusitis and is granted with the evaluation of 0%. Very frustrating I even had a DBQ from a VA doctor. Not sure what my next step should be.
Answered.

Didn't really need to edit it. We are understanding people.

I received my rating today and was completely low balled at 40% when I should’ve received 60. They did not put one of my claims on there they never said whether it was denied or pending. Is it possible they could still be reviewing a condition when they approved all the other ones already?
No way I can comment anything solid without seeing the full situation. Feel free to join our Facebook group and post your decision letter (redacted) anonymously so we can give some input.

Depends…if you have the evidence, HLR. If not, get the evidence and submit supplemental.
You have to understand how the VA rates sinusitis and if you rate a higher %, go for it.

Newbie going through the claims process after retiring in Oct. I had issues getting everything compiled and submitted to my VSO partially because of one of my on going issues. How will the sleep apnea changes affect me if my submission is waiting for review and action now? I won't be grandfathered on to the previous rating criteria right?
It won’t effect you.

I filed for OSA in early December, already had a home sleep study done by primary doctor and was issued a CPAP. I even got a nexus and a DBQ filled out. Do you think I will get the 50% rating?
Direct/secondary? I’m going to assume secondary and if that’s the case…it’s a coin flip, man. OSA secondary (and I’m assuming to mental health) comes down to correlation instead of causation. This is why it’s a ‘difficult claim’. Totally possible to connect, but there is a ton of information I would need from you to be able to give you any sort of ‘decent’ recommendation or even my thoughts.
Check this out for correlation when it comes to OSA and it goes more in-depth. The more you have, the better your claim. (Again, I’m assuming secondary). OSA: ruclips.net/video/6YObEEIvrQ4/видео.htmlsi=FjsplN9mhxIvFQUn

Similar situation with my private doctor. I claim OSA secondary to my sc asthma. Had my cp exam already. Waiting for rating.
I’ve been having problems with my tinnitus and prescribed sleep pills and antidepressants . I filed a claim and have a C&P exam coming up soon for mental health do you have any advice?
I do! 2 videos you should watch:

What do I have to do to hop on a short call with you to discuss some disability issues?
Info on that coming soon.
- Clay
So there’s no way to get a % for migraines??? Please link me a source or video if you have one. Thanks
It is absolutely possible to have a compensable rating for migraines. Here: ruclips.net/video/Vd9uqszmS1Q/видео.htmlsi=N4ZlzT59J5l5UZ6n

Each knee are different disability, i have it for left, but not right. Even though my right knee is worse 😂 classic VA
IBS is not PACT ACT right? Or is it?
Yes
- Clay
Thank you, I’ve been confused on this, I have a C&P for IBS, and a couple other issues this week.
The sleep apnea change hasn’t been accepted though right?
Accepted isn’t the right word…it’s been reviewed and the commentary period has been complete for about 2yrs. Expect the changes to be finalized and established either this year or next (no one knows when).

@@TheCivDiv thanks for the info brother, I ets soon and I’m able to start my BDD in like 24 days so I’m praying I get my stuff in and submitted so I get that EZ guaranteed 50% for my sleep apnea
