i added this formula in excel =SUBTOTAL(3,$B$2:B3) and the adaptions to filters is working fine. However each time i add a row to the table it does not continue in sequence rather it continues adding total number of rows each time adding a new row. for example if my table has 30 rows when i deployed the formula, then i added another 4 rows, it will display the number 34 in all 4 new added rows. what would be the problem and how to fix it?!

All I need is a column with serial numbers on my online (MS Teams) excel spreadsheet, which works even after "filtering" the data.

You need to apply formula again, each time you insert new rows

Did you check on Desktop Excel?
But it only copies the 1 when I drag, so I get a long list of 1's...
It works for whole list, watch tutorial again and drag as shown in video
