- In the second of a three-part series on INDBATT II (The 7 th Garhwal Rifles Infantry Battalion) in South Sudan, SNI Associate Editor Amitabh P Revi and Video Journalist Prateek Suri document security and outreach operations in Bor, the capital of Jonglei state. They find a deeper than you can imagine India connect in the east-central African country that is the youngest nation in the world and is trying to forge its way to peace.

Take a bow SNI team. Amazing work done by SNI team to bring us news which is almost never covered by MSM and to do it with empathy & sensitivity. The work done by our armed forces in South Sudan is a good reflection of what we strive for. This should be watched by our MSM which was arrogant, insensitive, devoid of empathy in the way they covered the Nepal earthquake and earned the ill will of quite a few Nepalis for Indians.

I know WE have many problems here in our country 🇮🇳 but don't know why when I see the development work of our Army in another country, building their nation from scratch makes me feel proud in being an Indian 🇮🇳. This is the patriotism which came naturally in you seeing your army helping others (not to exploit them but to help them), truly India Army stands with it's motto 'Sewa Paramo Dharma' which means 'Service is our prime duty'!
