Hey guys! Hope you enjoyed the video! After some second thoughts and you guys mentioning it too, I may have been a bit too harsh on Dooku for Yoda's Checklist regarding the Rancor Raid. If you run Vader zeta in the Raid you could use him but keep in mind he is probably not going to be better than using someone like Sidious, Rex, TFP, Magmatrooper, Teebo, etc. but the fact he is fast and can attack multiple times means there are more chances he could remove turn meter as prescribed in Vader's leadership. So let's mark up the Rancor Raid as a "Do" for him! Thanks!
Thanks to his speed and the way Vader's leader ability works, Dooku is much better than the likes of Teebo or Magmatrooper. He's arguably the best character in the Rancor raid under a Vader lead, due to the speed and multiple attacks.
I'm glad I picked up that $4.99 pack for Dooku when the game came out. Wish we got more characters to 3* with a $4.99 pack. They'd sell like Grandma Tarkin's cookies.
Haha so true and almost nothing sells better than Grandma Tarkin's cookies! I miss those 3 star $4.99 and I always keep pushing EA to try and bring them back but seems like those $20 sith packs are the best we are getting for now. Hopefully that will change!
LevelUpN00B I've got an ask Sith team with a Nihilus lead followed by Vader, Dooku, Sidious, and Savage Opress... with the health steal they're basically unstoppable
Oh yeah he's just Nasty with Nihilus. So many battles I've had where it looks like Dooku never lost health. But once you land that shock and daze as I mentioned Dooku is just a punching bag then.
I had a battle where I knocked out everybody but Dooku. I had two toons left, and they had high health. Except Dooku can stun anybody now, and Nihilus turns him into an immortal vampire. So every time he got hit, he got his 4-poke dance and his health recovery was OVER 9,000!!!
I actually find it very easy to take out dooku under a nithlus lead. Take out nithlus> any supports that might give me extra trouble > focus on dooku until he's dead > take out the rest. And with a Cphasma lead, dooku, bobba fett, princess leia, and luminara unduli it's kinda easy. More so if my dooku gets a stun in on theirs, and combo with a stealthed leia (who hits like a drunk trucker), other dookus do down fairly easy. Main point, get the other team down to two/three people, try to stun their dooku if you can and just smack'em with an entire team until he's dead. If you can't stun.... well, there's health block! xD..
Another GREAT video, as usual. I love my sith team for GW: Nihilus (L), Palpy, Maul, and 2 out of these 3: Sidious/Dooku/Sith Assassin. I usually make the 12 nodes under 15 minutes with that team (not fully developed gear level, but most of them around lvl 9). As much as I'd love to see a Savage video (I haven't developed him yet as he always seemed useless in the past), I know you have only so much time, so I'd LOVE it if you could do ROGUE ONE characters (mostly, Jyn, Cassian, Chirut and Baze). I know you made some videos about them in the pit, or when they were released, but as they will soon become farmable for the F2P (and as someone who is investing a lot of resources to gear those 4 up), I think that would be the best help, mostly because a lot of people still don't know about the awesome synergies that team has (besides the Chaze synergy, which is the only one that has been quite talked abouit). Sorry for the long comment, it's only because I love you work, man, it helps me and a lot of people, so keep it up!

Hey Ahnald I've been thinking of running a Rogue 1 Team with Jyn lead with chaze, but not sure who else to use. I was thinking Bistan + one other. Have any suggestions? I was thinking to Zeta Jyn and use a rebel team for all raids / pvp. Thoughts?
My first zeta he is such an awesome character to play and paired with Nihilus has been the last man standing on my team against a full team and still defeated them all.
I'd like to see Savage reviewed too. He is my biggest regret-farm, but he just had a glorious moment in GW when he finished the last node 1 vs 1 against a huge Mace Windu....

Hey AhnaldT101, I have Darth Nihilus, Dooku, and a lot of other Sith unlocked. However, they low on levels, gear, and stars since I've been focusing on my Clone and Empire team. I keep hearing for a Sith team to have Darth Maul be your leader, but I really want to try Darth Nihilus as a lead. Is he still a good leader for a Sith team with Dooku, Maul, Vader, Savage, and another Sith or should I just stay with the meta and make Maul my leader?
If you haven't done Death Trooper he'd be awesome to review since he is semi-f2p now! Give us an idea of if we want to continue when he becomes fully farmable.
I have been using dooku with my sith team under a non zeta Darth Maul leadership and seems to do well with all the counters and stuns and ability blocks in fact I prefer him over Darth Sidious. My team is maul,vader,emperor dooku and Nihilus.
Yeah Dooku is a pretty flexible character and works in many lineups which is why he is ranked as a Master! He is just severely countered once Daze is applied. Just becomes a punching bag at that point and is not countering to apply stun and ability block.
Let's start a campaign to Make the Empire great again! Give the empire power that is immeasurable! Give us Thrawn, governor price, Admiral Piet, or Admiral Ozel rework Tarkin, Veers, snow trooper, and the stormtrooper! There are many fan favorites just do something! Also a Zelda for emperor palpatine would be nice I worked hard to get him and now Barris Offee is almost better with her ability, he should have UNLIMITED POWER!

Yeah he could be useful definitely. Perhaps I was a bit harsh on Dooku when considering the Rancor raid but when thinking in light of all the other characters which offer a lot more Dooku is not an obvious choice. Sidious, TFP, Nihilus, Rex, and many others are more efficient candidates in my opinion since they do more than just remove turn meter. You can definitely use Dooku but he should not be your #1 choice in my opinion. Hope that answers your question!
It did, thank you. I'm trying to focus on a Vader lead raids team without looking to spend a ton. TFP and sid are already on my list. Was looking for a fast easy farm 4th and 5th. Already got emperor stared and will likely use him as a 4th for now. Thanks again.

All you need is the TM removal, and his combination of speed and multiple attacks make him better than any of those guys under a Vader lead. With the goal being to kill the Rancor without it ever taking a turn, he simply does it better than the rest of them.
Correction dooku was not truely sith if you listen to one of his stories he was placed there by the council and also originally wanted to destroy the sith in revenge for maul killing qui gon jinn
If you have Maul zeta and you have Kenobi I'd say go for Sidious since Kenobi sort of helps Dooku get the critical immunity he needs. Nearly doubling Sidious' health is pretty huge because he is even squishier than Dooku. Even if you do not have Kenobi I'm still leaning towards Sidious but Dooku becomes a much more enticing choice to get that critical immunity all the time plus he hits harder. Hope that helps!

Oh yeah hands down. That animation of his gets under your skin. I forgot to mention that is one reason he is not the best Rancor raid character because I wouldn't be able to stand watching his animations for so long haha

Glad you are enjoying the reviews! But yep that is why Dooku is held back is because he has a pretty big weakness against Maul and other Daze characters. Still solid though overall.
plana457 You could but you would be sacrificing a lot of other better characters. You'd probably want Sidious instead of Dooku so you could pile on those DoT. So you could use Dooku if you're lacking other Raid characters but I think you'd be way better off with some other characters.

Sem Bruintjes I'm not ahnald, but maybe this would help out. she's great for galactic war and leveling up but once you reach high level content, she's pretty meh. her damage is pretty weak relative to everyone else, healing isn't really viable for arena, and she isn't really usable in a lot of cases past Jedi mods, yoda event, and galactic war. Even in the aat raid, there are just better jedi characters like Aayla, Anakin, Qui Gon, Yoda, General Kenobi, etc. in terms of leveling up, she's great. she was my first 7 star character. but she's just really subpar compared to the better jedi, clones, and rebels
Shes great early to mid game, and has a great heal and damage, however shes a bit slow and squishy so she starts losing usefulness at higher levels. I think she should be a little bit higher aswell, but most healers lose all use in high levels. level 85 and I still use her occasionally xD
All these lovely people pretty much said why I and my panel of judges placed Luminara in Padawan. Buuuuuuut a lot of the community disagrees so maybe when I do an in-depth review on her I'll let the public overrule our decision on that ranking!
Seeing dooku on the enemy team makes me sad. Being nearly entirely ftp I still don't have a ton of high level characters to choose from. My only reliable counter is to kill him (1 shot) before he can counter/self heal my team into oblivion.

Glad you are enjoying the reviews! But yep that is why Dooku is held back is because he has a pretty big weakness against Maul and other Daze characters. Still solid though overall.
Is it worth to put it under zader lead to do rancor due his high speed for TM removal?
plana457 You could but you would be sacrificing a lot of other better characters. You'd probably want Sidious instead of Dooku so you could pile on those DoT. So you could use Dooku if you're lacking other Raid characters but I think you'd be way better off with some other characters.
I got 50 of his shards by paying for a pack with coins and not crystals, but the cantina is the best place to farm him I think
I'm currently farming Count Dooku right now. I don't have him available in the Cantina Battles, though.
Awesome! He's great as a beginner character. Hopefully you get to that cantina battle sooner so you can farm him a lot faster!

Can you please do one on luminara, because I don't understand why she is in the padawan category.
Sem Bruintjes I'm not ahnald, but maybe this would help out. she's great for galactic war and leveling up but once you reach high level content, she's pretty meh. her damage is pretty weak relative to everyone else, healing isn't really viable for arena, and she isn't really usable in a lot of cases past Jedi mods, yoda event, and galactic war. Even in the aat raid, there are just better jedi characters like Aayla, Anakin, Qui Gon, Yoda, General Kenobi, etc. in terms of leveling up, she's great. she was my first 7 star character. but she's just really subpar compared to the better jedi, clones, and rebels
Shes great early to mid game, and has a great heal and damage, however shes a bit slow and squishy so she starts losing usefulness at higher levels. I think she should be a little bit higher aswell, but most healers lose all use in high levels. level 85 and I still use her occasionally xD
All these lovely people pretty much said why I and my panel of judges placed Luminara in Padawan. Buuuuuuut a lot of the community disagrees so maybe when I do an in-depth review on her I'll let the public overrule our decision on that ranking!
Seeing dooku on the enemy team makes me sad. Being nearly entirely ftp I still don't have a ton of high level characters to choose from. My only reliable counter is to kill him (1 shot) before he can counter/self heal my team into oblivion.
